Chapter 12-Last Day at the Cabin

Emilia's P.O.V

The sun shined bright through the window shining right in my face making me wake up, I covered my face with my pillow to block out the light. I groaned at the sound of the alarm going off, I tried to reach past Michael to shut it off but he had his arm tight around my waist so I couldn't move. "Michael" I shoved him but that him tighten his grip on me. "Ugh" I threw my head back down then grabbed my pillow and smacked him in the head with it.

"Huh, what?" he shot up in bed.

"Finally" I laughed at him then pointed to the alarm clock.

"Oh, sorry" he leaned over behind him and shut off the alarm then turned back around to face me, I was already sitting on the edge of the bed. "Where are you going?" he tried to pull me back onto the bed.

"I'm going to take a shower" I said getting up off the bed.

"Do you have to?" he gave me a pouty look, I just laughed at him.

"We have a long day ahead of us today, it's our last day here and I want to make the best of it" I leaned down and kissed his cheek.

"Can't we just stay in bed together all day?" he was really trying to get me back in bed but I wasn't going to fall for it.

Rachel's P.O.V

I wake up with the sun shining brightly through the window, I feel something heavy on my waist. I look down and see an arm lying over my waist, I turn to see Emmett laying next to me still asleep. I turn my body around so I'm face to face with him, I gently rub him cheek with the back of my hand. He slowly opens his eyes and smiles at me.

"Good morning gorgeous" he places a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Morning" I caress his cheek with my hand.

"What would you like to do today?" he asks me caressing my cheek with his hand.

"I think Emily has something planned for everybody today" I tell him.

"Do we have to participate?" he pulls me closer nuzzling his face into my neck.

"As much as I would like to stay in bed with you all day I think she would kill us if we bailed on her" I told him wrapping my arms around my his neck, he flipped me over onto my back with his body hovering over me.

"I guess we better make the most of this moment then before she comes for us" he kissed my lips. He moved off the bed and headed into the bathroom, I heard the shower turn on then he came back into the bedroom. "I can walk" I said as we entered the bathroom and he placed me on the counter.

"I know" he winked at me then turned to the shower testing the water making sure the water is perfect. He turned back to picking me up off the counter and stepping into the shower, once in the shower me sets me down he slowly backs us up under the shower head. I washed his body when he was done with mine, he got out of the shower and grabbed a towel wrapping it around his waist then grabbed another one wrapping it around my torso. He carried me back into the bedroom placing me on the bed then stepping into the closet, he came out of the closet with clothes for me. He gave me my clothes then went back into the closet, I got dress while he dressed in the closet. He came back into the room and pulled me up off the bed holding my hands in his, he smiled at me looking into my eyes with so much love. We walked out of the room and headed downstairs to join everyone else.

Michael's P.O.V

I waited for Emma to go downstairs before I took a shower, I stepped into the bathroom and started the shower. I brush my teeth then take off my clothes, I step into the shower and let the hot water run over my body. Images of Emma run through my mind as I close my eyes allowing the water to flow over my head. "Good morning" Emmett says walking in with Rachel. "Mmm, smells good" he walks over to Emma to see what she's making.

"You have to wait like everyone else" she slaps his hand when he tried to grab a piece of bacon. "Go get some mugs and plates and take them to the table" she ushers him away. He goes into the cabinet and hands some plates to Rachel then grabs some mugs taking them over to the table. Rachel goes into a drawer and grabs silverware and sets them on the plates then sits down next to Emmett across from me.

"Good morning" Sarah says entering the kitchen then sitting down next to Rachel. "Where is everybody?" she asks grabbing a mug and uses her finger to fill it with tea.

"Darren's probably out running" Emmett says sipping at his coffee. "He likes to run with the rising sun" he told her.

"Robert and Kim are on the deck meditating" Emma says scooping scrambled eggs into a big bowl, she grabs another bowl and pours the potatoes into it. She grabs a serving plate and puts bacon and sausage on it, she puts English muffins and toast on another plate. I get up and walk over to her taking the two plates and a bowl putting them on the table, she puts the other bowl on the table then sits down next to me. "Emmett can you go call for Darren please" she asks him, he gets up and walks out of the kitchen towards the front doors. She then goes to the back door opening it and calling Robert and Kim's names, I hear Emmett calling Darren's name from the front porch.

Emilia's P.O.V

After breakfast Michael and Robert cleaned up the kitchen while the rest of us got started on cleaning the house, Darren went out front to clean up the firepit area and wood. Kim and Sarah cleaned up the living room and dinning room, Rachel, Emmett and I cleaned up the bedrooms. Rachel started in her room and I started in mine, Emmett got started inn his and Darren's room. I walked into my room and found my phone and earbuds, placing my earbuds into my ears and starting my playlist I got started in the bathroom. Once I was done with the bathroom I got started on the bed changing the sheets and pillowcases, I put clean sheets on the mattress and clean cases on the pillows. After making the bed I went about cleaning the floor and then windows, I packed up the our bags and put them aside. I helped Rachel clean Kim and Sarah's room then went downstairs to put the cleaning supplies away, once the house was clean everyone met in the living room.

"So" Emmett sighed, "what ow" he asked.

"I made a grocery list" I started to say but was cut off.

"When did you have time to make a grocery list?" Michael asks wrapping his arm around my waist as I sit next to him.

"Last night after you fell asleep" I smiled at him.

"Okay, so what's on this list?" Rachel tried grabbing the list from my hand.

"Stuff for an awesome last night of summer party" I said handing the list to Darren. "Darren, Michael and Emmett will go into town and get the stuff on the list" I said as Darren took the list from me. Rachel, Kim, Sarah, Robert and I will set up the back deck for tonight" I said.

"Okay, let's get going then" Emmett said kissing Rachel on the cheek then getting up off the couch walking with Darren to the front doors. "Michael are you coming or not" he called out.

"I'm coming" he called back looking at me, he cupped my cheek leaning in and kissing me on my lips, "I love you" he said pulling away from me and getting up from the couch then walking towards the front doors to join Emmett and Darren.

"So" Sarah comes and sits down next to me, "What do we do first?" she asked me.

"We start by preparing the salads" I say getting up off the couch, "To the kitchen" I declare heading to the kitchen.

The guys were gone almost three hours, when they got back I was able to finish making the macaroni and potato salads. Rachel got to work making hamburger patties, Kim de-husked the corn and wrapped them in aluminum foil. Robert chopped up veggies for a salad and made some dressing to go with it. Darren and Emmett went out back and started up the grill, Michael cleaned up the pool while Sarah set the patio table. Rachel and Kim brought the burgers and corn out to the grill, Robert and I cleaned up the kitchen then took the rest of the food outside to the table. Emmett dumped ice into a big tub then put bottles of soda and water in the ice.

"Okay" Darren says closing the lid of the grill. "While the food cooks everyone should go change into their swimsuits" he said, we all agreed and went to go change.

Michael and I walked into our room, I headed over to the bed and opened my bag grabbing my bikini. I turned around and saw Michael leaning against the closed bedroom door, "What's wrong?" I ask him making my way towards him. He looked at me with concern, I place my hand on his cheek and look into his eyes. "What is it?" he placed his arm around my waist and put his forehead against mine.

"I love you so much Emma" he whispers.

"I love you too" I whisper back. "Please tell me what you're worried about" I plead with him.

"It's nothing baby" he gently kisses my lips.

"It doesn't look like nothing" I say to him.

"I'm worried" he tells me walking over to the bed.

"What do you mean you're worried?" I ask following him, he sat down on the bed and I stood in of him between his legs. I placed my hand on his chin forcing him to look up at me.

"We're going to be separated a lot over the next six years, I'm just afraid that the distance will put a strain on us" he said wrapping his arms around my waist burying his face in my stomach, I run my fingers through his hair as he sighed squeezing me.

"Hey" I knelt down to face him, "nothing can ever come between us, I won't let it" I cupped his face with my hands. "I love you and you love me and that's all we need" I kiss him, he pulls me up and sits me on his lap wrapping his arms around my waist nuzzling his face in my neck. I wrap my arms around his neck and place my head on top of his, we sit there holding each other for what felt like hours but was only twenty minutes. We were brought back to reality when there was a knock at the door.

"Are you guys ready?" Sarah yelled from the door.

"We'll be down in a few minutes" I responded then heard her walk away, I looked at Michael "We should put our suits on" I told him getting off his lap and handing him his trunks.

"Okay" he said taking his trunks then getting up off the bed and walking into the bathroom. I took off my clothes and put on my purple polka dot bikini, I sat on the bed waiting for Michael to come out of the bathroom. After about 5 minutes he emerged and walked over to me pulling me up off the bed and wrapping his arm around my waist. He placed his forehead against mine and sighed, I placed my hands on his chest and we just stood there for a few minutes just enjoying each other. We finally pulled apart and headed downstairs to join everyone else in the backyard.

We spent all evening swimming, eating and just enjoying time together, Rachel, Kim and I spent most of our time sitting on the side of the pool with our legs in the water. We laughed as we watched Darren and Emmett wrestle in the water, Sarah was sitting on one of the loungers videotaping the whole thing and trying not to laugh. Michael and Robert were sitting at the mini bar talking and drinking water, I turn my head to look at him and as our eyes met he gave me a smile which made a shiver go down my spine. As it got later into the night everyone started to wined down, Michael and Robert started putting the food away as Darren cleaned up the grill. I decided to stay in the pool a little while longer while everyone else went up to bed. I swam laps in the pool for about an hour before I decided to head inside, I wrapped a towel around my waist and headed up to my room. I saw Michael sitting up in bed reading a book as I walked in.

"I thought you'd be asleep by now" I walked over to my bag and pulled out my pj's.

"I waited up for you" he eyes me as I walk to the bathroom.

"I'm going to shower, I'll be out in a few. You should get some sleep we have a long drive ahead of us tomorrow" I looked at him before closing the bathroom door. I started the shower then took off my bikini, I stepped into the nice hot shower letting the hot water wash away the day. When I stepped out of the bathroom I find Michael still awake and sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for me. He looks at me then he gets off the bed and makes his way towards me, he wraps his arm around my waist, he cups my face with his free hand making me look at him. I look into his eyes, he leans down and captures my lips with his, he separated my lips with his tongue and invaded my mouth. I wrap my arms around his neck as our tongues wrestled for dominance, he lifted me up into his arms bridal style and carried me over to the bed. He laid me down gently on the bed, moving away he caressed my cheek then he walked to the other side of the bed and climbed in under the covers. Lying on his side he pulled me into his chest wrapping me into his arms, I lay there with my back against his chest and his arm under my head I slowly drift into a peaceful sleep.
