My wolf.
I have been trying to reach her through our mind link but nothing.
What's happening?
Was she angry with me?
Did I say something wrong?
I have been trying all day to connect but nothing.
No feedback. It was as though she was not there.
I can feel her but her silence creeps me out.
"Talk to me. I need you, please answer me," I said to my wolf but there was no response.
"Are you there? Can you hear me?"
"Should we run?"
That was something she'd always loved. Going for a run but this time around, she wasn't in for the fun.
She kept mute all of the time and I became worried.
I found my way into the woods through our secret route and I sat there waiting for her to speak to me.
I could hear growling from a distance.
At first, I thought my wolf was playing the echo game with me but that wasn't her.
It was coming from the east side.
I traced the sound. This would have been faster if my wolf was communicating with me.
I met a few wolves in the woods. My fellow Omegas.
Growling in pain. Attempt to have a full shift.
I was already seeing bruises on their skin. Some even had injuries while snapping their necks to shift.
"This is hard," I said to myself.
I could lose my life if I forced my way too much.
These girls had a great connection with their wolves yet having a hard time to get the full shift.
I walked away silently so they wouldn't notice me.
I kept walking in the woods. Talking to myself.
Whilst doing that, my past flashed before me once again and a tear dropped from my left eye.
I miss my parents. I miss the love and affection I enjoy from them.
I miss everything called family.
A sensation sprang inside of me pushing me back to the reality in front of me.
Shit! I was lost. I looked back to see thicker trees.
How long was I walking?
How did I get here?
I hissed.
How do I find my way back now?
My wolf wouldn't even answer me.
"I know you can hear me. I am lost. I need your help."
No response still.
I scanned around and I noticed something.
This wasn't our territory.
Oh goddess! Please don't tell me it is what I am thinking
"Am I in Dorgedom? The witch wolves territory?"
In the blink of an eye, I felt a shadow move behind me.
The movement was swift and I couldn't catch it.
I didn't wait.
Goddess forbid I wait!
Immediately, I ran.
I didn't look back.
I kept running hoping to see a river.
I remember Mother saying a river usually divides wolves' territories.
I kept running for hours but there was no sign of any river.
I lost focus and hit my head on a tree.
My adrenaline was high.
I stood up immediately and again I felt that shadow approaching me from behind.
Fuck! It's a monster running towards me.
I took to my heels.
I couldn't even scream. Fear had overtaken me and the only thing I wanted to do was get back safely to the pack.
A river. I see a river from afar.
"Yes!"
That must be the border of Rodgers Pack. I'm close. I just need to run a bit more.
I could hear snarling and growling behind me as I ran.
I didn't bother to look back.
I just kept running for my life.
I can't die now.
Not today. Not this hour when I am this close to safety.
And just in the die minute, I felt my legs were becoming weak.
I am done for if I stop running.
That monster would definitely catch up to me and I am gone.
My knees started to hurt and my vision was becoming blurry while I ran.
I could already feel my legs failing me and my sight leaving me behind.
Pssst!
"Run!" I heard a sharp voice from within.
Whatever it was, it woke me up and my energy went back to full bar.
My weak knees became strong all of a sudden and I could feel some inner strength swelling inside me.
"Where is this coming from?"
Am I imagining?
Maybe I had fallen and the monster had eaten me and now I am just hallucinating?
"Its time to show you my true form!" my wolf said to me.
Finally!
I thought she was gone.
My wolf. Just the right time. That was her. She made me stronger all of a sudden.
The link had never been this strong.
Her voice became clearer and sharper. It was like I was speaking but not me.
Confusing but true.
We got past the river and I could see familiar things that were Rodgers's.
Yes! We made it back to the pack territory.
I felt the shadow retreat but funnily I didn't stop running or pause to look back.
My mind drifted back to the statement made by my wolf earlier.
"True form?"
"What did she mean by that?"
And right there, a surge flowed through my veins and I felt myself changing.
It wasn't just the claws or the hairy skin.
It was snaps. Lots of snaps and transformations.
Oh goodness. A full shift!
I became a full wolf right in daylight.
My first time seeing my wolf.
Ita furs. The pride. The feeling.
It was unbelievable.

Standing before Lord Oculus and Alpha Cain Rodgers who had summoned me after my shift caused a glow in the Ocular Orb.
The mating ceremony had begun.
The excitement in my eyes as I stared at the handsome Alpha.
Having ignore the fact that he forced himself with me, I look forward to hearing the big news from him.
Pronouncing me as his mate.
The way he suddenly looks at me like he didn't recognize me
He scoffed.
"Wait, Belinda Stock as in the daughter of Linc and Rose, Belinda Stock?" He said all of a sudden.
"No! Never! Not in my lifetime. I can't be mated to that murderer!"
My feet trembled.
"No, my Alpha. That accusation was false. I am innocent,"
"Quiet. Listen……" he moved closer.
"I reject you!"
