Hate to Love You

He looked at her, the hate for her clearly reflecting from his eyes in the moonlight. ‘Why wouldn’t he just let her go?’ she wondered. He seemed to be making it his life goal to ruin her. Just like that he turned and left without another word. It wasn’t until she heard the truck start and tires spinning out of the yard that she let out a breath that she didn’t realize that she had been holding until now. She dropped to the floor and the tears started flowing. ‘What was she going to do? Why did her parents force her into this doomed situation?’ Upstairs, the baby started crying. She let out a sigh and pulled herself off the floor, she needed to be strong, she would figure out a way to get her and her newborn out of this situation safely. She headed upstairs to check on her baby.
