Instead of walking into my office, I turned the opposite way, to the conference room. There we would be able to have privacy and enough room for everyone to be seated. The office was empty due to the event yesterday. All of our team members had the day off, so there was no risk of anyone evesdroping in our conversation.
Everyone took a seat. Derek was still missing. According to my dad, he is trustworthy and he will be coming in soon. I had no reason to think otherwise, so I took a seat as well.
