The Alphas' Chimaera

Hospital Visit

I open my eyes to a white room with stock photo paintings and in the most pain I have ever felt. I let out a grown as i tried to move and sit up. A hand was placed firmly on my chest and gently pushed me down back to the bed. "Lay down, you need to rest, Doc is on her way." i was startled when i didn't recognize the mans voice. i turn my head to see who the stranger is and am shocked to see this gorgeous 6'6" man with deep black hair and one solid white stripe in his bangs. he had the most beautiful blue eyes and was looking very muscular in a tight black shirt and a pair of shorts. 

"Who are you?" I ask with my heart racing. "Elias Axton, Alpha of the Shadow pack."  My jaw almost dropped. what was my pack Alpha doing visiting me in the hospital? Before i could ask he started to speak again. "You guys were attacked by rogues and as George and Fredrick chased a couple off and  into the woods but managed to get the messaged to me in time. I got there just in time before that rouge had made a snack of you. I'm sorry that you first day back in the pack put you into harms way."

i blush at the thought of the Alpha coming to my rescue. Before i could ask or say anything the doors came in and an Older Women in a white coat came in followed by a young man in scrubs. the Doc gives me a smile as the nurse tries to step between Elias and I. "Kassandra Kane...." was all she managed to get out before Elias let out a growl. we all snap our attention towards Elias who had the nurse pressed against a wall. "Mine" he growled out and the nurse submitted and apologized. "Alpha, respectfully, can you set him down? I need him to check her vitals as i inform her of the situation." Doc said calmly. Elias hesitantly dropped the man and he hurried off to start checking my blood pressure and such with nervous hands as Elias eyes prier into the back of his skull. 

"Kassandra, I am Doctor Jenny Jenkins but call me Doc everyone does." i nodded in understanding. "You suffered from major whiplash and a blow to the head, you also dislocated your wrist in the fall. we have given you something for the pain but other then that you need to rest and you will be fine by the morning. Thank the Moon Goddess for that werewolf healing." she smiles. "Thank you Doc. where are my parents?" i ask and her smile fades a bit. " Your father is currently in surgery from the injuries he has sustained in the fight. Your mother hit her head hard and there was some swelling. she hasn't woken up yet but she is fine and we expect her to good by morning as well." she tried to comfort me and at the point i started to cry but continue to try and keep my emotions in check. The nurse finishes and gives Doc a thumbs up. "Okay Kassandra you are good to go. I trust that Alpha here will be able to get you to the Pack house safely. Get some rest, eat something and try not to worry, we will give you a call if anything changes." she smiles rubbing my leg gently. "Thank you, Doc. please take good care of my parents." i say choking on tears that I'm trying to hold in. 

Elias picks me bridal style and holds me close to his chest. I instantly feel safe and comfort and buried my face into his chest trying to hid the tears. "Thanks Doc, be sure to call with any news, no mater the time." Elias says. "Just doing my job Alpha. I will be sure that you will be the first to be notified in the event of a change." 

Elias was happy with and carried me out. of the building with tears still flowing. time flies to  fast when you are not paying attention and just crying into a mans chest. I didn't even notice that we enter a building and i was being set down on a bed. "Where am I?" i ask breathing heavily  as i have run out of tears to cry. he kisses the top of my head and wipes the tears that had gathered on my face. "This is my room, you will stay here. lay down and get some rest." he says helping me to lay down. 

"Why are you being so nice to me?" i ask " I mean you are the Alpha, you don't need to personalty watch over me yourself. I am not that important." i continue. "Don't speak like that you are my everything and the most important person in the world to me, You are my mate and  would never let another person take care of you." He said defensively. He leans down to try and kiss me and just before he could the door flies open and grabs our attention. She is a smoking hot blonde and she doesn't seem to notice me.  " Elias!" she screeched and jumping onto him giving him a wet hot kiss. 

i could feel what little tears i had left in my body flood up and I'm out of bed and the room before i could witness anything else.  It felt like someone tore my heart out. I thought i had found my mate and it turns out he already has someone. i stumble way into the kitchen and there sits another man alone eating a bowl of cereal. 

He looks very concerned and drops everything and makes his way to me. "Mate, whats wrong?" i feel oddly calm and very confused. "You are the second person to call me mate today." i say falling into him craving a hug.
