Finding Mates

Leila's P.O.V

After seeing Isabel i continued to dance trying to figure out how to continue my path of revenge but still keep Lucian and his Pack out of this fight. What was I kidding if Lucian is my mate there would be no way I could keep him away from this fight, from this war. Mum is right I would never be able to forgive myself if anything happened to him, Isabel or his pack, this wasn't theirs to fight this was ours and ours alone. Aureus took everything from us, my beautiful sisters', my dad, so many of our Pack died, some were tortured, raped. He destroyed what was good in our pack and it was my job to bring them back and to Kill Aureus. I was so lost in my dancing and thoughts I didn't realise how late it was. Mum was in the kitchen when I came in "There's dinner in the microwave for you" I watched her pour a glass of red wine and sat down she tried to cover her face but I knew she had been crying, I knelt down in front of her "Mum, Please, understand that you of all people know about how strong the mate bond is, If what you say about Lucian being my mate is true, I will not reject him, even though I'm not 18 mum he's who i want. Aureus will be dead by the next Red Moon I made that vow to my dad and my sisters' and I will not go back on that." Mum held my face in her hands "Baby, I don't want to lose you, but I also know what it feels like to live with out your mate, I don't want you or Lucian to feel that pain ever" I took both her hands and kissed them "Don't worry mum I have a way around that, I won't let him and I Mark each other until after the Red Moon" I saw mum's eyes widened at what I said "Sweet heart, you cant do that, its dangerous you know that once wolves have found each other they only have a week to mate but a month to finish the mating ritual if you don't you will be in severe pain due to heat and all unmated males will try to forcefully mate with you, the blood moon is exactly one month after your 18th" I stood up and walked to the microwave heating my dinner up, thinking about how that will work "I'll work out the finer details later, I have two choices though mum, reject him or fight with him next to me but when Jeremiah gets here we will be able to talk more about it." I kissed her head. I know she's scared but this is my decision not hers.

Jana's P.O.V

Why would Mafalda send us here, bloody witch must have known about Lucian being Leila's Mate, when Paul and Lucas arrived I was in warrior mode but i knew i would need to lie to get us out of this, I knew I was screwed when we caught up to Leila and saw Lucian and how he acted when he saw Leila getting hurt. He is her mate and this is bad, he'll never let her go he will put his entire Pack in danger to save her. I go and check on her, I see she's struggling but not as bad as other nights. I should lock that door but then how will the little wolf get in. She smiled and kissed Leila's forehead, I checked my watch and left her to sleep while I waited in my office. My phone ran and I answered with out checking caller id "Hello" I could hear a very tiresome yawn "Jana, we are at the edge of town, I'll get a couple of hours sleep, we will be there just as the sun rises" Aaron spoke "O.k Aaron, I have your rooms sorted and make sure breakfast ready, when will the kids arrive?" I asked walking towards the door and opening it, "They will arrive around 9.30 am".

I put the coffee machine on and double checked I had everything. Bacon, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Sausages, Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns, Pancakes, Waffles, Fruit Juice, Strawberries and sauces, right they will be here soon I thought as I checked my watch, then I heard a beep. I ran to the door and opened it to find my two wonderful friends standing there, "Oh my!" I burst into tears as both Lucille and Brianne pulled me into an embrace tears rolling down their eyes, It was really good to be in their arms they let me go I could see my dear friends faces "Come in, Leila won't be long and I have cooked for an army" I said pulling them in. Jeremiah and Aaron walked in behind us "Great I'm starving, What about you Tristan?" I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard his name, I looked at the door when I saw a tall dark long dreded haired figure slowly backed into the front door before closing the door, he turned looking at the floor as I walked towards him Hello Luna, I am quite hungry too he mind-linked me I pulled his face so i could look into his eyes "Tristan, please sweetheart, It is wonderful to see you" I saw that he and his wolf were still fighting for control, one of his eyes was hazel while the other was almost black, I remember when he and his twin were bubbly and mischief, always up to something naughty. Our Pack suffered a lot of losses that night and although I lost my love, my mate and my 5 beautiful angels, Tristan, Trinity his twin sister and his mum Margot who was a witch from the coven near us and mated to our Zeta were tortured for two weeks before Mafalda and Red Hawk found them. Aureus allowed his men to torture and rape Margot and Trinity right in front of Tristan before burning Margot alive in front of everyone. Tristan and Trinity not only bare physical scares but their mental and emotional scars were extremely severe, besides Tristan's inner fight with his wolf he also hasn't spoken a word to anyone only communicates via mind-link, he bares silver burns on his chest and back from being whipped with a whip laced with silver, silver chains burned into his neck, wrists and ankles from being chained up. I put my arm around him "Come and eat baby" he smiled as I pulled them towards the kitchen "Hey Luna, can you save me some for when Beta and Gamma say I can come out"  I got a shock to hear Trinity's voice when I went to say something Jeremiah joined the link Trinity is on watch, she will let us know when our babysitters arrive. I nodded but still saddened knowing that these once lively children were not the same due to Aureus and it angered me. After her ordeal Trinity's wolf couldn't cope with anything that she buried herself so far that Trinity couldn't shift, this left Trinity feeling like she wasn't a were wolf and somewhere in her mind she snapped and she started t act more like a child, reminded me of a little 10 year old girl, most of her scares are hidden with in her but being a hybrid allowed Trinity to practice using her witch powers but because her magic is connected to her emotions Mafalda gave her a talisman to subdue a lot of her emotions. Their big sister Raven our new Zeta trained both her brother and sister to fight harder and use weapons, due to Trinity's in ability to shift both Raven and Tristan fight in human form, they even call themselves the Holy Trinity especially as they are hybrids and practice magic aswell as using their wolves. "Tristan!" Leila squealed as she walked into the kitchen, I saw Tristan jump and knew he was mind-linking Leila, she threw herself in his arms and kissed his cheek, I saw him blush a little and a grin appear on his face. Once we dished our breakfast, Jeremiah cleared his throat "O.k, so this day we are blessed, we are with our family that we have been separated from for a long time, but this year, this year is a year of celebrations, our children will turn 18, we will reunite our family and we will avenge those we loved and lost" I looked around and saw my friends looking inspired from Jeremiah, he held his coffee up and looked upwards "My dear friend, Colton this year we will honour you with blood, sweat, bones and tears. We will rise and hang the heads of our enemies" I saw that Jeremiah tear up so I walked to him and he sat down "We will celebrate and honour ALL of our loved ones" we all said cheers in unison when the link came through Heads up Fam, Our babysitters have arrived, Two cars. Big sexy Alpha, Beta, Gamma both equally hot hehehe sexy female Alpha and 6 warriors. Spreading out around the vicinity. Jeremiah let us know that we still had to act like Leila and I were human so when we mind-link we couldn't make it obvious. Tristan pulled out a pad so that when we interacted he would write it down. Lucille and Brianne washed and cleaned up breakfast dishes while Jeremiah and Aaron unpacked the truck, I watched as Leila and Tristan pretended to watch a movie while they were mind-linking, we all made small talk about what has been happening in our lives as Lucian and his pack could hear everything in our house, except for my office thanks to Mafalda, I walked to Leila "Hey the kids will arrive in an hour why don't you and Tristan go and train for a bit" I asked while mind-linking Tristan with the pack watching please take it easy, maybe do more weapons training. Don't forget to take the pad, Lucian will be watching Leila very carefully. Leila try to control yourself. Leila smiled and stood up "Come on Tristan, we can use the field next door" She pulled Tristan up as he smiled.

Lucian's P.O.V

"What the hell is Jana thinking, They are wolves, She can't train with him" Lucian blurted out when he heard Jana, I growled when I saw them, He was 6'2 with long dreds black with blue colour twisted through, He wore a white t-shirt with a black leather jacket, black jeans and black army boots I heard Isabel and Lexa both gasp, "Damn, We'll train with him, He's HOT!" Lucas let out a laugh as I stood there glaring at both girls. This guy went to a motorcycle and pulled off two bags handing one to Leila, I couldn't help feeling a little jealous as i watched her smiling and giggling at him, I wanted to rip him apart, I felt Isabels' hand on my shoulder "It's alright big brother, she is yours and only yours" I tried to calm myself but I swear if he touches her I'll kill him. I watched Leila closely as they got to the field and she took her hoodie off, a small protective growl left my mouth as I saw her only wearing a black crop bra that had straps wrapping around her rib cage and camouflage pants that weren't too tight and white basket ball high tops, I watched closely as Tristan wrote something on a pad paper and showed Leila she smiled and I swear I saw her eyes sparkle, he then reached into the bag and pulled out a stick. "Really, all that excitement for a stick?" I heard Korinne sarcastically say, my head snapped in her direction and she lowered her head, I quickly looked back when I heard Lucas "Oh hell no" I saw him looking at Leila's direction when I saw that Son of b***h Lunge at Leila with two swords but before i could run my sister and Beta both jumped on me "No! Lucian, Your father said to Watch only no interfering-" before Paul could finish Lexa interrupted him "Besides she's kicking arse" we all look at her whose pointing in their direction, Isabel quickly jumped up to see. When i got up i watched her, she was absolutely beautiful, every attack he gave her she counter attacked,  she was my everything but I sat there in awe of her beauty. I let out a few growls when he connected his hits with her, when she lunged at him and he held on to her I watched as they rolled and he landed on top of her, he laid there on top of her between her legs, I almost lost it until I saw him get up and hold his hand out for Leila, instead of grabbing his hand she spun her legs up and around sweeping his legs from out under him standing with her stick inches away from his face, that's my girl I thought to myself. I saw that the Beta and Gamma watching with pride in their eyes, I saw how close these people were to Leila and Jana it only filled me with more questions. Leila held her hand out and Tristan took it, I let out another growl when I saw him hug her and kissed the top of her head, Isabel saw my reaction when she mind-linked me Brother, that was more of a brotherly hug and kiss nothing more, you do that to me when i kick your ass I couldn't help but laugh. Tristan and Leila started practising with bow's and arrows and I have to admit this dude was really good, his arrows hit his target each time, Isabel and Lexa were in awe of him and drooling over him which was just as annoying I mean come on he's touching my mate and they're drooling worse part was my beta and gamma were also watching him with admiration, I shoved Paul and all he could say was "Bro, he shot 3 arrows at once and got his target, Cat is cool". I shook my head in disappointment when Isabel gasped and I heard Korinne whisper "He can hold me like that!!" I shot a glare in Leila's direction and saw that he was right  up to her from behind there was no room between their bodies, his face was touching her's, I could feel the anger bubbling through my body, my blood started to boil my wolf wanted to take over and i was going to let him, I wanted to kill him. I started to emerge from where we were when we heard the loud noise of a motorbike, Paul and Lucas were right next to me as we saw a Low rider S Harley Davidson slowly ride pass us with a truck following behind it carrying four more motorbikes with one being covered and a moving truck behind that. We watched as the adults came out of Leila's when they pulled to a stop, the person that rode the motorbike hopped of and took their helmet off, I was surprised to see it was a girl, slim body with black short hair shaved on each sides, her hair had red through it looked like someone dipped her head in paint, I heard a loud growl from Paul, everyone heard as they looked in our direction, the girl put her helmet on her bike taking her leather jacket off, I watched Paul intently as he watched every movement she made she wore a leather vest, leather pants and knee high riding biker boots that had a small heel, that's when we heard Paul "MINE" as he started to walk towards her. We then got distracted by a giggle from above us, as we looked up we saw a girl sitting in the tree with her hand over her mouth and wide eyes in shock that she was discovered, my warriors were all in defense mode when I heard  voice behind us "Tristan, Brother look at me" Paul and I turned to see Tristan was right in front of us with his bow and 3 arrows at the ready pointing it at me, it was then i could see he had burn scars across his face the same as the girl above us and he had one hazel eye and one black, this girl had her back to us but still stood in between us, we watched as he shook his head and slowly turned to her "That's right brother, it's me Raven. Trin can you get down here please" her voice was quiet and calm. Out of nowhere this girl somersaulted out of the tree and landed next to Tristan she grabbed his arm "Come brother, I am o.k, lets go and eat" He looked down to this girl and she nodded at him, he put his guard down and lowered his weapon before taking her hand and they walked off. Raven turned to us "Sorry, my brother is very protective of Trinity. Please keep your distance and give us this day with Leila and Jana, We will be gone by sunrise as per orders from your Alpha" she looked at Paul and smiled walking towards him, there was lust and hunger in both their eyes as Paul pulled her into him both saying Mine, they started passionately kissing, I actually thought they were going to mate and mark each other right there but she put her hand on Paul's face pushing him back "Right, I have to go before Trey and Raymond eat all the food but-" she kissed Paul biting his bottom lip and pulling it out then letting it go"I'm gonna have so much fun with you" she looked at me after pulling out of Paul's embrace, "enjoy watching us, Alpha boy" and she ran off, Paul stumbled back as i watched her run towards the house I saw two handles sticking out from her back guessing they were weapons. We were sitting back in our spots when we saw everyone from Leila's house come out with two guys on either side leading a blind folded Leila I'm sure my pack was getting sick of hearing my growls but geez how many times does this girl need to be touched by guys, we watched patiently as the boys pulled the blindfold off as Jana pulled the tarp off the bike revealing an Iron 1200 Harley Davidson, I smiled as i saw her squeal jumping up and down her eyes truly sparkling, I stopped smiling when she jumped into the two guys arms, then proceeded to hug everyone that was present. Wait they are not giving the bike to her are they I thought and Isabel must have known what i was thinking because she answered me "They are giving it to her" I watched as Gamma Aaron pulled a beige chain stitch leather jacket, Beta Jeremiah placed a helmet on her head as Jana handed her keys. I didn't notice that others had already jumped on bikes It wasn't until Leila turned her bike on that i heard all the bikes start, I watched in horror as Leila lead them down the street "OH HELL f**k NO!!" I screamed not caring if the adults heard "YOU FOUR STAY! THE REST FOLLOW THEM" I barked orders as everyone ran at my orders I shifted and started chasing the bikes down the street.

Leila's P.O.V

Oh I loved the feeling of the vibration between my legs, the fact that I am riding my dads' bike was even better, I can't believe they fixed it for me. I giggled as we rode in and out of traffic and played leap frog. Tristan and Raven was staying behind us because Lucian was following in his wolf form while the others were in cars but Raven didn't want them to ruin our fun. I could hear Trey and Raymond laughing as Trinity and kept blocking them, I turned to head out towards the lighthouse, there was an area that was in between Lucian's territory and the Light Stone Pack's territory, its a beautiful spot just to chill and hang. I pulled down a dirt road when i saw the light house i started to slow down and pulled to a stop, turning off my bike I placed the helmet on the seat and sat waiting for the others, Trinity and Trey arrived first "WOW, this is pretty" Trinity gasped, I knew she would like it, Trey just shrugged not caring, Raymond, Tristan and Raven arrived Tristan kept looking behind us before mind-linking Hey they have stopped at the end of the road, Lucian has shifted back to human form, he's not happy they all looked at me confused "I may have taken you to the border of light stone pack" all of them threw their hands up in the air growling, Raven stepped forward "Come on Leila, you are safe, We are not, Alpha Edward gave us permission to be in his territory and only his territory, come on lets go!" I always hated hearing Raven's disappointment in her voice, as she looked at all of us "Where's Trin?" she asked as we looked at each other, I looked straight at Tristan as he looked around the scenery like he was scanning the area for his sister. We all started screaming out for her as we went running further into Light stone territory. I heard giggling so I followed the sound "Your cute! Please don't shift I get scared. I really like you" I heard a growl as i walked into the small opening "Trin?" I called out as this very large Golden brown wolf was lying on the ground at trinity's feet lifted his head towards me, she was holding the wolf's fur on his neck 'Hi Leilei, look isn't he gorgeous?" she asked as her hazel eyes sparkled, I could feel his power emulating from him, just as Tristan arrived with Raven both pulled weapons out I saw the wolf jump between them and Trinity "W-Wait, Tristan, Raven put your weapons down-" they did it straight away "Trin can you explain to your new friend that we mean no harm, we were just worried about you" Tristan didn't take his eyes off his sister as Trinity ruffled the wolf's fur as he bared his canines at Tristan, "Hey that's my brother and sister and this is Leila so stop it o.k" just as he whimpered and bowed his head to Trinity, a wolf came out from behind the tree line tackling Tristan, before the wolf could do anything Trinity pulled her whip off from around her waist and whipped it around the wolf pulling it to her "NO! NAUGHTY!" she pointed her finger in its face and punched the wolf, we then got surrounded by other wolves Tristan pulled his Bow and arrow up on the ready, Raven pulled her swords in a defence stance, Trinity put her foot on the wolf's neck and pulled her hunting knife which was really large out and had her whip ready, I stood there stunned but confused as the large brown wolf growled at his own pack, then a girl walked out dressed in shorts and a t-shirt "Alpha" she was looking at the brown wolf "Young Alpha Lucian called, he said that these wolves are his guests and that the human Leila is protected by him, They do not know the territory boundaries, his mistake" by her face I knew he mind linked her, the wolves all left when she talked to Trinity "Could you please take your foot off my brother, Alpha Lincoln won't shift but he would like to escort you and your family back to your vehicles" Trinity looked down and lifted her foot "Oops, sorry, There you go" she giggled she put her knife away, Tristan ran to her checking for marks I saw the wolf looking up at his comrade and she shrugged Are you alright Trin, did he hurt you? she cupped his face in her hands "I am fine Tristan, he wouldn't hurt me, he's my mate"  the shock in Tristan's face was evident as he looked at the wolf then at the girl with mid length curly hair she smiled at Tristan, leaning towards him mouthing Mate, Tristan turned to Raven "Relax brother, lets go" she said as he started walking away, the girl stood stunned and hurt Tristan didn't acknowledge her as his mate, Raven put her swords away and stepped forward holding her hand out "I'm Raven, Tristan and trinity are my little brother and sister" the girl shook her hand "I'm Beta Charlee Clarke, this is Alpha Lincoln Parker of the light stone Pack. So what's with your brother and sister?" I saw Raven flinch as she was asked and started following Trinity and Alpha Lincoln "nothing, they are who they are, due to circumstances beyond our control, we just love and respect them for who they are now" When we got to the clearing I saw the a Light stone Pack and Lucian with Paul, Lucas, Isabel,  Korinne and Lexa who eye googling Raymond sitting on his bike, Trey was lying down on the ground. Tristan went straight to his bike as we got closer Trey stood up "Woah Leillei, trying to get us killed or what!" he said with his I'm in charge tone, I couldn't help but mouth I'm sorry. Raven stopped at Paul and held his hand and looked at Charlee "My brother acknowledges you as his mate, but due to his circumstance he does not communicate verbally, he will text or email you until you can meet up properly, have your Alpha pass your details to our Beta Jeremiah" Raven stepped forward and looked directly into her eyes "I love my brother and my sister, Beta or Alpha I do not care either of you hurt them In any way shape or form, I will tear you from limb to limb and rip your heart from your chest" she then looked at Trinity and then to Alpha Lincoln "our Beta will call you to discuss Trinity, remember what I said Alpha" she turned to Paul placing a kiss on his cheek "I will come and see you tonight" and started walking away before calling out to Trinity. Trey and Raymond stood waiting for her and I "I have to go, i'll see you soon, goodbye for now my love" Raymond and Trey howled as she gave him kisses and skipped towards them. I walked towards my bike when Lucian grabbed my arm "Paul please take Leila to the car" I yanked my arm when Trey pushed him "Don't touch her" he looked angry but so was Lucian "Listen here, Beta, You gave a death trap to her to go racing around town, now I will take her home in a safe car where she won't die" Raymond pissed himself in laughter almost falling on the ground, Trey couldn't help but smirk "Lei has been riding motorbikes since we were 5" Trey chuckled at Lucian, he wasn't happy that they were laughing at his expense he stepped forward "She will be coming with me" he said with certainty I had enough and stepped in between them "O.k boys, lets not start brawling over a motorbike, Trey why don't you follow Isabel and that back, I'll go with Lucian, but how is my bike going to get back home" I said crossing my arms before he could say anything another voice appeared from no where "I'll be happy to drop it off, with Young Alpha Lucian's permission of course" I spun to him surprised "Who the hell are you?" I demanded staring at the guy with no shirt on and grey shorts he was surprised at how I spoke "Alpha Lincoln" Lucian smiled and nodded at Lincoln and then Paul stood in front of me motioning me to the car. Trey and Raymond wrapped their arms around me "Its' alright Lei, we'll enjoy our ride back for you" they started laughing as Tristan and Raven started their bikes. I sat in the car waiting for Lucian, I watched as he and Lincoln were talking, Paul jumped in the driver's seat "So tell me about Raven" I saw the excitement in his face in the rear view mirror, I smirked at him as I looked out the window "A word of warning, she's crazy" he giggled as Lucian hopped in next to me pulling me into him, I could hear him smelling me, I felt so safe with him and I could feel my defenses coming down, he lifted my face to his "I don't like those boys touching you" I smiled at him "they are my brothers nothing more" he leant down, I closed my eyes as he brushed his lips across mine but not kiss me. I was so disappointed.
