He has black hair with very beautiful blue eyes, a cold and charismatic person.

I often see his work which is very good and my favorite, a painting of a toddler girl in a pink dress.

I thought it was an ordinary painting, but not for people who claim to know his dark past.

They say, the toddler painting is a manifestation of his mental illness which has an affinity for young children.

Robert William Stanley or Adam Joseph McCartney, a sadistic killer who had the heart to brutally murder his parents when he was 12 years old.

However, I couldn't believe the rumors. How could someone as handsome and great as him is a murderer?

People say, don't look at a book by its cover. But, is it true that my favorite lecturer is a murderer?

Prologue
Court, Manchester, England August 1, 2000 In front of the court, it was filled with people who wanted to see first hand the criminal case proceedings which became one of the dark notes in the City of Manchester. "You're devil's son!" Shouted the women holding the paper with the words 'Justice for Ariana' and 'Send a rebellious child to prison' Shouts. "Rebellious boy! Demon possessed!" Cursing. "As tough a law as possible, don't let that psychopath kid get free!" Pity. "Poor innocent toddler, she had to lose her parents." Yes, all those words did not stop echoing in the Manchester City, even in Great Britain. A case that for most people is very hard to believe. Inside the courtroom. A boy with light brown hair and blue eyes sat in the sick chair with a blank, cold gaze and to those who were watching, those eyes seemed filled with an inexplicable hatred. Judges, Prosecutors, Media and all elements gathered to witness this emotionally draining trial. A man with a thick mustache, standing arrogantly stepped right in front of the 12 year old boy who did not really understand what he was going through in this place. "You killed your parents by stabbing them, didn't you want to say something to defend yourself one last time?" "No." He answered. His expressionless eyes making people shudder. It's hard to imagine, how could a child do such a heinous thing? "Your Majesty, I think everything is clear. Even the police already know the motive for his actions. That's all I want to say, Your Majesty!" He said as he stepped back into place. Everyone is waiting for the trial to proceed, expecting the same thing, namely the maximum sentence for the 12 year old boy who killed his parents on March 17, 2000 and today is the final trial that will determine his fate. "Adam Joseph McCartney was found guilty and must serve a sentence of 12 years in prison!" Knock ... knock ... knock ... Hammering was heard filling the courtroom. Outside the court, hysterical cheers could be heard from the British citizens who were escorting the proceedings. The boy showed no signs of fear, panic or depression, no tears came out. He looks so calm, as if he has no emotions. As two policemen took him back in the car to the detention building, the people lining the street greeted him as he walked past them with shouts. "Damn boy! You're dead!" Shouted a woman who was furious with his actions. Brruukkk... Several people threw tomatoes at him and hit him in the face. "Yeay ... feel it! May you rot in prison forever!" *** The Detention Center, Manchester, England 3 August 2000 A woman takes a deep breath and exhales slowly, it is quite a task for her to handle a case like this. Although it was she who volunteered to examine the mental condition of the boy who was nicknamed 'Little Sociopath' Adam Joseph McCartney, but somehow she felt awkward every time she met him. "Doctor Teresa, please come in!" Said a warden who opened the door to a special room. "Thank you!" She said as she stepped into the room. The warden opened the door until it made a squeaky sound amidst the silence. Suddenly the hair on the woman's neck stood up, the air that came out of this room made her feel tense. In this small room, the boy is sitting alone with his eyes wandering. Making anyone who looks directly into his eyes will find it difficult to find an answer, how can this angel-faced boy do something heinous beyond limits such as killing and torturing? "Good afternoon, Adam? Here I come again!" She said as she walked slowly toward the boy who was still motionless. Doctor Teresa Lewis gave the code for the warden to leave the two of them, of course they weren't really abandoned. In this room, three cctv cameras have been installed which will record everything he says and how his facial expressions express his heart's content. Doctor Teresa immediately pulled out a chair and sat opposite Adam Joseph McCartney who was staring coldly at him. "We meet again, by the way, this is our third meeting, right?" Doctor Teresa tried to open the conversation so that the atmosphere was not too tense. However, this boy still replied with a flat stare. Since the court's decision a few days ago, it seemed like the furor that had occurred in this city, even in almost the entire country, had slowly died down. Certainly because this boy had received the punishment he deserved, even though most people thought that punishment was still too light. Remembering the fate of his little sister who was very sad with severe wounds all over her body. "Ugh ..." Doctor Teresa shivered every time she remembered the condition of the toddler girl who was also the victim of the brutality of the boy sitting opposite her. "You don't miss your sister?" Doctor Teresa asked, perhaps this was the right opening question for her to ask. Remembering that only the toddler survived the terrible tragedy. "No." He replied dryly. Doctor Teresa shuddered, really the reaction he showed was completely beyond human reasoning in general. "But she's your little sister, right? You don't love her?" "No, I hate her!" "Hate? So, you did it because you hated her?" "Yes, I hate her!" "What about your mom and dad? Don't they love you so much?" "I hate them." He replied dryly, but seemed very cold. "Oh my God, what's wrong with him?" Thought Doctor Teresa. It seemed, she understood why the previous psychiatrist had decided to step down from this task? Because for her it was too terrifying to grasp by common sense. Even after she left the room, a tense atmosphere was still felt. For 60 minutes and 20 questions she asked, no answer came out of his mouth other than the words "I hate them." "Are you all right, Doctor?" Inspector John Smith asked, one of the policemen who was tasked with securing Adam Joseph McCartney at his home five months ago. "Ah ... yes, I'm fine. Are there any developments on Ariana McCartney?" "Have you seen her condition?" "Yes, I saw her two weeks ago in the hospital. I think, I really can't bear to see the condition of her body!" "Very badly, there were collision wounds to the skull behind her, broken ribs, burns to her legs and back and very severe bruises almost all over her body!" "How come no family or neighbors are aware of her condition? Doesn't anyone care?" "According to some neighbors, the family looks like a normal family in general, even very harmonious. Edward and his wife, Isabella McCartney are very kind and affectionate parents. So, the chances are that they are deliberately hiding the boys' actions. They do to protect him from the law." "But her conditions are so bad, how could they? Agh, I don't understand, why they let this happen just like that?" "Adam is very close to his parents and both parents also really love him. He is a smart kid at school and also talented, he is a normal kid in the eyes of others. That's why, no one thought this terrible thing could happen." "I feel like he's still got something to hide, whether it's another crime he committed or the real reason he did all this." "But, haven't you heard the answer yourself?" "That's not enough, Inspector Smith. I still have a long way to go, I still have to work on his mental state and that will take a while. He still has a chance to grow into a better person!" "He already has a very bad track record. It will not be easy and this incident will continue to haunt him for the rest of his life." ***
