Ada followed Etienne and walked through the grimy doors of a building that had seen better days. She kept to his back as she looked around her at the building and the state of it. They walked through another set of doors that led into a main room. There was a variety of chairs and sofas that were filled with a fitting variety of people. She stepped around Etienne to inspect her surroundings more. She didn’t shy away from the dirty faces that were sitting around. Ada took her time to look into the faces around her. Faces that had lost hope and barely casted any glances her way. Ada continued looking around as a woman approached Etienne. She murmured formalities and thanked him for his presence.
“What can we do for you, Your Majesty?”
