CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Christy remained on the floor for several moments after the others had left. She'd never been so humiliated in her life! She'd become an animal, doing anything they commanded in order to survive. How vile could human beings be? How low would they sink?
She pulled herself up, first on her elbows and then into a sitting position. What would Francie think of her after what she had been forced to do to her?
