Chapter 33: Battle Frontier (Part 3)

“These three will gonna be your pupils to teach. They are all cute girls please don’t do weird stuff on them.”

“Like hell that I would do something to them… I don’t have a lolita complex and I don’t see them as women at all. You see, a woman is a girl with a big chest, nice but and slender body. Paired with a pretty face. Will make her more attractive… Ouch!”

Before Glenn finished her passionate explanation of how a woman was.

Taki kicks his toes with a grumpy face. Putting Glenn down on her knees.

“What’s your problem? Little runt!”

“L-Little runt… I grow bigger you know! I grow 2 mm from before!”

“Growing 2 mm from before is not much different from you're appearance before.”

As Taki and Glenn fight and became rowdy.

Karyll looks at them with a satisfied expression. She smiles looking at how Taki and Glenn fight with each other.

I don’t really get it but they look amusing.

“I think that’s how people marry each other. Taki and Glenn look good with each other after all. Glenn might be in his twenties but look young. Taki is cute at the same time. It will make both of you a happy couple.”

“What?! Are you saying, Master?!”

Taki's face became red as a tomato and hold both cheeks with her hand. She turns her body away from Glenn.

“W-What’s wrong with you master?! I said I don’t have a lolita complex!”

“Then why you're blushing?”

Glenn turns his body away and then pretends to fan himself with his hand.

“You know summer is coming and it’s getting hotter on this Island. I’m blushing because of the sun's heat.”

Looking at their reaction. Taki and Glenn might have deeper feelings for each other. It’s very amusing looking at their blushing faces.

Well, romance I was thinking about it before. But it throws the concept away. Maybe, it’s because I don’t have a father figure with me. I have never seen a man and woman being sweet to each other. All I know is My mother and I love each other. Same in how I like Mayu.

Seeing how cute Taki and Glenn were to each other makes me want to root for them.

“I’ll support your shipping.”

I said to Taki with thumbs up.

“Me too.”

“What are you two saying, Laura?! Yumi?!”

Moving on, we head back to the port to see master Karyll go off to the ship back to the central city for her work. As promised we will see each other again after the three of us got 50 consecutive wins in the battle event.

The sun was still up. We have lots of things to do. Looking in this amusement park-like place. I want to look around and enjoy the place.

Instead of that, he brings us to the alley with no people. Still together with the old fat man.

Walking with him totally creeps me out. It’s like he's looking at us weirdly. Yumi is just ignoring it. But Taki whose also walking beside feels very uncomfortable walking while the old man was behind her. She looks irritated.

Glenn stopped walking and with seriousness, she turns his face on us.

“First let's start everything by measuring your strengths.”

“Measuring our strengths…”

“That’s right, you must throw your most powerful punch to this man. I don’t care if you will use your energy or magic in the process all you need to do is throw a punch at this man… This will be great right… This man is looking and fanaticizing weirdly on your bodies. You should all go all out and beat this guy.”

“Hehehe… Glenn that’s harsh of you… I love lolita like them. Especially super cute ones like them. But you know better than anyone that I can’t commit crime because of your ability.”

This old man is definitely hopeless. I don’t like judging the book by its cover but this is another case. He's really into us and looking weird.

I hate that creepy smile on his face.

I step forward and charged my fist with my energy and magic. Curling my fist, I swing my arms and stroke his stomach with my fist.

My fist sinks toward its stomach. He rolled upward with the pain he just receives.

I then step backward.

“That was powerful…”

“Hehehe… I’m grateful to you Glenn, for being punch and punished by a little girl. Is the most delightful feeling in this world!”

What is with him? it’s disgusting! Seeing how delighted his face made me want to punch him again.

Next time, I will punch him in the face. I thought as I curl my fist and shake.

“This is my revenge…”

Taki makes the second move. She crouched her knees and hold her right hand with her left. A dense amount of magic and energy was focused on her fist.

The wind started to build upon the alley.

Amazing! I have never seen such dense magic being focused in one fist.

Taki’s eyes are raging in anger. She then throws a punch toward the old fat man.

The fist sends the old fat flying and crushed on the wall. Throwing up some blood. He moves like he was drunk.

“Hehehehe this feels so good… I feel like I wanted to die.”

This old carp is really a  masochist creepy trash. After receiving such a powerful attack he considered it was a reward.

“Do you like t*****e? Please don’t die on me…”

Yumi’s hollowed eyes were seen.

The old man was creepy, but Yumi sure releases a creepier aura around her.

Seeing it, Taki and I just gulp our saliva.

Yumi steps forward and grabbed the fat man's arms. She grabbed it tightly like she’s about to crush it. With her right arms, she clenched her fist and strike the old man with a consecutive punch.

It’s no ordinary punch each punch he throws is packed with a dense amount of magic comparable to Taki.

Now that I notice it, Glenn didn’t say that he's going to measure our strength with one punch. Throwing multiple times would be fine.

“Are you fine?! Are you fine?! si this okay?! Are you feeling good?!”

At his dreadful state… Even a masochist will never gonna feel good. I’m no a fan of t*****e, but it’s good for him to have a serious beating.

Taki stepped forward and with her feet, she kicks and joins Yumi.

“Take this you piece of trash!”

I turn my glance on Glenn and ask.

“Is that really okay? That man might die…”

“It’s okay that man is basically on death row after assaulting girls. Tomorrow he will die in my care. Beating him up and making him feel good is his last wish. That’s why I give it to him. Also, it’s a great way to measure each strength. With each punch, you all throw. I got a better understanding of your power level.”

“I see, this man will die.”

“It’s a win-win I guess… Taki got her revenge and he got his pleasure.”

I don’t find pleasure in beating someone. I guess I’ll be stepping out for now.

“Measuring all of your power. I think you and Taki were on the same level. Taki’s punch looks more powerful but she merely takes time to charge it up. But if you charge your fist you will be able to throw lunch at the same level as her… This other girl called Yumi is the most incredible one. She’s using energy and not magic yet. Her body was already reinforced and very strong from the start. Is it really okay to teach such mess-up kids like the three of you? I totally questioned my Master's decisions.”

The beating continues and the old fat man was beaten up and his looks can’t be recognized anymore. His face was swollen and his body was covered with blood.

Is this guy still alive?

“Don’t worry his still breathing... At the time the clock hits 12:00 MD tonight I’ll already kill him as part of my job.”

“What is your job exactly?”

“I’m also a knight serving the kingdom.”

Knowing that he's a knight that serves the kingdom makes me what to ask something important to him.

I pull my courage and look at Glenn.

“Glenn-san, did you know about the blue-haired girl taken to the central city before. She breaks the rule of trespassing to the dark territory.”

“The blue-haired girl… I saw it, I was in the kingdom when the group of state knights brings a blue-haired child that said to bring chaos on her town. Many people were slaughtered, including Master Karyll’s master named Luna.”

Luna… That means my mother. Master Karyll’s master was my mother. No wonder she’s so great.

“That’s my mother… Luna is my mother.”

Surprised he make a step back.

“You’re mother was Luna? I see, I understand now… Then, I can’t mess up this job. Did Master Karyll know about this?”

“I guess not she didn’t ask me about it.”

“So Laura’s mother was my Master’s master.”

Taki said and look at me with awe same with Yumi.

“My best friend is really great.”

“Then why are you asking about the blue-haired girl?”

“She is an important friend of mine. We promised to travel the world together. I wanted to visit her grave or know what happened to her.”

“Then, unfortunately, you can’t visit her grave…”

“Huh? Why is that? It’s said that she was executed in the central city.”

“Is that what they tell you? Still, I’m sure she was saved on that day. She’s alive the blue-haired girl was alive. I don’t know her exact location but she was alive. You might get some information on Master Karyll after you finished your mission here in Battle Frontier.”

Mayu was alive…

Unconsciously, tears flow down my eyes.

“Laura?!”

“Did you make her cry?”

“No, I didn’t!”

“Nope… I’m just happy that my friend was alive… Our promise to each other might still come true. May was still alive and I’m very very happy.”

Wiping my tears with my arms. Ters continuously flow out in my eyes.

After the strength measuring, we go to the apartment where. Glenn was living and take our rest.

While sleeping. I was smiling after knowing that there was still hope.
