Very early the next morning, Nayara sprung out of bed with a determined face. She was going job hunting to help Margaret with the bills. She put on a skirt suit , wore her hair into a tight bun and put on some light makeup. On her way out, she glanced at Margaret who was still at the dining table. She was asleep and the bills were sprawled out across the table. She gave a heavy sigh and smiled at her bitterly. " Don't worry, mum. Everything will be alright.” Said Nayara to herself and walked out the door. . . . . Nayara screamed in frustration and collapsed on a nearby bench. The whole day turned out to be a disaster. Throughout the day, Nayara went to different companies, getting interviewed and getting rejected. It was for different reasons too. Either it was because they weren't hiring, she lacked the necessary requirements or another unnecessary reason. Overwhelmed by exhaustion, she started to cry. Hot painful tears rained down on her face. She thought about Margaret and how she found her passed out on the dining table and it made her cry even more. She looked to her left and saw a flyer on a tree. She shuffled close to it and read it. The flyer read: “Need money?Have the gift of dance? Apply now! Strippers and/or pole dancers needed. Don't be shy. Show is what you've got. Come over to 27 Ombre Street at Club Eighty Nine.” At that moment, she didn't even think twice. She ripped the flyer and immediately took the bus to the club.
