Loredana's POV

Screwing up seemed to be on task for the next hour. But, I managed all the little fires and snuffed out the big ones. The King and Queen seemed to be doing just fine, As well as everyone in their group.

I was doing one more check of the hallway they were sleeping in and noticed two were outside the kid doors. The grey-streaked hair and the other who looked younger but without the scar.

"Do you need anything?" I asked walking up to them.

"We are fine, if possible though coffee would be awesome," the older one said.

"I will have the kitchen bring some up for you. Anything else?" I glanced at the other.

He was silent just shook his head no. "Well, then have a good evening." I smiled continuing down the hallway. I turned the corner to the small flight of stairs that led to my room. There I could let my hair down and pass out. The stress today was insane.

I had just let my hair down, putting on my tank top and PJ pants. When the knock sounded at my door. Odd. Walking I opened it to see the vampire standing in the hallway. "Yes?" I asked

"We forgot to ask when your pack does training. Do we have time in the schedule?" Athens asked.

"This pack trains from 6 to 7:30 am," I answered.

"Can we train with them?" Athens queried.

"Of course, they will be using the indoor, if you wish the outdoor will be available." I offered. "What time would you like to start?"

"6 am is fine." Athens turned to go, "you will train with us?" He inquired.

"I can, though I don't get to train often. The job gets in the way." I shrugged.

"We train no matter what." Athens smiled, "We will make you can too." Then he just disappeared. I was in shock, I never knew vampires could have these powers. I closed the door to my room. I needed sleep these guys I had would be testing me to the limits.

Maya's POV

"So?" I asked Athens when he came back into the room.

"She sleeps in a small bedroom above the Alpha's floor. She is a damphyr for sure." Athens leaned against the wall.

"Anything else?" Joe asked.

"Not really, she is chubby which tells me either she isn't allowed to train or too busy with whatever the pack is using her for too." Athens seemed interested but not overly.

"I have her coming to training with us tomorrow." He added as an afterthought.

"Well, then we shall see." Mortou pushed himself off the wall. "I am gonna check the tiny Alpha and get some sleep."

"Yes good plan since the drill Sargent is making us train tomorrow." I huffed giving Athens some side-eye.

"You will thank me later." He snickered as he left.

"When is Hawk going to destroy the lab?" I asked Joe.

"He left already, should be done by morning." Joe walked up to wrap his arms around me. "I have some plans with you." He rumbled, his tone turning sexy.

"Oh yeah, wolf? What do you have in mind?" I purred rubbing my hands down his chest and unsnapping his pants as I gazed into his brightly glowing green eyes.

"I think you and I need to work on your wolf tree climbing skills,' he cooed, as he scooped me up before I could do more with his pants. Plopping me on the bed, he finished unhooking his pants to let them fall at his feet with his boxers.

" Oh, you naughty wolf," I giggled yanking my shirt off and tossing it at him while squealing as he stalked toward me. Yanking my pants and undies at him, he snapped at my panties mid-air growling.

"You smell delicious," he groaned. I knew he could scent my arousal as I squeaked and yelped in mock fright.

Hawk's POV

I stood outside the lab Amber and Charity had been made. My beast was itching to charge in there and kill. I wanted to be smart. There were supposed to be big wigs coming. I wanted to make sure they were there. I planned to wipe the walls with their blood.

"Hawk," Athens mentioned next to me. "When do you want to do this?"

"Tonight, I am not waiting." I rumbled. "You saw Amber's file and know about Charity" I snapped.

"I get it, just remember to not try and kill me," Athens grunted.

"Not gonna kill you, get ready to take anyone they have in the cells to Mato," I added as I morphed into my beast.

"Well all righty then," Athens blinked out and I heard screams in the distance.

I charged forward, over the fence, and into the building seeing people scurrying and blood flying as we began to ransack this place. Blood streamed across the floor and walls as echoes of horror-filled screams danced down the halls. Athens and I both found the group of suits invited to this place in the board room. They were auctioning off young girls to the highest bidder. We didn't wait, breaking the door into splinters I took one side of the room Athens the other. The once-powerful thinking monsters were no more. The auctioneer we used to show us the cells. Athens began taking the girls back to Mato as I finished up the stragglers. The stench of blood and death filled the halls. I howled my enjoyment. Letting this side of the world know that Cacodemon has returned.

"I believe that was the last one," Athens said looking around the dungeon-type room.

"A something says to check the lab," I barked out.

"Then let's check the lab." Athens agreed. A smile I noticed plastered to his face as much as there was blood.

The lab doors slid open, as a volley of bullets rained down on us. I leaped up as they pelted me landing on the two men with military-grade automatic weapons. Ripping and slicing were done in seconds as death met them. Athens had grabbed the only scientist still in the lab. There is a tube with a fetus swirling around in it.

"What are you making here?!" Athens hissed at him.

"I make customized supernatural mates," he said matter of factually.

Surprising us that he had no fear. Athens and I shared a look. " What is this baby made of?" Athens asked.

"This one is is for our benefactor." The scientist huffed. "It was created of eight parts like the other female who survived. I growled Amber was mine.

"What eight parts?" I snarled.

"Fae, dragon, witch, troll, wolf, bear, cat, and the essence of Velito." He chirped.

"How long does the baby need to stay in the tube?" I rumbled.

"Just another hour until it's born." The man seemed stupid giddy.

We waited the hour, He released the child. Checking its blood to see if the links worked. As soon as the baby was known to survive I attacked ripping his head off.

"Take the child to Mato, I am gonna go to the office have files grabbed, and burn this s**t hole to the ground." I snarled. I would be better once back with Amber.

"Done," Athens said holding the little bundle as disappeared.

I raced to the records room grabbing what I needed and then used the firestone on the inside of it. Shattering it igniting the flames as it burned down every bit of the place I had wanted to destroy. I howled again letting Velito know that I was coming for his head.
