About The Book
After Freya Floresca's mother died beside her from a gunshot, it wasn't easy for her to continue living having to endure the trauma all by herself. The only thing that keeps her going is the idea of the woman she’ll become if she wouldn’t choose to give up. Despite being suicidal, there’s still some comforting words at the back of her head that keeps her going.
However, her older sister got seeds of hatred planted in her mind instead of being grateful that Freya was saved to death.
Both physical and verbal abuse became Freya's breakfast and dinner— yet her sister wasn't satisfied and made her work at the club every Saturday night, wherein Freya must dance dirty to get paid... all because her sister kept blaming her for the death of their mother and she wants Freya to keep the blame and suffer.
One Saturday night, someone pulled her out of her job's place. The only person that made her feel that escaping from her sister's cruelty will make her have the will to live fully again, instead of seeking for her sister's validation and attention.
When Zephyr Silvestre comes into her life, she knows she's in trouble for falling in love with her best friend's ideal man. Nevertheless, she knows she'd welcome any trouble she'll get for wanting him in her life. Realizing that being selfish is not bad at all. Believing that it's all gonna be worth it. Trusting that being with her anchor will save her from her misery... but how long can she choose him over everything if a hidden truth will suddenly emerge that can possibly make their love forbidden?
