She's naughty but adorable (Audrey's pov)
“what the! How did he find my backpack from?" was the nagging thought that crossed my mind. My leg ached me so much that I sat down on the table he was drawing before. The cleaners were trying to clean up the mess I made.
The little kid walked up to me and asked, “Lady, I'm doing a report for my school project, so seeing how clumsy you are, I decided to do it on you." I giggled, not knowing if I should find it funny or insultive, but she was cute; she looked about 12 years old; she packed her hair in pigtails; she was a brunette just like me. “Since you are so cute, what do you want to ask me?"
"Lady, were you born clumsy or did a childhood accident make you this way?" Her mom came and dragged her away. “I'm so sorry. I went to use the bathroom, and by the time I got back, I couldn't find her on the chair. I left her," her mom explained, looking slightly embarrassed. “Oh, I understand. I have a little brother. He's also a pain, but in a good way." I said, Oh, that's nice, so we are all good." Her mom asked, “Yeah, we're good." I replied with a smile.
"Pop up question, what do you mean by pain in a good way because in all my twelve years of being alive I haven't experienced that, there is either hurtful pain or no pain at all?" the little girl asked again. “Come on, Zoe, stop bothering the nice lady, okay?" her mom said as they were walking away. Well, more of her mom dragged her away. I smiled. She was naughty but adorable.
The next day at school, we were all submitting our art project to Mr. Murdock. When I spotted Chad, he saw me, but what he did next was so shocking. “Mr. Murdock, I made a painting of my muse, and I shall reveal it to the entire class," he said enthusiastically. I started praying that what he said shouldn't be me, but to my horror, he drew a picture of the both of us holding hands in such a way that our fingers formed a heart. It was embarrassing.

Audrey didn't really talk to me this morning in our dorm. I could tell she was mad at me, even though I didn't do anything wrong. I noticed the expression she had on her face when Chad said he had a painting of his muse, and then when he brought out the portrait of the two of them, although the painting wasn't professional, you could still tell that it was the two of them. Audrey left the class, and I ran after her. I caught up to her, just staring into the cloudy sky.
“What are you doing here? Come to tell me I'm looney again," she said. “Okay, Audrey, I never said you were looney; it's just, let's face it, you said some pretty hard things to believe even though some of them seemed pretty far-fetched to me." She interrupted me. “If you came here to apologize, you are doing a pretty bad job," she said, and I sighed. "Audrey, I'm sorry. Could we just go back to the way things were?" I said. “Sure," she replied as I hugged her, and I spotted something, or moreso, someone spying on us, but I couldn't make out what it was. I blinked my eyes, and it was gone.

It was nighttime, the sun had set, and I was approaching the garden slowly, but I was somehow feeling excited, though I couldn't tell why. I finally go to the place. The guy I met at the diner said I should meet him, but I didn't see anyone. I was slightly upset but just shrugged it off too. I was just too early. I kept on admiring the beauty of the garden when I heard a voice say, "You are late.".
(Audrey's pov)
“You say that, but yet you didn't give me a time limit," I protested. He just stared at me as he gave me a paint brush and a little can of paint. “Try not to spill this one,” he said a little bit harshly. I looked at him, upset. “Hey! Whats that supposed to mean?" I asked him, annoyed now, “I'm just saying you are not the best when it comes to handling things with care." I was mad, but sadly, he was right.

I noticed while painting that she was smiling. I was enjoying the serenity of the garden as the wind was blowing gently, and she spoke up, “You know, strange guy, I have never seen you here before. Are you new in town?" I didn't feel like answering, so I didn't. “Oh, man of mystery, huh, okay, what's your name? Where do you live? Do you go to school? I could do this all day, dude, unless you give me an answer," she said. Damn, she's feisty; it's annoying. “Alright, fine, my name is Zachary," I said, hoping she'd just keep quiet and finish the painting. “That sounds like an old man's name; have you ever thought of hyphenating? You know, like, I don't know, maybe Zach," she suggested with wide hands placed on her chin.
“Enough about me, tell me about you," I said, wondering what her reaction would be if she knew the truth about me. I saw the way she reacted when she saw Fergus transform; I don't want her to have the same terrified look about me. “Me, well, there's nothing much to say." “Come on, everyone has a story." I said, “Okay, I'm Audrey; my dad gave me that name." Her voice quivered as she mentioned her dad. “What's wrong?" I asked, “Well, when I was little, I was eight years old, I think:

"Honey, guess what?" my mom said. “Pls don't tell me you need a new hair dryer. You just got a new one like two weeks ago." my dad said. “Well, my hair dryer works perfectly. Thank you very much, but that's not it." my mom said as she motioned to her stomach. “Audrey is going to have a baby brother!" She said excitedly as my dad went and hugged my mom really happily, “Oh my God, we are going to name him little Audrey." My dad said well, he wasn't the best at picking names.
When I come back tomorrow, we are going to celebrate, okay guys? Audrey is going to buy you anything you want; I'm so happy," my dad said, kissing my mom. “Gross," I said, partly covering my eyes. "He had gotten the night shift; well, he worked with a construction company; they were trying to construct a road near the forest. I was so eager to wake up the next day, and finally the next day had come. I heard a knock on the door, and my mom and I hurriedly went to open it, but the look on the men's faces signified that something was wrong. “Mr., where's my daddy?" That was all I could ask, but my mom told me to go inside. “And that was the last time I ever saw my dad; they said that he disappeared under mysterious circumstances." "I'm sorry," Zachary said. “Yeah," I said.
(Zachary's pov)
She said he disappeared under mysterious circumstances. I was terrified because I had a hunch about what had happened to him, but I needed to be sure. I watched Audrey put the finishing touches on her painting, so I just wanted to lighten up the atmosphere a bit. “You know, you just started painting without asking for the details of my painting you ruined previously." "Well, sorry I thought you wanted me to repay you for the painting I ruined, so I just thought a painting for a painting, you know, like saying an eye for an eye," she said, slightly annoyed.
“Nope, I wanted the exact one that you destroyed," I said, knowing that I was pushing her buttons. “Then why didn't you say that from the start? You just stood there and watched my paint all this time, knowing that this isn't what you wanted, and again, how are you expecting me to make a painting of something I have never seen before?" she said, raising her hand up, still holding her paint brush, and then a little bit of paint dropped on her nose. I went closer to her.
“you have a little bit of paint on your nose" I said pointing to it she tried cleaning it but she wasn't just getting it so I brought my hand forward and decided to help her she stared right at me and I felt slightly light headed like nothing else mattered at this moment except her, the wind kept blowing and her hair swayed to it's rhythm and her face was coming near mine then I saw something behind us in the bushes and I pulled away from her “im sorry" she said “no I'm the ones who is sorry, I have gotta go" I said as I just left her and started moving in the direction I the object I saw, I could hear Audrey say something but I didn't pay too much attention to her, as soon as I was iut of sight I started running really fast and the person I was chasing to was equally fast, to fast to be a human, I morphed slightly and increased my pace and I finally caught up to him, I pulled behind the hoodie that the person wore and I saw......
