“Why do you defend him? He’s bad news, maybe not to you, but ever since I turned 18, he’s been all over me,” Ethna chuckled, voicing her frustration.
I couldn't deny Ethna's words, but compared to Austin, who's not even willing to wait until I'm 18, Micky doesn't seem that bad.
“Well, let's not forget, Austin's ready to mate at 17, so Micky's a saint in comparison. He's waited quite a bit, hasn't he?” I pointed out.
Given Micky's older age compared to Ethna and me, he knew she was his mate long before she even discovered her wolf. It puts things in perspective, making Micky seem more patient than Austin.
“That's true, but now he's 23, and I don't know how much longer he'll wait for me,” Ethna's expression shifted as she voiced her concerns.
