Chapter 9- You never said it

Derek POV

 Natalia told Max, that was a surprise, but I think it’s a good thing, she can finally confined in someone about what happened, I couldn’t be that one without leading her on, I’m not a fool, I know how she feels about me, and I couldn’t mislead her like that, she has been through enough.

Now I have to find Alexandria, I didn’t miss how she tensed or her raised eyebrow when I told Natalia that I’ll be checking on her, I won't’ lie, I like it when she is jealous, she has been pushing me away for so long, sometimes I feel like maybe she doesn’t love me like I think she does, that she could one day leave, like she threatened so many times before.

“Bedroom, Mate is upset, you are an i***t”

“Why the hell am I the i***t alone? We are one, remember?”

“Not this time, you are on your own” Rex the asshole says with a f*****g wolfish grin if that is even possible.

I enter our room and like the d**k said, she is there, curled up on the big chair next to the window in nothing but a black shirt, thank the goddess this time it’s mine, her dark hair is flowing down in soft waves and her brown eyes catching the sunset, makes it almost glow, she is sensational.

She reminds me of that night when she came to my room and we made love for the first time, we made love all night… then she punched me in the face and gave me a nose bleed…but I deserved that.

“Hey, Love” I say going to her and she snaps out of whatever she was thinking about finally noticing I was here.

“Derek, you are finally back” she says a little irritated, Finally?!

“What are you talking about? It was just few minutes” I ask confused, It’s been like fifteen minutes tops.

“Whatever, so how is Natalia?”,

“She is fine I guess, she and Max are getting real close… maybe it’s a good thing” I say leaning on the wall next to the window she is sitting by with my hands crossed.

“Yes, I’ve noticed, first she steals my best friend and now you” she says fully irritated now, What the f**k?

“Love, where the hell is this coming from? No one can steal me from you” I say straightening up now and inching closer to her.

“That’s why you were so concerned and went to check on your girlfriend”,

“Girlfriend? You are my only girlfriend” I say shrugging not really taking this seriously,

“Oh, so I’m just a girlfriend now, I thought I was your mate”,

“Well, technically” I try to joke to lighten the mood, big mistake.

“Don’t you dare make a joke right now; I swear to god I’ll f**k you up” she yells standing up from her chair.

“Wow, Alexandria, you need to calm down love… what the hell is going on?”,

“I’m… I just…I’m sorry” she says as she falls back in her chair,

“What’s going on? Talk to me” I say I kneeling in-front of her and hold both her hands,

“I don’t know, I just got jealous, I know it doesn’t make sense but I just did… I guess meeting my mom messed me up a little, brought up all the insecurities, like I’m not worth to be loved or cared for” she says avoiding my eye.

“I know the feeling” I say dry chuckling.

“Yes, your dad did try to kill you… more than once” she says like she is counting in her head how many time the fucker actually tried to kill me.

“And my mate made me reject her” I say with a pointed look.

“And I regretted it every day ever since” she says looking straight into my eyes.

“When it comes to me and how I feel about you, you should never have any doubts or insecurities Ria, I love you and I’ll never stop loving you” I say caressing her cheek and she looks surprised, why is she surprised?

“Why do you look surprised? Have I ever given you reason to doubt that?” I say frowning my eyebrows.

“No… you just never said it before” she says her eyes still wide in shock.

“What? Of cours I di-”,

“No, you didn’t, we didn’t” Rex cuts me off.

“Oh, s**t, we are such idiots”.

“Can’t argue with that”.

“Is that what this is all about? You think I don’t love you?” I say feeling like s**t for ever making her feel like that,

“No, I know you do at some level … it’s just different when you finally admit it out loud” she says with a soft smile,

“Some level? Alexandria I don’t just love you, I’m crazy about you, I’ve been in love with you ever since I overheard you curse me at your job” I say chuckling.

“Don’t remind me that was embarrassing” she says covering her face.

“That was glories my dear” I say moving her hands away from her face and taking them in mine again.

“I love every single thing about you, even your sailor mouth … and your kind heart, your stubborn yet wise mind, how you kick ass and take names then switch to gentle and caring in a second like it’s nobody’s business, and let’s not forget your perfect double Ds” I say the last part with my eyes drifting to them.

“you perv” she says swatting me playfully.

“Alexandria Salvatore, I love you to the point that I can hardly breathe when I think you truly are mine; I can’t imagine anybody loving anyone more that I love you… I would move worlds for you, I would sacrifice my own soul just to see you smile, I can’t imagine living for one day without you near, just the thought of that kills me…and I want to shout to the whole world that this magnificent creature, this one of a kind, from all the men in the world, chose me, loves me… you do love me right?” I just realized she never said it too.

“More than I ever loved any one in my life, you are the love of my life Derek” she says with tears brimming her eyes and I feel… complete, simply complete.

“So will you stay with me forever?”,

“Yes, Forever” she answer letting her tears fall freely down her cheeks.

“What is that?” she asks as I pull the box I’ve been walking with in my pockets for months now.

“Will you marry me, my Luna?” I anxiously ask.

“Yes, I will my Alpha” she answers without hesitation,

I slip the pear shaped diamond ring on her finger, Rex Howls in celebration, I crash my lips to hers and I carry her as she wraps herself around me, we slam into the wall next to the window just missing the damn thing ,

We decide to move this to the bed … I don’t know how or when, but piece by piece our clothes disappeared before we even reach the bed, I lay her down and my hands slowly roam every inch of her body like I’m trying to memorize it, my mouth kisses her soft skin and her moans is music to my ears.

She pulls my hair as she devours my mouth, she is insatiable and I’m here to fill her hunger,

I flip her over, her back to my chest, I kiss her neck as one of my hands caresses her luscious breast while the other slowly slides down her torso and to her core, she opens her legs further for me, I dig my fingers deeper and her head falls back to my shoulder moaning.

“Derek” she calls out of breath.

“Hmmm” I answer softly biting her ear.

“Mark me” she says with resolution and I stop what I’m doing surprised,

“But we don’t know how it will work, what about the consequences?”,

“f**k the consequences; I want to be fully yours”,

She doesn’t have to say it twice; I flip her again, hovering over her, tasting her lips,

“Are you sure?” I ask one final time, 

“Yes” she says kissing me as eagerly,

without hesitation I thrust deep inside her with a growl and she screams in satisfaction, we fit perfectly together melting into one, falling into a rhythm, her moans gets louder and I know she is getting close because I’m right there with her.

Rex is on the surface sharing this moment with me, we kiss her soft spot, our marking spot; we graze the skin with our fangs which makes her moans even louder.

“Do it” she commands and we oblige,

We sink our fangs deep into her skin and her moans turns into screams of delight.

Both our bodies shake as tingles erupt all over our skin, it feels like a barrier has just been lifted and we are finally one, our bond is restored, our bond is complete.

“MATE” Rex growls after we retract our fangs and lick her wound shut.

We hold each other even tighter, never wanting to let go as we both reach our climax together and it feels like a never ending pleasure.

We finally come down from our high, lying facing each other out of breath,

“I love you, Derek… My fiancé, my alpha, my mate” she says with a bright smile.

“I love you, my bride, my Luna, my mate” I say running the tips of my fingers up and down her body, enjoying the tingles that I didn’t know I missed.

A surprise feeling of discomfort starts to creep up my body, I ignore it at first but it starts to feel like my blood is boiling inside my veins.

“Derek, are you okay? Why are you in pain? I can feel it” she says almost in a panic,

“I don’t know what’s happening” I say through gritted teeth, holding myself, I really don’t know what’s going on? Wasn’t the marking supposed to affect her not me?

“I’ll call Dean” she jumps off bed and to her phone, seconds later and there is a knock on the door, she better be wearing some pants before she answers that damn door,

 Dean, Dylan, Sophia and even f*****g Max come in, thankfully my mate is dressed,

Yes, excruciating pain and that’s what I’m thinking about, I’m a possessive alpha, sue me.

They all come running towards me when all of a sudden Alexandria falls to the ground holding her head and screaming in pain.

Oh, no… consequences.
