Legend 1
“I don’t understand why we have to send her there,” the older brother said as he looked at his father with a displeasing look. The two adults sighed, “It’s better for her there,” their mother replied. Still against their parents’ decision, the young boy continues to rant and mumble his disbelief and dislike of their unreasonable decision. It was rubbish as well as irritating knowing that his parents just quickly decided this without any of their knowledge. They just woke them up that very morning and started yapping about how his sister was going to a boarding school. It wasn't a suggestion nor was it something they could give them time to think about. It was an on the spot decision and the two siblings had no other choice but to comply. While her brother went on and on about the current event, the youngest couldn’t help but just sit there, quietly looking out the window, trying to understand the situation she was currently in. Her parents were sending her to a boarding school. But not just any boarding school, a school for supernatural people. She knew that much about the place but they were so vague about the situation. Still in the argument, her brother continued to ridicule his parents’ decision, “We can teach her everything we know at home!” He tried to negotiate. Irritated by his son’s constant ranting, their father couldn’t help but burst into frustration, “But we can’t teach her everything she needs to know in her life! Now, sit there and be quiet!” He aggressively looked back at his son who was now looking at him with utter shock. He looked at his daughter, who was also quite frightened hearing her father’s sudden harshness of tone. “Hon,” his wife said, carefully caressing his arm with a concerned look on her face. He took a deep breath before focusing his attention on the road, “It’s for her own sake” he said, more calmly. This time, the two siblings stayed silent. The older of the two couldn’t help but look at his sister with sorry eyes. Guilt was evident on his face, knowing he couldn’t do anything for her in this state. But the youngest just gave him a warm smile, completely understanding the situation. She was different from them. She knew that from the very moment she knew about their kind.  Looking out the window, she couldn’t help but wonder what she'd encounter there. She can’t keep her mind off the said school. A school where she ‘belongs’- according to her parents, that is. She sighs at the nearing sight of the said school.  ‘LYTRIOUS ACADEMY’ A school for magic. A school for their kind-- for Mythismas; A school where all magical beings come together. Well, that’s what she’s been told. She first learned about the world of magic and Mythismas at the age of 12, when her brother started to do extraordinary things. She was told about a world where people like them belong, a world where different creatures co-exist with one another. A world where the impossible turns possible. She felt a hand grab her shoulder, “Hey," she turned to see her brother, "We’re here,” her brother informed her. Her thoughts were then put on hold when she noticed their car was nearing a tall golden gate. The gate was crowded by different people or Mythismas as her parents mentioned. As the car entered the gate and onto the campus, she couldn't help but gaze upon the different architectural structures of the school. It was indeed as mesmerizing as they said, maybe even more than what others claimed it to be. The car stopped just at the side of the entrance of the main building. Her brother gave her a gentle smile before opening the car door. Seeing as her brother got off, she reluctantly opened the door next to her.  Stares and mesmerized looks sprung onto the young lady as she got out of the car to enter the establishment. Almost everyone couldn't help but admire the enthralling beauty of the new student.  Alina turned to look at her brother, who gave her a small tap before following their parents inside. Trying to act normal, but it was difficult as the younger felt every stare thrown at her by the other students and even some of the parents and maybe staff. She knew she was gifted with beauty. Her long hazel brown hair sits perfectly on her head. Her round-shaped face yet quite sharp features adds definition to her looks. Her red pouty lips and round-doe-like eyes shine with the sun to bring out its beautiful brownish color. But it wasn't just her beauty that caught others' attention, but also her tall and slender figure. Her height and curves are hugged by her white longsleeve dress and legs gorgeously enhanced by high-heeled boots that are placed perfectly on her. She was the epitome of beauty.  "Are you okay?" she heard her brother ask her. She looked at him with a meek smile, "Yeah. Let's go," she said as they both followed her parents to the headmaster's office.  "Hey," her brother called out to her, "Whatever happens, who you'll meet, what you'll see, and what you'll become. You're special. And you'll always be special, especially to me," he said, without even sparing her a glimpse. Her eyebrows frowned, "What do you mean?" she asked confusingly. He paused for a moment, "Never mind," he continued. He then began to sigh, "I can't believe I agreed to this." Although she was unconvinced, she could help but give a small giggle hearing her brother's whine. Being the only siblings, they were undoubtedly close to one another. For her brother, he was supposedly her knight, her shield, her prince, and the mere thought of being away from her was devastating for him. Heck, only the heavens know how they were able to convince him to let her go. "I'm not five, you know. I can handle myself, " she tried to reassure him.  He gave her an adoring smile as he ruffled her hair, "Yeah, I guess you can."  "We're here" they heard their mother say, who was slightly ahead of them, before entering the door in front of her.  After entering the door, they’re immediately greeted by the headmaster of the school. He was a rather middle-aged man with a fine and dashing coat and neatly tucked in hair– far from what Alina thought he’d look like.  The headmaster rose from his chair opening his arms in delight, “Finally, your parents agreed to enroll you here," he said, earning a series of chuckles from her parents.  "I’m headmaster Dawkins," he introduced himself, "Your parents and I were campmates in our time here in Lytrious. It’s nice to meet you, Alina,” He greeted her, offering the chair just in front of his table. She gave him a confused look before taking the seat she was offered, “Campmate?”
