induced Into Delivery

I sat still, numb in my position till a nurse emerged to tell me Dr Tonia was now free. I dragged my heavy self to her office and the moment she set her gaze on my depressed face, she stood from her seat to ask me what was wrong.
“What's wrong? Who hurt you? What happened?” She asked without pausing. My mouth quivered, my eyes staring down at her with profound love.
I don't know if it's because of her genuine show of love or the way she pulled me into a hug, my body weakened in her arm and the tears I was previously trying to hold back freely fell from my eyes.
My bag fell on the floor, the content of the bag including the journal scattered all over the floor, dropping right In Front of Dr Tonia's feet, she picked it up and from my countenance, she could already guess that was the cause of my mood change. She opened it and shock clouded her face as well.
“Don't tell me….” Her voice faded off as she stared at me with pity, “Does this belong to Ethan?”
I nodded, then sniffed.
“Oh my God!!! Ethan actually used you as a Surrogate mother for his fiancee? That's crazy. But before then, can you have your sit?"
I took a step forward but was instantly held back by a pain in my back.
"Holy s**t,"I gritted my teeth while holding on to my back. Dr Tonia panicked, "I think you need to come with me for an ultrasound, let's Check the condition of your baby,” she rubbed on the spot and massaged it for a while.
My body relaxed a little, she helped me to pick up my bag while i followed behind her.
We entered the ultrasound room but I have lost all the motivation to do anything, I just laid soullessly on the bed, waiting for her to do her thing so I could leave. She rubbed a gel on my stomach and began to move the small machine on my stomach. Her movement was slightly ticklish but I was determined to wallow in my sorrow.
I turned my head to the other side in order to prevent myself from looking at the screen. I am sure that if I did, I would probably burst into tears.
Dr Tonia's action went on for minutes until she suddenly gasped, I turned to look at her face and it held joy and excitement.
“I knew it, you are so Strong Selina,” I stared at her face, unable to make sense of what she was saying.
“You are with a triplet,” she yelped with joy, pointing at the screen for me to see. My mouth hung low, my face clouded with shock and surprise.
“Tri… triplet?” I repeated, my breath seized for a while, making my voice come out shaky.
Dr Tonia nodded, her gaze full of love and concern. It was as if my mind was trying to play a trick on me, I adjusted my body a bit and almost instantly, I felt a sharp pain in the bottom area of my stomach.
I gasped and held on to Dr Tonia's coat, the pain began to spread gradually which made me squeeze my face tight.
“What is wrong? Are you okay?”
My forehead was covered with sweat, with me growling and writhing in pain. “My stomach…. So painful, please help me.”
Low whimpers left my mouth as Dr Tonia began to diagnose me, she checked my condition and said something, “I think your emotion induced you into delivery, we need to take you to the delivery room right now. Where is Ethan?”
This question wasn't meant to be asked but I still answered anyways, “No, he is on a business trip.”
A look of pity flashed across Dr Tonia's eyes, she took out her phone from her pocket and placed a call across his assistant. Her phone speaker was. On and no matter how much I tried to overhear the conversation, his last statement entered my ear.
“He is on a vacation with his fiancee.”
That was the straw that broke the camel's back, realization dawned on me and with a sad smile playing on my lips, I relaxed onto the bed.
The call ended seconds later and Dr Tonia already contacted few attending nurses. While they were preparing to wheel me to the delivery room, I tugged at Dr Tonia and mouthed weakly;
”please give him just the twins, he always thought they were two anyways.”
A conflicted look flashed across her eyes but nevertheless, she still noted. She definitely knows the pain and I have been through and this only wish will probably be my comfort. I was wheeled in and injected an anesthetia… that was the last thing I remembered.

Three hours later,
I woke up and met myself in a very dimly lit room, my heart beat increased and at once, I jumped up. This careless action of mine made pain jot across my body, I closed my eyes as tears gathered in my eyes.
Where am I? Almost immediately, the door was pushed open and Dr Tonia entered with a little baby boy, she glanced at her back before closing the door.
She tiptoed up where I laid on the floor and gently placed the baby in my arm.
“Ethan is back with his fiancee and he is insisting on meeting you. I don't think their intention is very pure, that's why I hid you here. From now on, you are no longer Selina…”
My head went blank as I stared at her in daze.
What does she mean? How are my kids?
“Your babies are fine and healthy, they are two boys and a girl. I have a cargo waiting for you behind the clinic, they will drive you to my aunt place, she is the famous lin.”
“Lin? The renowned doctor?” I repeated and she nodded.
I released a puff of air and pulled my baby to my body, my cloth is looking hagard, my hair scattered all over my face but that is not my major issue. Escaping from the ruthless billionaire is my current priority.
I watched a tiny light appear from the door Dr Tonia opened, as I took a step forward, she said something that made me freeze…
"please, don't return to this place, at least till you are ready to fight this battle."
That was the last thing I heard before I was led into the cargo.
