Chapter Ten: Revelation

"Who's that?" Spencer asked as we first stopped at a nearby convenient shop at home. I took a deep breath before answering, "That man, he ruined the life of a close friend of mine before and planned to r**e me." His eyes widened at what he heard, "You mean?"

"Julian and I charged him and he was imprisoned but he seems to be free now, he intends to take revenge on me because of happened to his sister, he promised that before entering the jail." I cut to what he would say.

he was silent for a few minutes, maybe absorbing everything I said in his brain, "How did that happen?" I looked at him, "When I tell you everything, promise me you won't resent me or leave me, because every time I tell my whole story, tomorrow I won't have any friends." I challenged him, he nodded.

"Perhaps we shouldn't talk here; I'll just message them Dad that I'll be staying with you first," he said before taking the phone and exiting the car; I also said farewell to buy snacks because I was sure we had talked for too long and I wanted something to eat while telling him the whole story.

Mina was overjoyed to see Spencer with me when we arrived home, so she immediately cooked a delicious dinner for him that no one could reject, I let Spencer sit on the sofa while we're preparing for the dinner. Later on Julian arrived from the hospital.

"Fresh allowed you to stay over here?" Mina asked incredulously, Spencer signaled okay to her, "Oh my god, i need to prepare the comforters for the meantime stay in Fresh's room, the guestroom is still unclean." my guest scratch his head while me snickered how excited Mina was, "Let her be, it's the first time brought and let your friend stay here, Mina was to overwhelmed." Julian laughed then leave to his room.

I took a shower first, Mina dragged Spencer to show my photo albums which I brought from my old house and some of the pictures they took silently making me embarrass to show it to others because some of it aren't good-looking . After I'm done I called him to showered next which he immediately did.

"I like that kid," Mina muttered as Spencer left making me sighed, "You always like everyone," I said, she smiled messing my hair. "but he's different, I'm sure his willing to take a risk to know you better." She handed me my medicine and milk, I thank her before drinking those and going back to my room, Spencer was already there drying his hair, I fix my bed before sitting on it. "Is it okay to you to stay up all night?" I asked, he smile then nodded. "Tomorrow is a holiday means we're free." he explained. I took a deep breath, "Where should I start?"

"Everywhere is fine," I raised my eyebrows, "Okay..."

Daddy parked the car on the side of the road a he received a call, my mood suddenly drop down from being excited to disappointed, They both promised to me not to take any work during our family day, Mommy notice my behavior so she eyed him who still talking on the phone. "Did anything happened?" she ask dad, my father look at her like they were talking with their eyes making my mother sighed, "Sweetie, Can we cancel our trip today?" Mom asked, I firmly shake my head.

"No," she turned back on Dad again, "Hon, I promise to bring you on Disneyland next week, if we cancel today." hearing the magic word from his mouth, I couldn't contain the excitement.

My eyes sparkled, I been dreaming to go in the Disneyland but my parents had no time busy they were to busy at work but still this is the only time we spend our family in the amusement park "I promise that we will take a leave then bring you there." I could simply ignore his bribing. "Fine but first treat me a happy meal." They both smiled. "Yes Young master."

Daddy on the engine again then take a U-turn to McDonald's, we plan to drive-thru then eat on the house, while on the way we keep singing, Mom patted my head as we reached the intersection, the greenlight was on our side, Dad stepped on the pedal to drive because we're on the front but I didn't expect what happened next, I saw a truck approaching us, the last time i remembered my mom hugged me so tight before it everything turned black

I woke up laying on the hospital bed, still in shock of what happened. the nurse trying to be straight forward telling me about my parents, they didn't make it. I was so devastated still processing everything happened; they couldn't even talk to me properly.

"Did you know any or some relatives?" the nurse asked, I only shook my head. I can't speak feels like something was stuck on my throat. "Doc, what should we do to him?" the doctor eyed me blankly, "The bills are already payed, I'm sure he was going to the orphanage." he explained before leaving, the nurse turned to me with pity, I don't need that I want my parents back.

after a few days they release me, they immediately brought me home. I feel like the world was ending as I saw my parent's coffin, all of my neighbors look at me slowly walking towards them, "What a pity, he was to you to be alone in this world." One of them muttered, a hand placed on my shoulder making me look up to see my Mother's best friend. "Im so sorry for your lost son, condolences." She hugged me, my tears threatening to falls but I couldn't contain it. I cried that day letting go all the sadness i felt.

I wish they brought me with them so i wouldn't get hurt like this.
