Chapter Twenty-Two
After Juliette and I explained what we intended to do about Amelia, Amy decided she wanted to, at least, see Amelia before she decided what she would do. That was fair enough. We had a cargo that was going to Vega colony the next day. We loaded up and headed for Vega. Juliette had arranged to meet us there. We both pulled in at almost the same time. Juliette docked her ship two positions down from mine.
Amy wanted to look presentable when we walked through the settlement so she put on her best dress. Juliette walked off her ship wearing her best dress. They hugged like friends. That was something I was glad to see. I still had to appease Amy, but Juliette was not obligated to do so. We walked into the settlement and quickly located Amelia out taking care of
