Chapter 7: Honeymoon faze over!

    We stayed locked up in the hotel room for a few more days before Ryland had to get back to his alpha duty's. "You ready to head home?" He asks while packing up the last few things we had laying around. "Yup!" I reply full of excitement. I cant wait to meet his pack. after spending. time with Ryland I cant see how his pack could match the stories while he himself didint. "Good, I know the pack is ready to meet their new Luna. I blush and look back at the beautiful hotel room we are leaving. "And im ready to meet my pack." I say and hold my head high. Being a Luna is just as important as being Alpha. Every sttrong Alpha has to have a strong Luna and im going to show them I have exactly what it takes.

    Once we are on the road I learn that Ryland can NOT sing, but that doesnt stop him from singing Miley Cyrus party in the USA. We sing for at least another 3 hours before he finally tells me we are getting close. I had never got to visit other packs growing up so the only pack I know is his so im bouncing in my seat ready to go. Calm down Lil, we have to show we are strong, ready to lead, not some child on a field trip. My wolf reminds me in my head and I instantly still, knowing she is right. Ryland brings his truck to a stop in front of two huge black gates and presses the intercom button. "Who is it?" A deep voice finally answers. "Its me, now open the gates, I want to go home." Ryland answers just as roughly as the other voice. I stare at him in shock, that voice wasnt the sweet voice he had used while we was at the hotel, that voice was a voice from peoples nightmares. The gates open and we drive through. Ryland shoots me a smile but I cant quite return it, somethings off. As we drive I search the woods and see wolves of different sizes and colors all running around. We was never aloud to change until there was a pack run or a tournament in my fathers pack. After about 20 minutes we come to what looks like a small down and im in shock. "You have a town here?" I ask with awe in my voice. "Yeah, some of our pack mates are a little rough and its easier if everyone can just get what hey need from here on pack lands." Ryland explains and I nod but all I really notice is that his voice is back to being sweet. After another 30 minutes we pull up to a old plantation house and im instantly in love. "This is where you live?" I ask quietly. "Do you like it?" He asks with a smile. "I love it." I say and turn to him. About that time his door swings open and a small black haired woman climbs up into Rylands lap. "RYLAND I MISSED YOU BABY!" She yells and kisses him on the lips. I can do nothing but stare until my wolf takes control and a growl rips out of me. Ryland quickly pushes her off and turns to me. My wolf is in complete control and she is pissed. "Who the f**k is she?" I ask and it doesnt even sound like me. Ryland tries to place a hand on my arm to calm me but I yank it away. :Lilly it isnt what you think, I-" I cut him off with another growl then hop out of the truck. I should have known that Ryland wasnt who I thought. He had some girl back here waiting for me while he made me think like I was the only one but I wasnt. I should have known better. I grab my bags out of the truck and start stalking towards the house. I kick open the door and run straight into a wall, well what felt like a wall. "Excuse you." The man growls out and it just pisses me off more. I look up at this man and my wolf recognizes him as Rylands Beta. "No excuse you! Where in the f**k am I sleeping?" I barely get out with my wolf is in control. I watch his eyes grow wide and he nods and takes off in the other direction and I follow trying to keep up. We reach a big door at the end of the second floor hall and he stops. I can smell Rylands scent all the way from out here. "Im not sleeping in his room where is a guest room?" My voice sounds more normal now. "But youre our Luna. I thought everything was going good." His expression was softer now like he was starting to understand. I shake my head. "I would just like to be alone for a while. It seems your alpha has other things to attend to." I see anger flash through his eyes. The man just nods and starts walking to the other end of the hall and stops at another door. He opens it for me and I thank him. "Anything Luna. My name is Derek." He bows his head a little and then leaves me. I walk into the room and just shut the door when it slams open and a very angry Ryland is on the other side. "What are you doing in here?!" He seethes. I look around the room once more before I lock eyes with him and he shrinks back. "Im not to sure what youre talking about, im in my room." I shrug and toss my bag on the bed. Ryland goes to grab it and I stop him with a growl. "This isnt your room!" He spits out. "Your room is my room!" Gradually his voice rose until he was yelling. I take a step towards him and put my finger in his chest. "Oh but youre wrong! Let me tell you something Ryland!" I spit out his name like it taste bad in my mouth. "I am NOT sleeping in your room. I am Not a f*****g toy for you to play with! I am a female alpha! I deserve respect, ive faught for it my whole life! I thought you was different but I was wrong, so until you can give me the respect I deserve and earn back my trust, you can go f**k your w***e!" Im screaming by the time im done and my chest is rising and falling. Ryland just stands and stares at me. "I thought mates where different, I thought YOU was different, but I guess I was wrong." I turn my back to him and start unpacking.

    Once im done getting my clothes put up I see that Ryland hasnt moved. "She isnt my whore." He finally says and I face him and place my hands on my hips. "Is that so?" I ask trying not to let my temper get the better of me. "She is just a friend Lilly she is nothing else, never has been." My eyes go wide and I cant help the laugh that falls from my mouth. "Of all the things I never pegged you as a liar!" I laugh out. I can see shock in his face at me calling him out. "Im not stupid." I say and turn my back to him again. "Leave Ryland." I say with more power in my voice than I feel. I can hear his footsteps fade away down the hall and I walk over and close the door. Once its closed I sit on the bed and I let the tears start falling. I cry for I dont even know how long when I hear a soft knock on the door. I can tell that it isnt Ryland and I sniff and smell Derek. I try and wipe the tears away and go to open the door. Once I do I can see the worry in his eyes. "Are you okay Luna?" He asks and I can see him assess me for injury's. "Im fine, what can I do for you?" I ask and invite him in but he shakes his head. "I just came to tell you dinner is in 15 minutes, you are to meet the enforcers." I nod. "Can you come get me and walk me down please? I do not want to inter alone." His eyes go wide for a moment before I see a since of pride in his eyes. "Of course Luna, I will be back in 15 minutes." He says and I smile at him. Once he walks away I close the door and decide I want to look my best, just to show Ryland what he is missing. 

    As promised 15 minutes later there is a knock on my door and standing there is Derek. He smiles at me and then turns and starts walking in the other direction and I quickly follow. Once we get to the bottom floor I can hear voices and shouting and I know thats where we are headed. "I am sorry how rowdy they are." Is all Derek says as he opens the door to a large room with several tables around and when we enter the room goes quiet. I slowly follow Derek to my seat and sit. I look around and see that Ryland isnt there. The room stays silent until the large door I came through slams open and a extreamly pissed off Ryland is standing there seething. His eyes lock with mine and a shiver runs down my spine. From the other side of the room I see the black haired girl stand and start to walk to him. I watch with carefully trained eyes. Once she reaches him I can take it. "I challenge you b***h! Now! In wolf form, to the death.!" I growl out not in control anymore and I stand up. Her head snaps to me and I can see she is excited about this. "Good, ive been itching for a good fight!" She yells back and tries to latch onto Ryland but he pushes her away. I catch the sadness in his eyes but he tries to hide it. "Derek where do you fight? Im going to handle Rylands w***e right now." I growl out and Derek starts towards me with a wicked smile on his face. All the men in the room are excited, they want to see their Luna in action and I dont blame them, and I plan on giving them a show. 

    "Youre really going to let her fight me to the death Ryland? I dont want to kill her, you know that!" I hear the b***h whine. Rylands eyes never leave mine and I smile at him. Its a wicked smile, he knows I will win but she doesnt. I turn aorund and I know my eyes are glowing. "Good luck Luna. Its about time someone put Sofie in her place." He sounds excited and my wolf feeds on it. I feel a warm hand on my shoulder and I whip around feeling the loss when it falls away. I look up into Rylands eyes. They are sad and a ping of guilt goes through me. Then I remember her hands on him and what little guilt was there goes away. "Why are you doing this Lil, I told you she is nothing to me." He quietly whispers and i scoff. "Why am I doing this? Ryland im going to show you what happens when you lie to me. If she means nothing then say it where she can hear." I talk back to him in the sweetest voice possible. He steps back and I know ive hurt him but I dont care in this moment. Right now Ryland is about to find out im not some toy for him to play with. "Okay ladies! I want a clean fight, in wolf form! If at any moment I feel someone takes a cheap shot I will intervene!" "Yes Alpha!" Me and Sofie both say and I start to strip. I stretch out my muscles and I watch Sofie change into a small brown wolf. 

    I shift with a loud growl and land on all four paws. I tower over the smaller wolves and I hear all the men watching gasp. I watch Sofie cower at how dominant my wolf is. She recovers quickly though and lunges at me. I dodge and bite her front leg and give it a good shake until I hear a bone snap. She whimpers and backs off as I let her go. I swing my eyes to Ryland and I know I need to end this quickly, he has tears in his eyes and it just hurts me. He obviously has feelings for Sofie. She comes at me again and I decide this needs to be over. I dodge her and grip her back leg until she gives me a opening for her neck and I take my opportunity. I feel my teeth grip around her neck and blood pools in my mouth as she tries to submit, my wolf wont let her though. My wolf locks eyes with Ryland as she bites down just a little harder until I hear a snap and she goes limp. I drop her to the ground and as she falls I watch tears fall down his cheeks and I instantly am filled with sadness and regret. This isnt me, I dont know what happened. I slowly back away from the body and take off into the woods. I cant look at Ryland anymore, I cant take seeing his tears.
