The entire room was gloomy, and only the moonlight supplied illumination. When I felt a cold hand slowly moving over my leg, I was frightened., my terror grew even stronger as a demon-like laugh permeated the entire room at the same time as the thief gradually appeared figures of various parts of some bodies beginning to sprout in every corner of the room. A woman's head emerged from the ceiling directly above me; I recognize her but don't recall where I seen her. When her eyes opened, I almost screamed, "uoar..." she muttered, as if groaning. "gsuw8uwj" It continue speaking but i couldn't understand then something shook the bed and looked to be pushing it up, my heart almost sprang out of my body. As my bed steadily climbed into the ceiling, where a head awaited, I attempted to get out of it. My bed soared up swiftly, till it stopped right near the ceiling, there was an inch difference between the two of us, I was swallowed by saliva due of the closeness, and I also noticed that I could move. She was still moaning something, my heart is beating too fast. "oourjd....F-fresh," she said; muttering my name, her voice sounds familiar, my eyes widen as i realized who was she. there's no way i couldn't forgot her. "A-athena," I muttered, stuttering. I couldn't believe it, how could I have woken up from a dream? I immediately got up, but someone stopped me with their hands, they came out and surrounded my entire body, until one of them covered my mouth. Athena's smile deepened, and I tried to scream but couldn't get away, even though I struggled a few times as the darkness slowly gobbled me up. Once I reopened my eyes, I leapt to my feet and dashed to my bathroom to vomit everything I had eaten the night previously, then I washed my face to loosen up, sat on the bathroom floor, and took a deep breath; I had not expected her to appear in my nightmare; that happened a long time ago and I will never forget it in my entire life. I only wish I hadn't taken her home before; I'm certain she's still mad with me untill now she hadn't forgive me. "Fresh, are you okay?" a concerned Mina approached me, "I heard you shout so I'll get here soon," she said as she knelt next to me. "I'm alright, I just drank too much coffee," I replied as I rose up, but she stopped me. "You still having those nightmares ,right?" she ask making me nodding my head for a response, she sighed then smile a little, "oh my litte baby, don't worry im here to take care of you." . . . . after finishing eating breakfast, i get my things for school then goodbye say to Mina, making my way towards the bus stop because Julian had an emergency surgery in the early morning so he can't wait and bring me to school, I fix my coat as the coldness passes through me, since it was December and everything is getting cold, i couldn't stand getting freeze up. My phone dinged up, maybe Spencer text me again because I completely overlook to reply at him last night, i grab my phone as I arrive at the bus stop, he texted me good morning and he is now already at school, I immediately replied placing back the phone into my pocket, as the same time the arrived, I really happy that there are more vacant seat especially at the back where i love to sit. it's not the first time I rode a bus, but the last time something happened to me so Julian decided to drive me to school and get me home to avoid it to happen again, well some maniac tried to touch me. I let the other entered first especially the elderly woman while silently helping, Now it's my turn to ride I already prepared my bus card so the it will scan easily. "Good morning," the bus driver smiled as he great me, I bowed my head to accept his greeting then look for a chair which is on the farthest one and not crowded. . . . . After a few minutes, I arrived at school. I was intrigued by the fact that the students were congregating near the bulletin board, where I also noticed Spencer conversing with our class representative. I overheard one of the women muttering, "Poor him, why did he have to commit suicide?" Spencer had noticed me and motioned for me to approach him. I took a deep breath and then walked towards him. "What's up?" I questioned, and he simply shrugged his shoulders. "They said a student jumped off a bridge last night, and he said he couldn't handle his parents' pressure," he explained. "Some individuals truly prefer to take the easy way out rather than face the situation; if you were given the choice, what would you do? Would you commit suicide only to get rid of the problem or you would choose not give up because life is important?" he, I raised an eyebrow at him. "Perhaps it depends on the scenario; sometimes there is a cause for people to give up," I said, knowing that I couldn't do anything to stop her, just like the person I knew. "You're taking my question too seriously," Spencer joked, "let's walk to the classroom and maybe the lesson will start," he abruptly yanked me away. . . . . . On the way home, Spencer is pushing me to get in his car because he would drive me home; now I'm waiting for him in the parking lot since the teacher summoned him to discuss his daddy's sponsorship; now I'm bored waiting for him and maybe I should go home first because Julian might be worried now I'm about to text him first before going home when I noticed a familiar man standing at the school entrance; how did he know I was here? This is not good, and Julian should be aware of it. When he turned to my location, I immediately ducked; it's a good thing he didn't notice me, or is he still staring at me? I've also been hiding from him for a long time. "What are you doing, Fresh?" I almost shouted when someone grabbed me; my heart calm seeing it was just Spencer. "Why are you taking so long?" I sighed. "I'm sorry?" he scratched his neck, "Mr. Dimagiba wants to reveal as much about his initiatives as possible." he explained, "Wait what are you doing?" I looked again at the gate, he was still there, and Spencer spotted it, "Someone is following you right?" he asked, I nodded. "I'll explain later," I exclaimed, "but first we have to leave before he sees me." "Get in the car." When he told me to do it right away, he followed and gleefully started the car; I clung so tightly that I didn't realize we were still going through the gate; thank goodness the car window was tinted. "Just relax, Fresh. He can't see you," Spencer said as he tapped a button to make the car make a noise, and the man pulled over quickly. I felt as if I had stopped breathing when we passed him; I will never forget one of the persons who ruined my life, specifically Athena's.
