"Why the hell didn't you show up yesterday?!" Levi got up in my face first thing in the morning.   "Right, the soccer field. I didn't know where it was." I simply stated.   "..."   I could hear Mason and Caleb giggling right behind him while Levi looked like his face was about to explode.   "We should settle this right now." Levi said after a deep breath.   "I thought we already settled this last month? I won, remember? So you still want more beating, is that it?" I scoffed.   "Yes." He said seriously.   "What are you, a masochist?" I joked.   He didn't answer me. Just gripped my hand real tight as he dragged me away from the halls.   He took me to the empty gym without his gang where he finally let go.   "b***h, don't test me!" He shrieked.   "I can be a real gentleman but if you act like this---"   "Oh this is you being a gentleman? I see. What a turn on." I said sarcastically.   "Look, if you want to fight me then just do it. Stop talking already." I added.   "I don't want to fight you this time." He said.   So he finally got tired, huh?   "I'm offering you a spot in my gang. It's either you join us or you're against us." He explained.   "I have a better idea, why don't I just stay in the sidelines and do nothing?"   "That won't do, Kramer. You know the rules."   "Can't I just be invisible here? My mom prefers it if I start to act all girly and s**t. Maybe even have a girl friend or two?" I tried to ask.   "Seriously?" Levi arched a brow.   "Dude, you don't know my mom." I sighed out loud.   "Okay. I guess I could put that into consideration." He says after a deep thought.   "Wait, seriously?" I find him hard to believe in.   "Yeah."   "You're just going to let it slide like that?" I pressed.   "Sure, why not? I mean, it's not like you can handle the girly life anyway. I'll give it a week before you crack and come to your senses." He scoffed.   "What? You don't think I could do it? Being a normal teenage girl?" I suddenly got pissed off.   "No way in hell." He smirked.   "Fine! Let's just see what happens!" I accepted his challenge without thinking.   ******   "Ed and I were thinking that you and your brothers need to bond more from time to time." Mom went to my room that night just to say this.   "Why?"   "Because we both want you three to get along really well." She explained.   "Why? Is it not enough that I'm living with these strangers?" I asked.   "No."   "But they're both rich snobs---" I tried to reason out.   "Stop being such an antisocial and get your ass inside the game room now!" Mom shrieked out of nowhere.   "You three are going to spend some quality time together every after school inside the game room and will only get out when it's bedtime." She added.   ******   "This is weird." I blurted out.   "Totally." Landon agreed.   Malcolm was just reading a thick book on the couch, too busy to be able to make sense of the situation.   "Your dad's okay with this?" I asked Landon.   "I believe he's the one who suggested it." Malcolm finally spoke.   "Are you gay?" I can't help but ask.   "What?"   "No offense, but you sound rather gay. I don't know why I think most British guys are gay but I think it's the accent." I tried to explain.   "Okay, I need to go to the loo." Landon looked like he was about to burst out laughing but was just holding it all in.   "I am not a homosexual. Just like you said you are not a lesbian." He tried to keep his cool.   "Sorry, bro. I was just confirming."   The next thing you know, the guy was hovering in front of me before giving me a kiss on the lips which made me jolt back right away of course.   "Do you still want proof of me being a heterosexual?" He asked.   "I never asked for you to prove anything! What are you, crazy?!" My eyes were as wide as my mouth alright.   "I was just trying to make a point."   Did my step-brother just steal my very first kiss?!   "What did I miss?" Landon returned from the bathroom.
