Chapter Thirty-Eight Harry scrolled through satellite images of Slade Station. It was barren country and he wondered how anyone made a living running sheep in such a desolate place. There didn’t appear to be many places a person could hide, unless they liked camping out in the open. He zoomed in on an image of the homestead. The collection of buildings looked more like a small village than a homestead. There were half a dozen houses and as many large sheds grouped around a ring of large water tanks. Harry guessed they’d be using artesian water, supplemented with rainwater whenever it was available, which he knew wasn’t that often in that part of the world.
