The Hybrid

-Claire's POV- "WHY!" Everyone in the mansion was stunned by the loud noise inside the study room, they kept silent and didn't utter any words as they heard their Luna burst into anger... No one wants to intervene as they know exactly what will happen if they do that. It's been 2 days since Claire bid her last goodbye to her Alpha... She is now leading the pack because of that and she is in deep pain, that she made a swear to make sure whoever did this to her beloved Alpha will pay the price. Life for life and they will pay 10 folds. Today, she discovered that her friend, Olivia is the one who poisoned her beloved Alpha...not just an ordinary wolfsbane poison, it's a mixture of wolfsbane and witch potion that even their best doctors in town cannot stop the spread of the poison to the body of her Alpha... My Alpha...how I missed you... "ANSWER ME OLIVIA!" -Blake's POV- "What the hell happened here? " He asked as he arrived at the mansion Window's and furniture are broken into pieces, it's like there was a storm inside the mansion and no one opened their mouth to answer... All of a sudden, he heard the shouting, crying, and wait....did I just heard a body slowly being ripped apart? Blake immediately went up to the study room and as soon as he entered the room...he noticed Olivia on the floor...as soon as he grabbed Olivia, a silent howl is all he heard, and Olivia's last breath... Shocked at what he saw, he focused his attention on Claire. She is still covered with blood and looking at her, he can conclude that Claire is the one who ripped the heart of her future wife...Olivia! His brows closed as if it's one line and he couldn't help but reach out to Claire in an instant...he wants to rip her apart just like what she did to Olivia, but he can't... -Claire's POV- Still bursting in anger,  she called the wolf guards to burn Olivia...her traitor friend She then looked at Blake...as if saying:" I'm just getting started" Claire stared at the lifeless Olivia and went back looking at Blake's eyes who can't still believe this is happening...  "GET LOST Blake and bring your S**T with you if you do not want my pack to burn her!, Don't even go near here...I swear, If you are part of Olivia's doing to my Alpha, I will not hesitate to have your head ripped off your body! 'I need to get out of this room...I can smell the blood of that B***h and I can't stand it!' "Make sure to clean this mess! I don't want any bloodstain of that B***h in my house!" - Claire shouted to the maids of the mansion  She then went to their room...closed the door and locked it so no one can go inside. My friend poisoned my husband...I cannot believe her telling me about it...I can still remember how she did it. All along, Olivia has feelings for my Alpha...How can I not see that? I was blinded by the fact she is my friend which doubled my burden because she would rather kill my Alpha than seeing him with me. I didn't realize it was already dark and I feel tired...so tired from crying and thinking about what just happened.  I heard knocks on the door, and I forgot that I locked it so no one would dare to come in... "What is it?" I shouted "Claire, you haven't eaten since this morning. I have some food for you, please eat this and don't forget to take care of yourself, sweetheart..." "Just leave it there mom, I will eat later...I just want to be alone for now"  -Julia's POV- I couldn't help but sigh, Claire has always been bubbly and cheerful. But after what happened, she always wants to be alone...I can't blame her though. First, she lost her mate and now she learned her friend is responsible for that, and because of anger she instantly killed Olivia. If that's not enough yet, she also ordered Blake to get lost and not be seen in the Blue Moon Pack Territory, which is not a good move as we no longer have the Alpha and Beta warriors in our pack leaving Claire to step up and take full responsibility. While walking in the hallway, Julia remembered a letter that Kurt wrote for Claire...Kurt told her to give it to Claire after the Pack meeting but never got to chance to do it because of what happened. The moon shines so brightly that it lightens up the living area of the mansion as the wind from the window made the curtains dance. The only thing you can hear is some pack warriors still training at this time outside. Julia approached the door that leads to the study room and went straight to the mahogany counter drawer where they keep important documents. She checked the documents one by one to if the letter was one of them until she was able to see an envelope with Claire's name handwritten by Kurt.  She holds it tightly, and breathe a couple of times, and looked around the study. Her eyes were glued on the Gold Picture Frame hanging on the wall that was hand-painted by his son in law. Kurt and Claire indeed make a perfect couple, they were happily married and love each other like there's no tomorrow. The hand-painted photo was eye-catching as both Claire and Kurt's photo was captured when they did their first dance as husband and wife during the reception. You can see their glittering eyes and the smiles on their lips while face to face with each other. She couldn't help but sigh...if only she can take the pain away from her daughter or replace Kurt instead when he was poisoned. She will do it, with no questions asked... She closed the drawer and hold the letter close to her heart as she made her way back to Claire's room...
