29 Paul picked up the phone and dialled his father’s number. It rang eight times before his father picked up. “Hello, Russ speaking.” He sounded breathless. “Did I call at a bad time?” “It’s never a bad time for you to call, but I was talking to a neighbour at the front gate.” Paul would have to go down and visit his dad sometime soon. Before he did that, he was going to tell the family about their grandfather.
