Chapter Fifteen

Its been sixth months. Yes, S I X T H months to their relationship which is growing beautiful every other day. The others kind of have an idea that something is brewing between the two, but a simple yet monstrous glare from him can shut their mouths. Manik has been insisting on meeting her family, but Nandini was Nandini. She still limitized him and that’s the only reason, he everyday climbs to her room. Her sister, once tried to sleep with her but Nandini tackled her well.

Divya is sometimes in doubt about their ‘friendship’ thing but atleast happy that they are working well with each other.

It was the usual day for everyone but for Nandini, for she was getting some jitters and negative vibes around her.

“Hey baby! Calm down!” He cajoled her as she smiled lightly and both were walking around the corridor to get to the canteen when suddenly someone blocked their way.

“Excuse me!” Nandini spoke but no one answered. Instead, the ones who blocked their way was glaring at her, deeply.

“Manik!” She looked at Manik and that was enough to scare her even. His eyes were red, his muscles had tightened and his nerves was kinda visible. His fisted hands gave her a quite signal that something was not right.

She looked the other way to find Cabir motioning something like ‘S O H A’ Nandini widened her eyes. Her heart literally broke. She knew Manik was in his worst state and she couldn’t do something. Why Aiyappa?

“Oh! So she’s the new girl..Wow Manik!” Soha walked a little closer to Manik to which Nandini clutched his hand just to calm him down. He was breathing very high and as she came closer to him, he turned his face just to look at the blessing and not at the sin, the mistake he did.

“I love you!” She twisted her lips to which he smiled, but weakly. His heart literally broke that his best friend broke his heart.

“Soha baby! Come, let’s go!” Harshad called from behind to which Soha smirked and walked to him, clinging closer to him.

“Let’s just go baby!” She said and pecked his lips to which both of MaNan widened their eyes and the others, the spectators oggled at their PDA.

“Aye! Manik..You got just a girl..your level! A kiddo!” Soha joked to which many of the others giggled to which Manik was about to move forward when Nandini pulled him back while he tried to keep calm with his raging anger.

“Aha! So unlucky girl! No kiss nothing..Arey! Manik didn’t even kiss someone like me..And you toh! Very unsatisfactory I know!” Soha said clinging closer to Harshad to which Manik looked at her.

‘Was she going to cheat on him too?’ ‘NEVER MANIK MALHOTRA!’ His heart was stumbling between the two.

Divya soon joined the crowd as soon as she heard about Soha’s visit. She saw a huge crowd and it was hard for her too face MaNan.

“Leave him dude! He ain’t interested in anything..And about your first kiss! Go for a stud dude! Not an impotent!” Harshad joked from behind when Nandini moved forward to Manik and looked at Soha.

She smiled at Manik and then at Soha before awarding her with a tight slap right on her face. THWACK and the whole college went numb and silent.

Divya palmed her mouth along with the others while Manik stood there, shocked.

“Dare! Dare you not say a word against Manik!” Nandini put forth her finger and spoke with enough rage to scare that kitten down.

“You b***h!” And THWACK. Soha couldn’t speak a word when she was awarded with another from the mighty little monster.

“Manik is my life..Dare you say a word! He’s not a coward..he’s just controlling himself for me! You spoilt his life..you destroyed him as a person.. You changed an angel into a devil just because of your stupid evil mind...!” She spoke with enough rage and fire to burn the devils down.

“And you, You toh literally spoilt the meaning of friendship just because of this girl..I have seen you two enough.. You better not dare say a word against my Manik..!” Soha widened her eyes while her heart, deep down was scared to death.

“GUARDS! GUARDS! Throw them out of the college campus!” Nandini’s harsh voice was enough for the guards to listen to her and they struggled hard to throw the two devils in disguise out of the campus.

Nandini turned behind, held the hand of a shock-stricken Manik Malhotra and walked away while the others stood there witnessing the mini lioness yet the perfect lover.

“Ca..Cabir!” Divya’s eyes had tears as she looked at Cabir who smiled and nodded in a yes and that was it. Divya quickly hugged him “Rabba!! Thank you so much Waaheguruu!” And the other of their Friend Circle joined both of them in a hug.

While on the other hand, Nandini entered a vacant room with Manik and made him sit on a bench not before locking the door.
