Chapter Thirty-Seven Nigel and Lisa walked into Citywide Parcels, expecting to see a hive of activity but there was only one person sitting in the office open to the public. Nigel introduced himself and showed her his ID. ‘How does your operation work?’ said Nigel. ‘We’ve migrated onto an app,’ said the woman. ‘Customers log their job. Our drivers bid for the jobs, and then pick up and deliver the ones they get.
