Chapter 30 Sarah“There’s something I have to tell you both,” Sarah said at Tea for Three. Sarah and Kate thought it would be nice to have their Tea for Three date out that day. The summer sun was shining, and it was too beautiful to spend the day indoors. They sat at their regular seats—the sofas—at Dockside. “Oh, do you really?” Louise asked, smiling widely. It didn’t escape Sarah that things were no longer the same. It hadn’t been for a very long time now. Whilst the three of them still enjoyed each other’s company and looked forward to Tea for Three, the conversations weren’t the same. “What is it?” Kate asked as she handed Louise her cup of tea. “This should be good to drink now,” she said. “I went to the abortion clinic.” Sarah said it quickly. There was no other way to say it.
