I headed in with the carts of food and then rolled them into the kitchen area of the suite. I will take care of them in a little bit. I want to go see how my mate is doing. I headed to the guest room that we had her staying in for now. I knock softly on the door to see if she is awake. There was no answer, so I assume she was asleep. I smiled slightly to myself. I am glad she is comfortable enough to sleep so well. I head back to the kitchen and start putting the food from the carts away. It takes about twenty minutes to stock everything in the fridge and pantry. She is still asleep so I just link one of the omegas to bring some food up to the Alpha suite so I can set it aside for her so she just has to heat it up when she wakes up. I don’t want to wake her up yet, but I know she is going to be hungry when she wakes up later. I go and sit down in the living room and pick up a book to read for now until she wakes up.

An hour later, I heard a door open and set down my book. I look over and see Rose coming out of her room and smile. “Did you sleep well?” She jumps a little and then looks over at me and smiles, “I did, thank you. What are you doing up here? Don’t you have things to do? I am sure as the Alpha you must be very busy. You do not need to take time away to come see how I am doing. I do not want to be a bother.” I smiled at her, “You are not a bother. I am your mate and you are my other half. I want to check on you and make sure you are doing alright because I care about you so much already. I promise you will never be a bother.” She looks unsure about what I just said, but she nods at me and then starts looking around. “It is really nice here. I have not been in a pack in so long, and it seems so weird to have so much space after only being in that treehouse haha. I mean I have not used a kitchen in a long time. I normally would just cook over a fire, but this is nice.” She wanders into the kitchen and I just watch her look around at everything for a while. There is a knock on the door and I head over to it. Two omegas are standing outside with some bags of clothing and a cart with dinner from the kitchens. “Alpha. Luna Avery asked us to bring some clothing for your guest and some dinner for you both.” They bowed, and I thanked them before bringing everything in. Rose looks over at me, then comes over to investigate the bags of clothing that were brought up for her. “What is all this?” “New clothes for you from my mom. She probably figured you would want something more comfortable than what we already had in the closet.” She pulls out some sweats and a tank top and smiles, “I like that your mom thought of me. I will need to thank her. This is perfect, it has been a while since I had some nice comfortable sweatpants to wear. I’ll be right back.” I laugh as she skips back to her room to change, bringing the bags with her to probably put away later. I bring the cart of food into the kitchen area and start pulling everything out and setting it up so we can eat together. She came out a few minutes later in her sweats and tank top. “What is all this?” “I had the omegas bring up some food for us to eat as soon as you woke up, so that you wouldn’t have to cook anything. I figured we could spend some time together and get to know each other.” She smiles at me, “I would like that. I feel like it was kind of rushed when we met. We just headed back to your pack.” “I know, I am sorry about that. Come and sit down to eat, and we can just talk for a bit and get to know each other better. I took the rest of the day off just to spend some time with you so that we could talk.” “You didn’t have to do that. I am sure you are very busy, since you are the Alpha.” “I am, but I also have people willing to help out when I just need some time to myself. And they are even more willing to help, since I told them that I needed to spend some time with my mate and get to know her better haha.” She blushes, “That was very nice of them then. Ummm… Are you going to announce me as your mate to your pack?” “Only when you are ready. I let my ranked members know, of course. But other than that, to everyone else right now, you are just a very important guest in my home. When you are ready for me to announce you and make it official, then I will tell the pack, and we can work on planning a ceremony for you to become Luna. My mom is willing to continue acting as Luna until you are ready, and then she said she would help train you for the duties. I also have the ranked ladies offering to help train you with battle training and other duties in the pack that a Luna should know. So you will have nothing to worry about there. They are all excited to meet you, but again, only when you are ready. Alright?” She smiles and nods at me, “I am more than willing to accept you as my mate. And I am willing to let you announce me to the pack as your mate whenever. I do not know much about being a Luna. I have been on my own for a long time. But I know that I feel complete and safe when I am with you. I do not want to leave, and I want to stay with you. I do not know if I am ready for the ceremony yet. But I am willing to start learning what I need to learn to be able to help you. I would still feel more comfortable in my own room for now while I get settled, but please do not be offended by that.” I smile so wide at her and give her a hug, “My dear, I would not be offended by that. Just knowing you are willing to accept our bond has made me the happiest wolf alive right now. I am so excited. Now please, sit so we can eat together. I am curious to know more about you and how you ended up in the woods in that treehouse.” She laughs and sits down with me. I set her up with a plate of food, then sat across from her. I am so happy right now. Everything is perfect.
