Chapter 17 : She's Dead Meat

Most members of the group gasped. "Really?" The red haired girl asked.

"Yeah, I heard that too, it's lurking around the underground." The gray haired guy stated confirming the issue.

I tighten the hold at my spoon.

"Tch. Do you even believe that? They're just rumors, and to think a person can do that? It's impossible! It's just a legend and to the fact that was a year ago, no one even believe that crap anymore." The guy who is playing in his phone the whole time snapped.

"It's real. The Silencer is real. If not, how can you explain what happened a year ago. Carlo also wouldn't exist if it's just a mere fiction." The guy in a headphone explained that put the other guy in silence.

"That's true! My baby Carlo exist. He's so strong and I've seen it!" The red haired girl said.

Tch. Baby Carlo. I smirked.

"Xenon is stronger than him!" The girl in a ponytail yelled to the red haired girl.

Then I felt someone waving a hand in front of me. When I looked up, it's from Cassy.

"What happened to you? You were out of the blue." She said curiously.

"Nothing." I shrugged.

"Owkay." She said and take a sip in her cup.

I looked at Drena to see her face looked confused, she's thinking hard. I just eat in silence, ignoring it.

Then everyone went in silent when the door opened.

"That b***h again!" Cassy murmured holding her spoon tightly.

"Shh! You might be heard Cassy." Drena said in a whisper.

"I don't care! It's true!" Cassy stated in a harsh whisper.

So I guess it's Daniela, and I've never been wrong in my guessing. I didn't dare to take a look at her as I drink water from my glass and eat my food.

Suddenly a broken glasses and splash of water was heard "Oh! I'm sorry Miss Dane!" I heard a feared voice of a girl and a gasped coming from Daniela.

I take a look at it the moment I heard the feared voice of a girl. She looked like a nerd with a big eyeglass and three books in both of her hands, her black hair is loosely braided. She's quivering in fear. I bit my lower lip.

The students started gossiping to each other. I continue eating my foods ignoring what's happening around.

"Sorry!? Did you see what you've done to my precious uniform!?" She snapped and then I hear a punch that made the nerdy girl falls down on the floor. Hard.

Drena gasped and slapped her hands on the table aiming to stand up. I hold her hands before she stand up, which made her immediately looked at me. I shake my head slowly signaling a 'no' to her and continue eating my food.

She calmed down and decided to ignore the harsh actions of Daniela to the poor girl. While Cassy is resisting the urge to fight.

We went out of the restaurant after we finished eating our foods in silence, no one dared to talk which is not normal for the two.

I heard from the gossip that the girl fight back to Daniela but was beaten up and brought to a hospital. Pain. I felt my eyes get dark and then red for a moment. I needed pain.

My fourth class already ended and I'm on my way to my last class, the Physical Fighting Class. As soon as I enter the gym Drena called my name, signaling me to come to her.

The students gathered and standing in the middle while waiting for the instructor. Suddenly, the boys came to silence, the girls started giggling, while the others are mumbling in a sweet way.

I felt Drena stiffened, I looked at her, her eyes are blazing with anger. I turned my attention to where she's looking at and saw two tall guys coming in, from the door, they have good looks and they are very intimidating, I can't deny the fact that they can be a famous model.

The guys are wearing the same PE uniform, so they'll be with us huh. I looked at the guy with a sort of 3 inches hair that cover the half of his left eye as he looked at us specifically at Drena with a... longing eyes? I felt Drena looked away. There is something between them, and it's not an assumption.

I see, they are the reason the girls got so noisy...

The other guy is wearing an eye glass, but still intimidating, he doesn't look nerdy at all because of his posture shouting confidence. Both of them. His white skin contrasts with his facial look. I can sense their strength, it's strong, they can give a good battle compared to anyone in here.

Don't get me wrong but I've been with strongest people and I thought I can also find it in this school. I rarely find one, and that only includes the two of them and the Coby guy, but still, they cannot be compared with Carlo's. My senses never failed me, I can feel their own strength and capacity.

I looked in front before they can sense me staring at them, but I think they can't, because most girls are staring at them.

The instructor have come and made us warmed up, while doing so, I can sense the guy looking at Drena and somehow Drena glances at him. Tch. I sensed the guy coming to us, he's halfway when Daniela called him and made him face her.

"Adrian! Do you know where Xenon is?" She asked eager for an answer.

Drena and I are busy doing stretching but my ears are awake.

"I don't know and don't talk to me." He said as he went back to his friend who's busy doing a jumping rope.

"Agh!" Daniela stomped her foot in irritation.

I looked at front as the teacher called us for another instruction.

"Listen guys and girls! I will pair you up, so you and your partner will have a battle together at our class for the whole sem. They will be your training partners, or you might call it a sparring partner." He instructed as he continue explaining more, then he started calling names for partners.

"Drenalyn Montero and Adrian Imperial..." I smirked while Drena gasped and looked at Adrian with anger, while Adrian bite his lips hiding the smile that wanted to show up. She's cursing lowly now.

"Daniela Morales and..." I felt Drena hold my hand "Claire Tan." she squeezed it while cursing.

I took her hand and hold it to calm her, she breathed out.

"She's dead meat." I heard a guy said.

"She's done." A girl stated.

"One punch and she's knock out!" A guy said laughing.

The students started mumbling I looked at Daniela to see her smirking at me, her eyes are hungry to fight with me.

I can't help a smirk flows from my lips just for a moment, which stopped her and glared at me. I can see the guy in an eyeglass smiled at me, he sees my smirk... The Adrian guy looked so serious from the announcement of my name and Daniela as partners.

"Go now to your partners and start your training!" The instructor shouted while clapping, for all of us to hear and move.

Before Drena walked away from me I held her wrist.

"Never dared to stop a battle, especially mine." I looked at her with a serious face. I will get what I wanted today.

She looked shocked to see my face, she never saw me had any emotions, but just now. She nodded at me.

"Promise me." I ensured.

She was hesitant for a moment but then "I promise." She said but held worry.

I walked passed her and went to my position.

Daniela position in front of me while I just stand there waiting for a hit. Pain.

She laughed "You? You look like someone who can't fight." She said between her laugh, so I smirked.

I just want to play along with people. Did I do it right? Well, I guess not because she quickly lunged at me for a punch, but it did not made me move in my spot. Just my head, then I felt blood on my lips. My own blood. I felt my eyes sparkled for a moment but no one can see as my head was lowered.

I heard gasped coming from the students, maybe because she gave her strongest punch which made a noise. I want it to last, I have to think how. I looked up smirking, ensuring that only she can see. It made her more angry and she gave a flying kick, I want to look normal as I acted falling in my knees.

"See? You don't know how to fight! Fight me! Fight me!" She's yelling desperately.

I stand up slowly looking like it's difficult, giving an act as I looked at her "That's all? Such a baby." I whisper lowly wanting only for her to hear.

The students are noisy while watching us? Don't they have a battle of their own? Well, it's better because no one can hear me except her. They might think I'm mute.

I spotted Daniela's weakness, she's sensitive. I smirked more to myself. Pain.

She punched me twice that I decided to act backing away, it's hard to act when I'm yearning for it. The moment I acted to stumble back, she pushed me which made me fall down and she jumped above me. Enough for my face so I blocked my hands in front of my face. She started punching my stomach many times, she's breaking my ribs, as I heard a whisper-yell coming from Drena "No!"

I looked at her to see her crying while Adrian is caressing her back, she's resisting the urge to stop the battle. I smirked she took my words.

She's been punching me so many times breaking my ribs. A normal person who can't fight in this state definitely be dead from the start. But I'm not. She may think my ribs are broken with the use of her strongest punches, she's getting tired by her own.

She's been cursing many times in my face, I just let it happen. My bones are more than a metal, it can't easily be broken as it was broken many times or there's nothing left to be broken? I smirked more to myself again.

Carlo can't satisfy me and she's not even half to Carlo's strength. This is stupid, why did I ever choose to stay in this school? Why did I choose this school? There's a part of me that pulled me in here, and I'm already here so there's no backing up.

I felt her loosen in me, when I looked up, Mr. Cleo is already holding her tight.

"You b***h! Lousy! Coward! You can't even fight! So don't call me a baby!!" She's trying to get out of the instructor's hold. Tch. I'm not satisfied yet. I let my head fall down which made my hair hide both sides of my face.

I felt two hands helping me to sit up, Drena. So I go with it. She's supporting me until I stand up. I can stand on my own, but I have to stay with the act so I just let her, but she can feel it, she can feel that I don't need a support as I don't let out a weight on her...

"Class dismissed!" Mr. Cleo said to the students.

I sensed him faced Drena "Bring her to the clinic, and Claire" he called my name "take a 3 days rest, you're excuse but I'm expecting you in my class next week." He dragged Daniela with her which I can still feel wearing a deadly glare at me.

I smirked at myself, mine can kill you. But my face is wearing blank.

"Woah! What a good scene! How come you're still alive?" The guy in an eyeglass said shocked but smiling widely, Adrian is beside him, still doze out. But I didn't dare to look at them as I stayed looking down.

"Shut up, Lucas!" Drena said angrily as we started walking, with her still supporting me.

"What the! Are you serious!? You can still walk!?" Lucas' voice get loud like he saw a miracle in front of him. I ignored him and continue walking away.

I'm far, but I can still hear them "Adrian! Have you seen it? Her feet is still moving! I think I'm dreaming!" He said with unbelievable voice.

"Me too." Adrian murmured. The students are still gossiping to one another.

Some students are roaming around, most of them are still having their classes. They give glances at me for a moment and went back to their businesses. This incidents are normal as it happens everyday seeing a bruised person.

"Next time please fight, or at least try to dodge, or just go away! You'll get yourself killed by that b***h!" Drena has been yelling at me all the way, her tears constantly flowing down her cheeks. She's been lecturing me what to do which I don't actually listen.

We are on our way to the clinic but when I sensed no students around, I get out of Drena's hold. I took my arms out of her shoulder and walked straight to our room.

"Hey! Where are you going?" She asked following me, her face held confusion from my actions, she wipe her tears using the back of her hands.

"To the room." I plainly answered.

"But you're wounded! Don't you even feel it!?" She's angry now, she wanted me to go back to the clinic. My medicines are much more effective than their's.

"I don't." I told her the truth. There's no reason for me to lie on her. And I hate lying, it's different from hiding. Isn't it?

"What!? Are you serious!?" She looked at my face to see me wearing a serious look.

"You're serious." She said lowly more to herself. "You have to give an explanation when we get inside the room, I can't ignore it anymore!" She's clearly frustrated.

I know she had already sensed something about me, that's why I already stopped pretending on her. But I won't stop hiding, not yet.

As we reached our room, I went in front of the mirror to see a bruised line near the side of my lips. It looks small, just an inch, probably her ring that caused the bleeding. I don't see a scar, my body is immune to it. So, weak hits like that can't cause bruises or scars on me. No marks from her except this thin line near my lips.

Drena also looked closer at my face searching for something. She let out a small gasped "How come you didn't have bruises in your face?" She looked so shocked.

"Her punches are weak." It's true, I have received so many punches and her's didn't even reach a half of any of them. Uncle Dos and Carlo.

She let out an O face and "You're kidding me right!? You're talking about the strongest girl in this academy, her punches can kill! And by the looks of the punches she gave you, you might be dead by just three of them!" She looked at me up and down. "I won a judo competition but I can't even compete with her! And looking at you, it seems like nothing happened!" She snapped at me.

"'Coz nothing happened." I simply stated as I took a bottle of cream in my closet, and put some of it in the wound near my lips. I decided to lay down on my bed and closed my eyes.

"Don't leave me hanging! I'm talking to you, can you please talk to me properly, who are you?" I felt her closed her eyes and take deep breaths calming herself.

I opened my eyes to see her staring at me intensely "Just ignore me and mind your own business." I stated blankly, I don't want to hear anything, anymore...
