Alex They parked a mile away from the location. She still hadn’t explained the significance of the place yet. It was down a dirt road leading to a field. She said she hadn’t been to this place since she left it behind. The large trees with coverage blended with flashes of a distant memory to Alex. Only, it was darker. There was a shooting pain that started behind Alex’s eye and spread upward in his head. “Alex, are you alright?” He was covering one eye while he winced in pain. “Just a headache.” They dropped Gabe and Katelyn off a few miles back.
