Trees, rivers, and animals are all I can see, a blur of green and brown. The cries of animals as I go as fast as my legs could carry me. Cannot stop! Do not stop! Adrenaline pumping filling my body with the endorphins to continue to help carry me as far away as possible.
Run! Shouted the mind of 22-year-old Serenity. The same questions continued to pound through her head. How did I get to this point? How do I get out? Do I surrender myself and just give in? Or do I continue to run for the rest of my life? The forest sounds echoed through her mind; escaping was the only thing on her mind and all she had been thinking about since she was a teenager. Now freedom was in her grasp; she was not about to let this opportunity for everything she had dreamed about slip through her fingers. The ground growing closer to her face, and the feeling of falling was the next thing she was facing. She hit the ground hard, tumbling and falling down the steep hill she had come to find herself traveling down. The green ground and trees blurred with the blue sky and the sun beginning to enter a dazed state, and then nothing, everything had stopped. Had she gotten to the bottom of the hill, her mind in a blur, she looked up at the blue sky, seeing a flock of birds soar over her before everything went black.
