From prey To Mate

When I awoke I rubbed my head it hurt so bad. Then that's when i panicked I looked around and realized this was not a dream. I’m sitting in what looked like a single room, nothing special, a small table, lamp, and a bed. Wasn’t the best but it reminded me of home.

“What did you do to her?!” Someone growled

“I didn’t do anything. I was changing the runaway and that's when I found her…” A husky voice said, sounded like they were running “She smelled so sweet like honey and roses.. I couldn’t help it, my wolf wanted her…. She's my mate and no one will stop that” The voice said now determined. I quickly lay back down and act like I haven't heard anything or even moved. When I heard the door open, I tried to keep my breath calm. What do they mean by “mate” and “wolf” ? Those were definitely humans, I can't show fear. I have to find sarah. She probably already called the cops. They are looking for me right now. I know they are, I just have to keep calm.

I felt someone sit on the bed and they were softly whispering in my ear “my mate, my luna, Mine forever…” A soft moan comes out of him, Yes its a guy, “I hope you awake soon my luna… I can't wait to hear you talk to me… you smell beautiful.. Like honey and roses and those are my favorite… please wake up soon….” He kisses me lightly on my forehead before he leaves. I peeked my eyes open to make sure he was gone then saw he was waiting for me to pop my head out of the blanket, I felt the blood leave my face when i looked at him and… oh my god.. He was shirtless. I practically choked when I saw him and then instantly blushed. He slowly walked over to me and he asked “you do know who i am don't you..?” He looks like a little puppy hopeful for a sure answer.

“I-I’m sorry… “ I stammered “But no, I don’t know you…”

His face saddends “You must know me! I’m your mate….” He looks deeply into my eyes, Bright blue eyes the same ones that - I fell back and off the bed I started panicking

“W-w-who are you?!” I screamed at him, he almost looked hurt but it changed quickly when two more males walked in. My heart started to pound. “Well!!??” I moved back as far as I could till my back was flat on the wall

“Alice… please re-”

“HOW DO YOU KNOW ME?!” I screamed at him

“Look… my name is Derek.. I promise i won't hurt you please believe me…” Derek pleaded

“No… How do you know my name? Are you t-t-that wol-”

“Yes. I was that grey wolf. But you already knew i was a wolf didn’t you?” Derek questions

“No!” I screamed “How was I supposed to know that huh?”

“Alice…. How old are you?” Derek ask

“Why does that eve-” I was cut off

“Just answer it!” Derek raised his voice a little, it kinda scared me.

“I’m 19…. Why does it matter?” I asked

“When is your birthday?” Derek mutters

I went to answer but i literally forgot my birthday, my phone wasn't charged so i have no way of telling what day it is.. Oh my god.. Did my birthday already pass…..?

“Derek… How long have i been here?” I ask, scared of his response

“About two weeks… You were sleeping peacefully the whole time no one knew if you were going to wake up… But you did.. My beautiful mate did.” He told me with almost tears in his eyes

I started to cry fanticly, and hyperventilating. I couldn’t control it, I couldn’t breath, My vision started to go out, I didn’t know what to do…

Derek's POV

She started crying, it hurt so bad to see her cry, was it something I did? What did I do so wrong?

“Comfort her..” my wolf wines

“I don't think she wants me….”

“Just comfort her damn it!” He growls

“Ugh i hope she won't hate me for this. Where is her wolf at?”

“Hiding. I believe she's locked up somewhere… She wont let her out…” He cries to me

I walk over to her slowly so I dont scare her. I hate seeing her cry, it hurts so much. She looked up at me and I could see the panic in her eyes, She was scared that's all… Now is my chance to calm her down. By the time I get to her, She has already moved as far back as she could. I reach out to hold her and she flinches. Ouch. that hurt.

“Alice…” I say softly “It’s okay I promise I won't hurt you… I promise”

She pulled away from me at first but she finally gave in and hugged me tightly weeping uncontrollably. My poor luna…. I promise I will always protect you. I held her in my arms until she was fully asleep. She looks so beautiful. I hope she wants to stay with me.

“She’s here…” my wolf painted

“Is she really now?” I questioned

“Yes yes she is!! Wake her up! wake her up!” he wines

I had her in my arms still only now I was laying down and she was on my chest. I began to move her hair out of her face. Her nose was still red from all the crying but other than that she was beautiful. She was perfect for me. Her brown hair, coming down like waves, her eyes well the very few times i was able to see them, are green with specks of gold and they shined like no other, Her body was perfect, her pale skin bringing out her eyes and her hair and the way she holds herself in wonderful. I continued to play with her hair until I saw her eyes flutter. She's awake.

“Alice..?” i whisper

“Yea…. I’m up…. But to answer your question my birthday was actually a week and a half ago…” She said, her voice almost cracking.

“So you must know then…right?” I asked

“Know what…?” she replied

I sat up and made her look at me. She needs to know… how can she not know…. I took a deep breath and made sure she was calm before I told her.

“Alice…. You are a werewolf…”

Alice’s POV

“Alice… you are a werewolf…”

“W-w-what?” I stammer “Okay no, I’m not going to believe you…” I got up and tried to run but before I knew it, I was back on the bed, This time, with Derek over top of me.

“Please Alice you need to believe me..”

“You’re lying. Werewolves don't exist. You're just messing with my head. I know you are..” Before I could try to get out of his grasp his eyes turned black. He can’t be telling the truth there's no way. My mother definitely would tell me to run right now. f**k i wish my mom was here. I turned away from him.

“I can prove it to you but you still wouldn’t believe me. I know you wouldn’t but one this i can say is that your mother was right about you.”

I look back at him shocked “You.. What did you just say…?”

“Alice Cole…. Your mother is, well was, a werewolf. She knew this day would come. Your wolf has already awoken. How do you think you found your way here without any help?”

I panic again, I don’t know how to stop this… It’s crazy to think my mother was a werewolf. Even if she was, why would she hide this from me? Why would she do that to her own kid? I guess she was just like her father. A piece of s**t. That never cared. That never did care. I must be the biggest piece of s**t in this world. God, I wish I never woke up.

“I want to go to sleep… I don't want to wake up… I just want to sleep……” I stammered to him, scared he might get mad, I gave up. I have nothing in this world anymore. All I have is myself.

“Alice.. You are everything to me..” Derek say while pulling a blanket over us “I promise to protect you… you are my mate” he whispers

After that I was fast asleep.
