Chapter - 125 - Steev fell Sick

Steev's POV

The next day when I was going to meet Shika, it would be the deciding the day about Shika's truthfulness towards me. I know it would be too much to judge someone with that all probably it would be a very silly think to do but it was really a sensitive topic and I was really confused and I was not aware what was correct or not was not, so neither of us knew what was correct, that is why what came on our minds we were just going on ok following them and also thinking that what was going on our minds only would be the right thing to do. However we did not have any elders support or any experienced persons support during the situation that is why we had to guide ourselves and follow what our mind and heart told us to do. We were really brave enough to figure out things by ourselves and try to follow them and try to solve the situation.

We had reached our house and just got freshen up after coming back from Sophia's home and then we realised we had nothing to have for our lunch. We had to prepare something to eat. The time was all most 2:00 p m. and we had not yet prepared anything for our lunch so we were wondering what to be done next. " Hey John shall we order our lunch today? " , I asked. " Order? why Aren't we preparing anything today? " , said John. " We can prepare but I am really not in mood for any work. That's why I said that. We can prepare our dinner later but now for lunch let's order something. Please John. " , I requested. " Hmm.. okay Steev, as you wish. Let's order today's lunch. " , said John. " Thank you John. " , I said. " John could you please check the online menu and order for both of us? " , I asked. " Yes Steev, sure I will do that. You please relax. " , said John. " Yes John sure. " , I replied. John did all the work from checking the menu till ordering the food. I was glad that I had John with me. It was 2:30 p m and I saw that our lunch had arrived. I was really very hungry. I quickly went out of the room and took the parcel from the delivery guy. And then I thanked him as well. And then the guy left. The payment was made through online so I did not have to pay him anything. I brought the parcel and called John, " Hey John, come on our food has arrived. " John was in the washroom. By the time John came out of the washroom I had already opened the package and served it in our plates. " Wow you already served the food for us. That's good. " , said John. " Yes John, because I am very hungry and I am unable to wait even for a minute anymore, I was waiting for you to come. " , I said. " Oh is it, Steev, you do not wait for me you start having your food. I will wai wash my hand and come. " , said John. John went to wash his hands and I started having my lunch. The lunch was really tasty. I was very hungry that's why I was continuously having the food without giving a proper pause. The food items were rice, dal, Papad, rasam, and pickle. And that was the best food combination I could say. I really enjoyed my food a lot. John too joined me. John and I sat together and had our south Indian food and it was amazing. I decided to have South Indian food even more often there after. We both sat and finished our food. It was all most 3:00 p m. " John shall we have a nap? " , I asked. " Why are you behaviour a bit weird? " , asked John. " I don't know I'm just saying whatever I am feeling within me. " , I said. " Okay Steev , sure let's have a nap. And when we get up we would be fresh and active. " , said John. " yes John you are right that's what I was thinking too. " , I said. I was really behaving in a unusual way that day.

There was one more huge matter that had sat on my head and I was too much worried about that. I was worried of losing Shika. I did not want to lose Shika at any cost because she was someone really special for me and being far from here was feeling really impossible for me. None of them told me to be away from her but what if Shika hides the matter and acts cunning. Ovbiously John and Sophia would be asking me about what Shika told, and if I say that Shika acted cunning then they would really have a bad impression on Shika, it would be really bad thing to happen. How much I was worried about friendship with Sophia, more than that I was worried of losing Shika. I was in a situation where I had to handle two kinds of relationships and it was never easy.

After few minutes John and I laying down to take a nap. I knew taking a nap would be helpful for us to get a bit fresh. It was 3:15 p. m. when we slept.

* Few hours ago *

It was 5:30 p. m. and I was hearing John's voice, he was calling my name and trying to wake me up. " Hey Steev, wake up it's allmost late. " , said John. I got up. " John, what happened? " , I said. " It is 5:30 p. m. I too woke up just now. So thought of waking you up as well. " , said John.

" Thank you bro. " , I said. " How are you feeling now? " , asked John. " I don't know bro I'm not feeling fine. Something weird and tired kind of. " , I said. John touched my forehead and tried to check if I had fever. After checking John said, " Hey steev, you are having fever. Oh God. " " What? oh no, why fever... " , I said in sadness. " John, why are you taking everything too seriously too much is too bad, now you are seeing the results of over thinking right. " , said John. " My thoughts are not in my control right. " , I said. " I agree thinking is not in your control not thinking and thinking too much has difference and thinking too much can be controlled by you Steev. " , said John. " Hmm.. okay. " , I said. I was too tired and had no energy to talk about anything. " come let's go to the doctor. " , said John. " No John, I have table for fever. It is in my wardrobe, I will have that. " , I said. " Why are you doing this, can't you just come with me to the doctor? " , he asked. " Please please please John, listen to me. " , I said. " Okay fine. First I will prepare something to eat, you have it and then I will give you the table. " , John said. After that John went to the kitchen to prepare something to eat. Until then I layed down as I had no energy for anything. But I had decided that no matter what the next day definitely I would be going to meet Shika at any cost. At least to meet her I had to be fine for next day. I needed that energy in me to go out, meet her and speak to her. John had advised me not to think too much but still there was lot of things pending to be planned about. I had to think about two important scenarios. Firstly, what if Shika hides the truth from me and secondly what if Shika tells the truth to me. I knew it sounded Silly but I had no other choice. By the time John arrived. " Hey, why do I feel that you are thinking something too deeply? what is the matter? " , John said. " Yes, don't be angry but I am thinking something important. " , I said. " Important? what is that? tell me too. " , said John. " I have to prepare for two kinds of seniors, Firstly, what if Shika hides the truth from me and secondly what if Shika tells the truth to me. " , I said. " What, are you serious. Don't you feel it's too silly to think that way? To be honest it is meaningless. " , John replied. I knew whatever I was talking was meaningless but I was feeling all that because I was not well or I fell sick because I was thinking all that I had no freaking idea about that. I was stressing myself a lot with that I was giving lot of stress for John as well. I was aware about that but somewhere I was not that strong enough I felt where I could control my emotions and also tell John that how brave I was. the next day I had to meet Shika and try to clear out all the matter but unfortunately I was sick that day but I decided being sick is nothing for me being sick cannot change what had been already decided or plan even though I was unwell I would take medicine and get fit by the next day so that I could meet Shika and clear the matter. " Sorry John. " , I said. " Don't say sorry to me. Feel sorry for yourself. You are sick today because of you only. " , said John. " yes John I know. You are right. " , I said. " Steev, I will go to shop and get Bread or bun. I will prepare delicious food for you. So please take care of yourself. I will be right back. Okay? " , said John. " Yes John, you please go to shop and come. I will take care of myself. " , I said. After that John left for shop. Being alone was not easy for me because as soon as I would be alone I would start thinking something random but at that situation there was nothing to think about randomly because there was lot and lot of things to think about.

The main thing that was on my head was that I had to keep one explanation for myself for both the scenarios that I had created, if I would not think and find answer for my own questions then definitely I would never be fine I felt so I decided it was right time to sit or lay down and solve the puzzle which I had created by my own self. I began my thoughts. The first scenario was what if Shika hides the matter from me and what if she lies to me? Then what would happen? what should be my reaction? what should be my reply for her lie? first of all how should I start asking her about whatever she spoke to Sophia? all these questions were filled inside the scenario one. John and Sophia would tell me something like, I can directly go and tell to Shika whatever happened, whatever Sophia told us and just wait for Shika's reply and then answer according to the situation but it for me it was not that easy because it was Shika.

, it was not someone else, it was not some stranger with whome I could randomly talk or answer accordingly. Shika was someone special for me and that's why I decided I need to be prepared I should not hurt her, I should solve the situation with that I should never hurt her as well. So that was something tricky matter but the reality no one else would understand that but accept me, I thought. And I decided not to ask anyone's help regarding that but to sit and solve it by myself. Because I knew the situation and knew what should be my outcome. So it would be easy for me.
