Steev’s POV:
I wondered why he said it was a big day. I thought first let me get up and fresh up and then I will ask him.
I got up with mixed feelings. I was confused that should I be happy that Shika came in my dream or should I worry about how weird the dream was.
Mean while I brushed my teeth and washed my face. While I was wiping my face I could sense the smell of fried eggs. When I went to check I discovered that John had prepared egg sandwich for both of us for breakfast. He saw me coming and said in a funny manner, “Oh you came.. look I have prepared egg sandwich for us.. You dreamed that Shika prepared a tasteless sandwich for you so I prepared a better one. Have it. (laughing)
“Please don’t make fun of Shika!!”, I said.
“Oh come on Steev, making fun is common between friends.. isn’t it?, he replied.
“Okay.. okay.. now let us have our yummy breakfast”, I said.
Then we stared having our breakfast. “Mmm it’s really yummy”, I told.
“Thank you.. Thank you.. “, he replied.
While we were just having our breakfast and having fun, John got a phone call, he picked and replied, “He will reach there by 11 AM sir… Thank you”. And disconnected the call.
I asked John with puzzled face, “Whom were you talking about? And where the person have to go by 11 AM?”, I started questioning him.
He replied with a smiling face, “There is a job interview today and you have attend it buddy”.
I was excited and nervous at the same time. “Why didn’t you tell me in advance? ” , I asked John.
“I came to know about it yesterday. You were excited and busy with something else yesterday, so I did not tell you yesterday. I thought of telling you in the morning. I am sure you will make it this time boy”. He explained and motivated me.
“Oh I see.. That’s okay John. By the way thank you. I will do my best today and please give me the job description”, I replied.
“Good luck buddy, show your skills and grab this job”, he encouraged me while sending me the job details to my phone.
He explained me the job description and gave me the address. The job was in a furniture company and it was a very huge company and the salary package also was good.
I was just hoping and praying to get that job.
It was 9 AM already. The place where the interview was going to be held was half an hour far from our room by bus. So I had nearly 1 hour to prepare for the interview. I sat down to get prepared.
John was busy getting ready to go to his work. He was working in a software company. He had to be there by 10 AM, so he got ready and wished me luck and left for his work. He said, “All the best Steev, I know you will come back with victory today. Stay strong and be confident”.
“Thank you John”, I replied.
“Okay bye Take care”, he said.
“Bye John see you”, I replied and then he left.
I continued preparing for the interview. I was busy preparing and then when I saw the time it was 10 AM already.
So I got up and started getting ready. I took shower and carried all the documents which were needed.
I was all set to go. I prayed to God for my success and then walked outside the room. I locked the room and started walking towards the bus stand. Bus stand was just 2 minutes away from our room.
I reached the bus stand and stood there waiting for my bus. While I was standing in the bus stand I started thinking what might be Shika doing right now.
Then I realized let me first concentrate on today’s interview then later on I have lot of time to think about Shika.
