His little Star

Chapter 3

Star P.O.V.

  It's finally Friday night and I shift for the first time in 30 minutes. Sammy, Katy, my mom and I are in my room getting ready for the ceremony. I'm in a silver Dress with silver and blue makeup. While looking at myself in the mirror my father walks in and says " Wow my bright Star you look beautiful." "Thank you daddy." Turned and looked at him and saw him with a little blue box sitting on my bed. "Here Star this is for you. We hope you like it." said my mother.

  I open up the box and find a necklace of a silver wolf with bright blue eyes. With tears in my eyes I run and hug my father. "I love it. You didn't have to get me anything?" Sammy and Katy turn to us and tell me I should put it on. "Won't it break during shift?" "Star this necklace is enchanted so that you always have it on even in your wolf form. You have nothing to worry about." came from my mother.

  25 minutes later Mat is at my door asking if Sammy and I are ready to go. "As ready as I'll ever be I guess." I say with a little chuckle. Mat is walking with my left arm in his arm and Sammy is holding my right hand as they walk me out to the back yard.  Once outside I see the whole pack gathered around the stage in the back. The pack makes a path and bows as we walk past them to the stage with my parents. 

  "Ladies and gentlemen of Sky Falls we are here to celebrate Star's first shift and first pack run" says my father. My brother and father walk me to the center of the stage where Sammy and my mother are waiting for me to help me through my shift. Once the clock hit midnight I felt the most pain I have ever felt before. After a long 20 minutes I finally completed my shift. Once I was done everyone shifted to their wolves and waited for me to start the run.

****(Dakota is D and Star is S)****

'Hello Star I'm Dakota your wolf'

'Nice to meet you Dakota. I'm happy to meet you." I tell her

'Oh sweetie I'm happy to finally be able to speak to you.’ -D

‘Have you always been with me? I thought we wouldn't get our wolves till we shift.’ -S

‘Yes I have always been with you. Normal wolfs get then at their first shift but I have always been with you.’ -D

‘Okay then I’m happy to finally beagle to see you.’ -S

‘We must always follow our heart and not always what is being said to us' -D

'What do you mean by that?' -S

'Just promise me that you will' -D

'I promise Dakota' -S

'What do we look like?' -S

'Go look in the pond silly' -D

  I walk over to the pond and see that I am a jet black wolf with silver spots and the brightest eyes I have ever seen on a wolf. Once I'm done admiring Dakota I turn to the pack and howl. I was greeted by howls from the others then we took off running. My brother and I played as we ran pushing and shoving each other. We ran the whole border of our pack lands. We stopped in the meadow to rest and some of us played with each other  before we returned to the back yard.

  Once we were back we all shifted back. But when I shift back I am in a white dress. We shred our clothes when we shift. While everyone else is naked as the day they were born, they're staring straight at me and my white dress. Many are shocked and some don’t know how to respond to me shifting in the dress.

  My father walked to the front of the stage and said "We have ran with our newly shifted wolf. We will hold  Star's party this afternoon. Go get some sleep and get ready to party." The pack cheers and howls in response to my father's speech.

  Once we're inside me brother drags me to my father's office with Sammy, our parents and Elder Greg follow right behind us. "Star what is your wolf's name?" my brother asked. "Dakota, Why?" I asked looking at him. Everyone starts moving about leaving me confused about what is going on. So I yell "Will someone please tell me what's going on?" Everyone at that moment stopped and bowed to me. "Why did y'all just bow to me?" I was confused once again. Finally my mother spoke up and said "We just felt like we needed to. I think it may be because Dakota might be the first werewolf princess."

'Dakota are you the first princess?' -S

'Yes Star I am. The Moon Goddess Luna herself specifically picked you to have me as your wolf.' -D

'What do you mean?' -S

'We are royal Star. We have a powerful aura which is why they bowed when you got mad and yelled.' - D

‘Can I control when I use the Lunar command or will it always be like this?’ -S

‘You will learn over time and well as learn the other things we can do. We are more special than you know Star. We will grow together as you learn.’  -D

  After taking to Dakota I filled my family and Elder Greg on what I had been told. Elder Greg walked up to me and got down on one knee and bowed his head. "I am loyal to you my lunar princess." he said to me. "Lunar princess?" I asked. "The lunar princess is the title given to a girl with the first werewolf princess. So Star you are the lunar princess and I will follow you wherever you go and ask." he replied. At that moment everyone in the room dropped to one knee.
