Sirens of the Abyss

Chapter 10

-Faleen POV-

I was back in the care unit now. Which i didn't think I needed to be in anymore since my wound had fully healed. I sat on the bed for a while waiting for Luna to come back. She seemed like a very caring person.

The door opened and Luna was wiping her eyes. She looked at me and smiled. Her eyes looked sad. "Are you okay?" I asked. Luna chuckled and replied "Yes I'm fine, thank you." She walked over to the table and grabbed the wooden bowl she had been blending something in and awhile ago. She poured water into it and stirred it again and brought it back to me. "This is like an antibiotic it will help fight off any infection but I have to warn you, it does not taste good." I scrunched up my face and took the bowl from her. It looked like dark green goo. I looked up at her and lifted my eye brow. "Yeah its better if you don't look at it," she said.

I prepared myself for an awful taste and plugged my nose as I chugged it. I coughed after swallowing it. It felt like slim going down my throat. "..Oh god..that's nasty," I pushed the bowl back to her. She took it and brought it back to the table. "Now that your healed we are going to have to find something for you to do here. So what do you like to do?" she asked.

No one has really asked me that before. I didn't really know all that well what I was good at. "um..I like to read," I replied.

Luna turned around "Well we do have a very big library and I think we are in need of another person to work there. So why don't we start there. Its in the dome so you won't be going out in the water yet." She wiped her hands on her dress "Now lets see if I have any other clothes for you to wear so you don't have to wear that rag anymore." She went to a closet behind the wooden table and opened it up. It looked like it had a lot of colorful dresses in it. She took out a white dress which kinda resembled my yellow dress I worn, but more coverage around the chest. "Alright change into this and ill find some shoes for you to wear." She handed the dress to me and started to rummaged around in the closet.

I turned around and dropped the rag that covered my body and slipped on the white dress. It was definitely comfy and light weight.

"Um...do you have a bra I could wear?" Luna quickly turned her head towards me and responded,"Oh you don't need a bra with this dress. It has padding in the front."

I looked down at my chest and nothing was visible. "Do you have shorts?" I asked.

Luna turned back to me holding a pair of brown sandles and underwear and handed them to me. "Alright there you go!" Luna clapped her hands together.

"Now its off to the Library. Follow me!" Luna lead the way out the door to the library.

It wasn't far from the care unit. The doors before you entered the Library were beautifully designed. Dark smooth wood and the carvings gave off a enchanting feeling. Like you were entering a totally different world.

Luna opened to doors and my eyes widened. The first thing I saw were spiral stairs cases leading above the second floor. Men and woman sitting in chairs reading from different books. The library was Huge. Its walls were filled with books upon books. My eyes weren't big enough to take it all in at once.

"Breath taking isn't it?" Luna said.

"Its more than breath taking.." I replied. I would stay here forever if I could. "What kinds of books are here?" I asked.

"Well there is an abundance of them. Name your favorite genre and I'll show you." Luna started to walk in front of me. "I like Adventure, Romance or anything with a bad ass heroine." I smiled.

Luna giggled "Don't we all." She then lead me up the spiral stair case. It was then I noticed the lights. They looked like dew drops from here but down below they looked like regular light bulbs.

"Alright so this whole row is romance and this one right here is Adventure and I think....Oh! right here is a few of those heroines you like." She pointed at different levels on the stair case.

"Would you like to explore?" Luna asked. I could not of whipped my head around fast enough. "Oh my god Yes!" I did a little jump out of excitement. She nodded her head and I took off.

I traveled up the stair case to the adventure section. I skimmed my hand on the rim of the books. I loved the smell of books. This library was like heaven to me. I pulled out a red book and went to a chair and curled up by what looked like a window. I looked out of it and saw brightly colored fish swimming around everywhere it almost felt like I was in an aquarium.

I sunk into the chair and opened the book, feeling for the first time that I was actually content.

-Theo POV-

I made my way back to my fathers main hall were Delilah sat waiting for me.

Her eyes lite up instantly when I walked into the room. "Where have you been?! I've missed you!" She jumped on me and I quickly caught her so she wouldn't fall.

"I was only gone for a little while," I said putting her down. "Well awhile is too long for me," she pouted. Her eyes reminded me of a dolls and so did her lips. "Come on lets do something together! Lets have some fun." She started to trial her fingers down my chest.

"If that's your idea of fun I want no part in it." I started to walk over to my fathers maps at his table. "Hey! Your my mate you can't reject me like that!" Delilah grabbed my arm and turned me around. "I wonder what my father would say if he knew about this atrocity. He might...sink..your..battleship," She tip toed her fingers across my fathers map and knocked off the remaining ships on the table. "Who knows..he might even start a war." she shrugged and smiled devilishly.

My blood started to boil. This girl got under my skin. I removed my glasses and started to clean them. "Now..we wouldn't want that would we?.." I smirked at her. She closed the space between us and took my glasses from my hands and set them down on the table and hulled herself up on the edge of it and pulled me in with her legs.

I knew if I refused she would send word back to Hades. Some how she had a connection to send messages to father but I never knew how. She was very sneaky I'll give her that.

"Then if you want my daddy's approval. Do what I say," we were face to face now. Her eyes were full of lust. "Besides if I'm going to be your queen, we need an heir..," Delilah pulled my shirt towards her and our lips met. She was ravishing me...and I wanted nothing more then to knock her demented ass off me...
