Chapter1
"What am I doing here?" Natalie's initial thought,
The effects of the medication were still distorting her perception when she woke up in a foggy mist of confusion and disorientation.
When her vision cleared, she was back in a posh hotel bedroom with the expensive cologne scent filling the room like an overly sweet perfume.
Beside her lay a stranger, his face hidden by the dim illumination.
Natalie's veins filled with fear as the events of the night before poured over her in a torrent of remorse and confusion.
She recoiled in horror, realizing she had been used and controlled like a pawn in Clara's cruel game of deception.
In a frenzy, Clara rushed to the room, horrified by what she saw unfolding.
"Natalie, what have you done?" she shrieked, her voice a mixture of panic and feigned innocence.
Before Natalie could gather herself to depart the scene of her humiliation, the door swung open with a thunderous bang, displaying her father and her fiance, their faces twisted with rage and disgust.
"Natalie," her fiancé cursed, his voice heavy with disappointment and hate.
"I trusted you. How could you betray my love for you in the worst possible way?"
Natalie, now fully aware of the trap set by her step-sister, struggled to explain herself.
"I can explain, Ethan," she said quietly, tears welling in her eyes as she approached him.
"What more is there to say?" Clara remarked angrily.
"Natalie, you are a disgrace to me, and I disown you," her father proclaimed.
Marco, awakened by the commotion, was startled to find Natalie in his room.
"Who are you people? What are you all doing here?" he demanded, his voice sharp with confusion and concern.
They all turned silently to him before slamming the door shut and leaving.
Natalie knew her life would never be the same again. With tears streaming down her face and heartbreak, she realized that her world had indeed crumbled.
The happiness and anticipation of her wedding day had been replaced by betrayal, confusion, and a future fraught with uncertainty.
She had been expelled from her family, her image damaged, and her future shattered into irreparable pieces.
As her father's angry comments resonated in her ears, Natalie discovered she was all alone, abandoned to sailing the perilous waters of treachery and heartbreak.

Let's flashback to the day before the incident, when Natalie was joyful and preparing for her wedding.
Natalie Amster stood in front of the elaborate mirror in her childhood bedroom, the satin robe flowing over her figure in glittering folds.
Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she thought of her upcoming wedding, anticipation boiling within her like bubbly Champagne.
Little did she realize that her world was going to fall at the hands of the one she most trusted.
Clara, Natalie's step-sister, entered the room with a brilliant smile as the last touches were being made to her bridal gown.
"Natalie, darling, you look positively radiant," Clara cooed, her voice full of syrupy honey.
But underlying her facade was a seething envy, which would soon rear its ugly head.
Clara devised a heinous scheme just days before the wedding, motivated by jealously and rage.
She devised a sophisticated plan to undermine Natalie's happiness while also securing her own place in the family spotlight and having Ethan all to herself.
Clara hosted Natalie's pre-wedding even under the pretense of sisterly care.
As the party began and Natalie became distracted, Clara took advantage of the chance to put a powerful sedative into Natalie's cocktail, rendering her defenceless and susceptible to Clara's whims.
Natalie excused herself to use the loo as her eyes grew heavy and her senses faded, allowing Clara an opportunity to carry out her plan.
In her drugged and confused state, Natalie stumbled into the room where Marco, was staying.
She entered, hoping to find solace or a moment of respite from the chaos of the party.
Marco, who was also drunk, mistook Natalie for a lady he had requested his assistant to arrange for him to spend the night with.
As Natalie entered the room, Marco grabbed to kiss her, but Natalie, still under the influence of the sedative and not fully aware of her surroundings, mumbled words, trying to explain that she had been led there mistakenly.
Marco, however, grabbed her arm, pulled her closer, and started kissing. In that situation, Natalie, feeling helpless and unable to resist due to the drug, eventually gives in to Marco’s desire.
They both slept off thereafter and that leads to the earlier scene.

Fast-forward to the present, hours later, with her heart heavy and her spirit broken, Natalie decided to confront Ethan by visiting him at his house.
She found him sitting in the garden with Clara, who was talking to him.
His face immediately frowned when he saw her.
“What are you doing here?” he yelled.
“Leave right now, you b***h!” he screamed.
“Please, give me a chance to explain, Ethan. I’m innocent, please believe me,” Natalie begged.
Clara watched the argument between them and eventually interfered, telling Natalie to go away and let Ethan calm down before she explained.
“Don't stick your nose in my business!” Natalie yelled at Clara.
"Aren't you the one who started this?" Tears streamed down her face.
"Do not blame me, I don't understand what you talking about,” Clara pretended not to comprehend.
Natalie wanted to fire back at Clara but was stopped by Ethan’s words.
“Do you want to accuse innocent people now, too?”
“Natalie, you are shameless. You shouldn't even face me again.
I don't want to see you ever again, and the wedding is off.” he said angrily.
Before Natalie could say anything, Ethan left her in the garden and went inside, with Clara following him.
Natalie was left alone, in despair.
She left Ethan's home, her heart heavy with the echo of her father's harsh words from earlier.
As she walked, the weight of his rejection crushed her spirit, making it impossible to face him again.
She spent eight grueling days rambling the streets by herself, bewildered, and without a place to stay.
Her life had turned into a nightmare, with no one to turn to for support.
An increasing sense of desperation drove her as she drifted along the trail, a dark urge becoming stronger to plunge into the ocean to end her torment.
A hand grabbed her and pulled her back just as she was about to jump into the sea.
