Chapter 15: The Alphas Home

Once Ryland and I get back to the pack house I can feel everyones eyes on me, I must look crazy to them. Ryland leads us to our room but I stop before we cross into the room. He turns and looks at me and I shake my head. "Im not sleeping in there with you, not for a while...." Shock crosses his face but its then replaced with anger. "You what?!" I pull my hand from his and look at him. "I wont be sleeping in there with you. Ryland like I said, I know you have a past I get that but if there is a future between us then youre going to have to prove yourself to me because im the only one proving anything. All you have proved is you had a lot of girlfriends." I watch his eyes flash then he takes a deep calming breath. "So that means you cant sleep in bed with me?" I shake my head. "No, it means youre going to have to earn my trust and my love." I can see he is angry but he doesnt act on it and im grateful. "Okay. Ill prove it to you. Ill win you back Lil I promise." I just nod and he leads me to the room across the hall. I dont know how this is going to go but I can just pray to the goddess that it goes well and that we make it through this in one piece.
