Chapter 3

Mary-Katheryn

I enter the classroom and sit in my chair, but I can't concentrate for anything. I just met my Mate, and he is the boy I've been crushing on for quite some time. It's totally awesome.

I'm somewhat mortified at some of the things that came out of my mouth during lunch. I can't believe I asked him if he found me unworthy. But I can totally understand he took so long to tell me. My stepdad would have a problem with our mating I'm sure.

But today I am going to celebrate finding my mate and my 17th birthday. When the festivities begin, I'm going to have my Mate with me, and since mates are sacred and all. No one will contest us, unless they wanna deal with my brother. So this is awesome!

Mary-Rose is gonna be so jealous that I found my Mate first. O.M.G. Mary-Rose! What am I gonna do? How am I gonna save my sister from the other Alpha's son?

I hope my brother shows up, because for me, I'm out since I have a Mate, but Mary-Rose is still eligible.

"Miss Dlamini? Miss Dlamini I asked you a question. Please focus." The teacher says that while snapping his fingers in my face.

"Sorry sir." I look up at the teacher and try to focus.

When the last school bell rings, he is standing outside my classroom, waiting for me. My smile when I see him could blind the world. "Hi" I say going on tippy toes to kiss his cheek.

"Hey, how was class?" He asks with this smirk like he knows I couldn't concentrate at all.

"It was awesome, I learnt new stuff, to add on the stuff I already know." I finish with a smile that could blind traffic with how big it is.

"Stuff huh?"

"Yeah stuff." We do the whole staring into each other's eyes thing, which is amazing, because his brown eyes are mesmerizing.

"You're doing it again, bro." That's his friend's greeting to us.

I look down totally embarrassed.

He picks up my chin. "Never be embarrassed of how we are. Only a few can rejoice at finding their true Mate. So be proud of what happens between us. Planed or not." He turns to his friend. "Can I help you sir?" He says in a British accent.

"Yes boy, it seems my ride has gone and gotten himself Mated, which I'm rather happy about myself. But now he keeps making googly eyes at the girl and seems to forget about the world around him. And I do believe he hasn't introduced himself to the girl." He looks at me at that point and I start giggling.

He continues in his own British accent. "And to further embarrass himself, he hasn't even introduced his Lord and Master. And I for one am appalled at his behavior." He turns to the side a little. "Aren't you miss Mary-Rose?"

I turn to see my sister approaching us. "Hi sisi."

"Hi, so..."

"Okay then. Let me introduce everyone. I'm Jason Sithole, this is my best friend..." Sipho clears his throat. Jason shakes his head and rolls his eyes. "Oh, right, this is my lord and master, Mr. Sipho Richard Eliot big mouth Mkhabela the second or junior, like his father calls him." He says with a bow to Sipho. My sister and I start giggling at the boys antics.

"We don't have that elaborate an introduction, but I'm Mary-Katheryn Dlamini and this is my older sister, Mary-Rose Dlamini."

Jason looks at me. "Aren't you guys twins? "

"We are, but I never let her forget who came out first." Mary-Rose says with a twinkle in her eyes and a big smile.

We walk to his car which is next to mine, and just form a little group while talking. We stand there for a while getting to know each other, forgetting about the outside world.

"What are you girls doing? You are late as it is." I turn around looking for the person who is shouting.

I see the pack Gamma he is the third in command. So having to come after us is kinda wrong for him, which is why he is so angry looking.

I try smiling. "Oh Tyler, you won't believe who I found" I say, which gives way to a real smile.

"Yes, you found an Omega and a Sentinel who will be demoted to Omega if he keeps standing there not helping me!" He finishes his sentence shouting in Sipho's direction.

He grabs me and my sister by the arms so we are walking lopsided. "Hey!" Jason shouts and moves towards us.

"Jason it's okay." I turn to Tyler before he realizes an Omega stood up to him. "We have our own car, and you're missing the point. I found..."

"I don't care! Do you know how your chum session has delayed the parade?" He shouts at us directing us towards his car. I look behind and see Jason following us like he wants to punch Tyler. I shake my head at him.

"And to keep your future Mates waiting..." As he says that Jason stops in his tracks looking hurt.

I break Tyler's hold on me and run to Jason. "Please, you don't understand..." I try to grab Jason's hand but get pulled away.

"You never told your friend you were promised to another?" Tyler gets this evil look in his eyes while smirking at Jason's hurt look. "Sorry Omega, she already has a Mate."

I look at Jason. He looks like he might faint. "Tyler let go. He is hurting. And he is my..." I try getting away from Tyler again.

"Hey little girl, are you nuts? Let's go now! Or do I have to kill an Omega first?" Kill him? He can't kill my Mate.

"But he is..." This time Jason is the one who interrupts me.

"Have fun at the parade with your Mate." His voice is void of all life as he speaks, which makes me stiffen and gives Tyler the perfect chance to pick me up and walk away.
