Chapter fifty four: Inside the Fyr Donjun is the death of the Moonlit Wolf

Silver had casted shadow step, aiming at the wolf's back, as he let Yohanna interrupt it at its front. He wildly slashed his vine whip, and caused a big wave of fire gushing towards the creature. Yet, the Moonlit Wolf knew what was the trick that Silver had done. As a response from the attack, it blinked. From where it stood as it fought Yohanna, his body blinked and transferred at the other side, where Silver’s waves of the fire would not reach. They can hear Jiero's cry as he hug Alina, which even until now, was unconscious. It made Yohanna and Silver gaining more pressure to what they were doing, from whom they were fighting. They have to immediately move and finish this task. They have to clearly end the life of the Moonlit Wolf. They have to tend Alina as soon as possible. For they knew, have they not, the misery would continue . . . until her death. By just thinking of Alina’s death, Silver’s chest threw a pang of pain. He cannot possibly, easily accept the fact that it might happen to her. No, he wouldn't let that happen. “Yohanna, fight the Moonlit Wolf carefully first. Distract that beast. I have to check Alina.” Yohanna nodded, and casted a thunder skill from Aries’ power. Silver jumped and quickly moved to where Jiero was holding Alina. “Alina,” called Silver, voice is weak and prone to break. “Silver, help Alina.” Jiero said. The tears flowing out of his eyes were adding more pain to Silver as he can see how pale Alina was, at the very moment. He can see how it was trying to fight, struggling even though her lungs were moving in a restricted force. ‘What shall I do?’ asked Silver of himself. He was now panicking. Different negative thoughts and imaginations entered through his head, making his worries doubled. He opened his inventory, and checked whether if there is something inside it that he can use to help Alina ease her breathing. He then grabbed a health potion and placed it at Alina's mouth. Soon as she finished drinking, her crumpled and paled face has immediately returned to its normal. No more pains, Silver believed. But her breathing was still short. Her breathing was still making her hard to survive from whatever hardship she was facing. “s**t!” he was frustrated. He cannot think of anything more of how he shall save Alina. And Jiero cried. Jiero had no idea why he was crying. In the whole course of his life, he had only cried because he was bullied. He cried because he was weak and his life was senseless. Not until the gray lines and grids appeared on his eyesight. The touch of emotion inside him had mysteriously subdued. Yet, as he saw Alina, the first woman whom he had helped, the first woman who seemed to accept him regardless of his condition, trying to survive even of the faintest chance, his heart almost burst in pain. And when he saw how Silver became frustrated, he felt the whole world suddenly dumped its weight into his shoulder. He cried harder. “Silver!” from a far, Silver heard Yohanna screaming. ‘s**t! I was too distracted!’ he thought. He was just planning to quickly check Alina, and then go back into fighting the Moonlit Wolf. But now he was more confused. He wanted to be beside Alina, to hold her hand, and to help her from her misery. But he don't want Yohanna to follow what was currently happening to Alina. He don't want to have two big problems at the same time. “I'll be back,” Silver said to the still unconscious Alina, and kissed the back of her hand. He then looked at Jiero. “Please, Jiero, take care of Alina.” Jiero nodded, despite him being frightened. Then, as fast as he could, Silver went back into action. He pulled a great power, and shadow stepped from where he was standing towards the front of Moonlit Wolf, who was about to attempt killing Yohanna with the use of its fangs made of light. Silver casted a hammer smash. It was a skill from the gloves that he was wearing. He wildly smashed with his vine whip in order to hit the forehead of the wolf. Upon receiving the attack, the moonlit wolf was forced to kneel, and its chin started to collide with the ground. It released a small whimper. Silver thought that the Moonlit Wolf could be finally killed. But it wasn't enough. Before Silver and Yohanna could make another move, The Moonlit Wolf immediately opened its mouth, and casted a beam of black and white light. It then caused Yohanna and Alina to retreat and deform the simultaneous attack they were planning to create. Silver then found himself jumping in the air, and casting another skill. He slashed his burning Vine Whip, and casted: “Double skill: Beanstalk, plus replay of the Fire god’s withering.” His vines grew bigger and longer. It was covered with fire as it suddenly transformed into a bigger size, enough to make the Moonlit Wolf to be hit. Silver was expecting that the Moonlit Wolf would blink away danger. It did, alright. But Silver was shocked when the beanstalk vines had managed to touch and attack the beast. The wolf made of light had cried loudly as his body was being burned—even though he was made of light. Then, Silver remembered that the replay of the Fire god's withering can burn anything—he doesn't expect that even the light could be burned. But what makes him more wondering is that if the Moonlit Wolf used his blinking skills, it should have teleported into a more safer place. Into place where the beanstalk wouldn't hit him. Then, a thunder zapped beside him. From that, Yohanna appeared. She teleported. “Silver,” she immediately said. “Wh—What?” he was flustered with what Yohanna did. ‘A teleportation with the use of lightning. That was more like my shadow step,’ he thought. “I think I know how we can kill the wolf.” Yohanna's words made Silver's interest to be grabbed. “How?” “With the observ—” “Watch out!” Silver grabbed Yohanna's hand, hugged her, as he shadow stepped five meters away from their position. From the back of where Yohanna was standing earlier, the Moonlit Wolf's beam of light was travelling, hitting the walls, making the whole surrounding—perhaps the whole place to tremble. Yohanna’s face flashed with red and heat. She immediately detached herself out of Silver's hug, and made one huge swallowing of her own Saliva. Her chest pounded hard as if there was a revolution happening inside. “Come on, we have no time, Yohanna. Tell me,” Silver said. He wasn't aware (poor man) of what Yohanna was feeling in the moment. “I—It’s blink is only at limited spaces,” said Yohanna. “I—It can use blink, but it can only move in a short distance. And basically, it can be hit and was feeling the heat of your fire. My electric power does not have any effect.” “I see,” Silver said. He stared at the Moonlit Wolf. It opened its mouth, and casted another beam of light. Silver then countered it with the beam of fire from his Fire god's citadel. The two elements collided, and made a grave effect of chaos in the whole surrounding. “Support me, Yohanna. I know how to finish that creature.” Yohanna then, nodded, and they started to move. Another moon beam is what the wolf had released. But then, Silver was now used to its power. He slashed it effortlessly, and the power of the wolf disintegrated. The Moonlit wolf growled angrily, for even after the second attack, it wasn't able to exhilarate Silver. Silver was then ready. He shadow stepped. He appeared standing at the front of the wolf. Then, as it was about to attack him, it shadow stepped again. This time, at the Wolf's back, then another shadow step. Another, after another, leaving eight equally distanced and circular-formed marks at the surrounding of the now confused Moon Wolf. Then, finally, he shadow stepped above the wolf. A giant circular symbol appeared at Silver's feet as he steadily floats, clasping his hand. His vine whip was hidden, and chanted, “Bounding skill: Fyr Donjun!” The markings that appeared from where Silver stood when he shadow stepped, had rose. It connected to the wide symbol of fire god under his feet, making a cylinder of red light, bounding the Moonlit Wolf into panic, and sure death. The Moonlit Wolf tried to get and blink away of the cage, but the railing of the red lights—the pillars of light that stood—was actually as hot as the fire of Silver. It left few burns at its light-made body. Then, Silver, with a mischievous, deadly smile, had appeared at the wolf's front. Another Fire god's symbol appeared at his feet, the same width of the whole Fyr Donjun. “Skill: Replay of the Fire god's wither.” The whole thing that echoed inside the tower of Artemis, was the cry of the burning Moonlit wolf. Then, the metallic door at the center of the field, bursted in sudden and blinding light. A silhouette of a beautiful woman appeared. Silver had casted shadow step, aiming at the wolf's back, as he let Yohanna interrupt it at its front. He wildly slashed his vine whip, and caused a big wave of fire gushing towards the creature.
