Liam, a man who is usually calm and collected, couldn't help himself as he felt his heart race due to nervousness while waiting at the altar. But his wait was soon over as she appeared at the other end of the garden with her father hand in hand walking down the aisle slowly towards him. And all manner of questions, including personal questions like how many women you have dated or promised marriage to in the past and how they would be feeling now that Ashley Williams snatched you from them. But as usual in a high-end ceremony, every moment is an opportunity to talk about one's business, so while the reporters fired off questions to the newly wedded couples, no one paid them any heed as they were all busy talking about one business deal or the other. However, after the bodyguards successfully drove the paparazzi away, Liam's phone sounded signifying a message from one of his buddies who couldn't attend the ceremony physically but was watching the live broadcast. The message was asking him how he was able to get Ashley Williams to marry him and why he wasn't aware of the union. But Liam only smiled, keeping in mind that he had some explanations to make when he got back from their honeymoon in Germany. The reception was quick and went as quickly as it came. It was a blend of laughter, music, and toast. However, Liam couldn't bring himself to look away from his bride and he found himself feeling the happiest he had ever been in years. Little did he know the happiness would be short-lived. His mind kept on racing while he thought to himself that he had proposed a marriage of convenience to her, thinking she was just another struggling intern who needed help. He thought surely she must have enjoyed seeing him make a fool of himself. But, little did he know those were the moments that helped soften the ruthless Ashley William's heart towards him, and she accepted to be his bride because she found him interesting. Now that he is married to Ashley Williams, he vowed to make her proud and not make her regret her decision to marry him. Now, it was time for pictures. Both families came together for a family picture, since they are now a family with the help of the union of their kids. But even Liam's family was not necessarily in support of the marriage, since Ashley is a billionaire, but they couldn't do anything, since both Ashley and Liam care deeply for each other and none was willing to let the other go. Liam's mum made Ashley's mum promise she wouldn't interfere in their marriage and would let them live a life free from anger and bitterness. After the photo session, his father-in-law pulled him aside with a desire to talk to him right now. His father-in-law spoke about business as usual and how he shouldn't maltreat his daughter. He was told that if he dared maltreat her, his father i.e. Ashley's grandfather would come after him since she was his favorite grandchild. After the conversation with his father-in-law, Liam looked at his new family with contentment in his heart and thought I just got married to my boss's daughter.
