Chapter Sixteen

“Manik, Calm down!” He was breathing heavily sitting on the teacher’s table while she was standing infront of him caressing his back.

“Nandini, do you feel something is wrong with me?” He looked at her. She knew he was thinking this only.

“Wrong..As in?” She wanted him to be vocal about his fears, misconceptions.

“Wrong as in..We are in a relationship since so many days and we haven’t kissed? I mean..It’s lik-“ She shushed him by pecking his forehead “I love you. Isn’t that enough?”

His face lightened up a little and he smiled when she caressed his cheeks “Hey baby!” She called out to which he cutely looked at her, with astonishing eyes for sure.

“What? Can’t I call you baby atleast?” She winked at him to which he blushed and she went all ‘awww’.

“Hahaha! Stop blushing, blushy baby!” She pecked his forehead to which he smiled.

“I love you even if you hate yourself!” She spoke while pecking his cheeks to which he looked at her, intently.

“It’s fine Nandini..We are very comfortable around each other and that’s all okay!” He spoke, pulling her by waist CLOSER.

“And what if I want more? Won’t you give in?” She started tracing her fingers across his lips and pecked lightly the mole just about his lips.

“Nan..dini!” He whispered as his heart has already started beating the fast-est.

“Yeah!” She whispered and bent a little to reach his lips and slowly, with bit by bit reached the closest to his lips.

His heart was already fluttering while he was feeling all those ‘butterflies’ he has heard of.

“I love you!” She whispered against his lips and pressed her lips against his while he closed her eyes.

He knew this was the moment. He knew it from the day he fell in love. He could feel all the love through her lips today. He could sense her love and care today. He felt all completed and summoned in love.

She bit his lips softly so to make him aware that he was a part of this too. He in no time, pulled her closer and started savoring her as much as she was.

Nandini stumbled a little as he was really intense but soon she got familiar and synced with him.

As he felt her breathless, he stopped for a bit and both left each others’ lips and looked at each other with a slight tinch of blush across their cheeks.

“Let Soha speak now! We will see who shoots more this time!” She winked to which he giggled and pulled her closer yet again “Leave her! It’s just us! And I know, this is for forever!” He pecked their entwined hands while she blushed and hid her face in his chest.

“By the way! Now that you have started with the trend! I won’t go back home till I take my goodnight kiss every night, okay!” He caressed her hairs and teased her to which she hit his chest and they both started giggling.

“I always knew that my first kiss will be with someone special only and maybe that’s the reason I never kissed Soha despite being in a relationship!” He said after a peaceful silence of two minutes.

“Am I the someone special?” She was being so spontaneous today.

“Yes! You are! The most special being in my life!” He said pecking her hairs to which she blushed and pecked his chest “I love you! Please don’t ever leave me!” He said to which she wrapped her hands around his neck and pecked his lips and spoke “I live for you Manik!”

And that was it. Content smiles spread across their faces as they closed their eyes with peaceful silence taking over them.
