The Lostpack

Gabby’s pov. Hello my name is Gabby and this is my story. I live in a werewolf pack that is cut off from the werewolf community and the human world. Our Alpha has made rules to keep the pack compliant. I will be 18 tomorrow and will receive my Alpha order to make sure I’m compliant. I live with my mother and two younger sisters Meg 5 and Ruby 6. I’ve just got home, well if you can call a shack a home. It has 4 rooms the living room/kitchen, bathroom my mum’s bedroom and the bedroom I share with my sister’s. In this pack everyone has a job to do, we don’t go to school and start ‘working’ at the age of 10, the girls/women work in the pack house ether in the kitchen, cleaning or washing clothes and bedding. The boys/men work at the farm or are warriors. At the moment I’m working in the kitchen, we get moved from role to role every couple of weeks. I hate my life and that this is what my sister’s will have to do when they are older. While in the shower I think about what’s going to happen tomorrow!!! I should be getting my wolf and be able to shift but instead I’m going to be Alpha ordered to not shift and if I find my mate, to reject him. The reason why is years ago before I was born, the pack was attacked by rogue’s and our Luna was killed which sent the Alpha mad and he Alpha ordered everyone to reject their mate’s. My father also died in the attack I was born a couple of months later. The women are now used against their will by the Alpha, ranked wolves and warriors, they are also the only members that are allowed to shift. There is one very important law that everyone has to obey, the girl’s are not to be touched until they are 18. If someone breaks this law they are used for training purposes resulting in death. On my way to bed I can hear that someone is with my mum, oh hell I hope my sister’s are asleep and can’t hear it. I open our bedroom door as quietly as possible. Thankfully they are asleep, I climb into bed and try to go to sleep. “I ALPHA TRENT ORDER YOU GABBY TO NOT SHIFT AND IF YOU FIND YOUR MATE YOU ARE TO REJECT HIM.” The order snaps into place, my wolf May whimpers and retreats to the back of my mind, we will be able to talk to each other once she recovers a bit, but it will be very difficult to do so. “Yes Alpha Trent.” I bow my head. “My son Simon has requested that he is the one to break you in, you are to go to his room at 8 o’clock tonight. You are dismissed.” “Yes Alpha.” I’ve haven’t got a choice but to do as he says oh moongoddess no not him!!! He’s a sarcastic arsehole, I’ve heard what happens with him from the other girls that he wants. I head to the kitchen to start working, I’m late but everyone knows why. The one thing we can do is mind link. ****in mind link.**** Unknown: “What happened you look scared shitless?” “I’ve got to go to Simon’s room tonight!!!” ****out loud**** “Oh f*****g hell Gabby no you can’t you know what he did to Tina.” “Lucy you know that I don’t have a choice if I don’t go he’ll kill me, what will happen to my sister’s if I’m gone!!! Lucy nod’s and gives me a hug. We finish making breakfast, clean up then make a start on lunch. Just as I’m getting some rolls out of the oven, we get mass a mind link. Unknown: “Rogues are attacking.” ***mind link with mum.*** “Gabby get your sister’s and run.” “Mum you need to come with us.” “Gabby there’s no time get your sister’s and ru” The mind link is cut off and by the pain in my chest I know she’s gone. I run to our house, grab our foraging bag and my sister’s. Meg: “Gabby what’s going on where’s mum?” “Meg the pack is under attack by rogue’s we need to run, I’m sorry baby girl mum can’t come with us.” Meg and Ruby start crying. I pick them both up, run out of the house and into the woods. I wish I’d been able to get my friends out but my priority are my sister’s. We run for a bit but I can hear wolves fighting and coming our way. I boost Meg and Ruby into a tree then climb up after them. Hopefully no one will catch my scent and will pass by us. We see some of the pack members running through the woods with rogue’s after them, I hold the girl’s heads into my chest with my hand’s over their mouths. I close my eyes as I don’t want to see anything, I wish I could turn my ears off as well but I can’t. I hear snarling, growling and what sounds like bodies being pulled apart. Eventually the noises stop I open my eyes and look around. There is no one around but I can see what’s left of of the pack members. I’ve now got a decision to make, stay in the tree and risk being found or move on and risk being found. My tummy made the decision for me we need food. “Ok girls we’re going to get down, I’ll go first and catch you.” I climb down. “Ok Meg down you come just look at me, good girl well done. Ok Ruby you’re turn just keep looking at me, good girl well done.” I pick them both up, with their eyes on me I start walking avoiding the ‘mess’. As we get deeper into the woods I put the girls down and we pick berries as we walk putting some in the bag and eating some.
