We finished our dinner and conversation with Aunt Betty and decided to head back to Joy's parents house.
The way back was eerily quiet. Joy was in deep thought. I have no idea if it was because of what happened earlier with Brian or becuase the multiple bombs Aunt Betty revealed tonight. Or maybe I f****d up and scared her when I said she was my future wife. s**t.
She was quiet, but despite the silence between us, she held my hand tightly. I was deep in thought also, my parents left me settled and my uncle fought for my custody, not because he wanted to raise me, but because he wanted to drain my accounts.
