His little Star

Chapter 2

Star P.O.V.

  Me and Sammy went to my room once we were done in father's office. "Star you have to see it from your parents eyes. They want you to have the best you can get." said Sammy. "Sammy you don't get it do you? I want to stay in our pack. I don't know anything but my home land. I feel good about the thought of having to be with another pack." I throw myself on my bed and break down crying. Sammy tries to calm me down but I just yell at her to leave me alone.

  After a few hours of crying I finally come down stairs and find Mat, Ben, and Cameron in the living room playing some fighting game on the Xbox. "I'm going for a run." I tell them. "I'll come with you" Cameron tells me. "Alone" I tell them all. Cameron looks hurt by my comment but sits back down with the others.

  Once I'm in the woods by myself I think about what if my life were to change and had to leave my home. I run for about an hour before I make it to my little hide away. No one knows about the little waterfall I found a few years ago when my grandmother was killed by a rogue attack. Now whenever I'm upset or want to be fully alone I come here.

'Star where are you?' -Ben

'I'm on my way back to the house. I'll be there soon.' -Me

  Once home I walked to my father's office and walked in without knocking. "What can I do for you my bright Star?" my father asked. "I'm sorry for getting mad and storming out earlier during our conversation." I looked at my mother and saw that she is pleased with me for acting like an Alpha's daughter.

Mat P.O.V

  Sammy and Star left the office and went to her room to talk and maybe help her understand why she needed to. We are all going but she's having a hard time with having to go because she's found her mate. I also know it's her not wanting to leave the pack and family like Sammy did. Sammy is from White Stone pack from Maine. She was the youngest daughter of the pack’s Bata. On the day of our Alpha and Luna ceremony her parents and Alpha Mike will be there. She does facetime with her family whenever she wants and that helps be okay about  her leaving them.

  I head down the living room to play games with boys. We’ve played about 4 rounds of zombies when girls come down. Sammy comes and sits on my lap and Star lets us know that she's going for a run. Watch Cameron offer to go with her. But she wants to be alone right now so she told him no. Cameron has a crush on her since we're all little. He hopes that she is his mate but if she's  not them he’ll still be there for her.

“Cameron let her be, she's having a hard time with having to go the ball and she has yet to find her mate. On her birthday she wants to find him this pack so she doesn't have to leave home. “Oh, man, I want to be there for her and not let her suffer in head thinking about this.” “I know man.” I tell him. Sammy smiles at him and says “She wants to run so she can think and clear her head. She’ll come back just to give some time.” I smile and kiss her. She’s going to be a great Luna when it's time.

Maximus P.O.V.

  "Maximus James Stone where are you?" my mother yells. I've been hiding in the gym from her because she's all crazy about this ball. "There you are. Why are you not up stairs with the tailor? You need to have your suits ready for the ball and crowning." "Hi mother" was all I could say as I tried to get into the locker room and show.

  One I was inside I took my time with the shower and getting dressed in hops my mother would leave. I was so wrong, when I came out she was sitting on the bench waiting for me. It looked like her head was going to explode because of how mad she was. So I decided to link my father.

  'Dad will you come get mom and calm her down?' -Me

  'What did you do?' -My father

  'I was trying to hide  out in the gym from her' -Me

  'I'm coming' -My father

   "Maximus are you even listening to me!" yells at me. Just after that my father comes in and raps my mother in a hug and I watch her calm down instantly. I wish I had my mate already. 'You and me both man' Christian my wolf told me. 'Let's hope we find her this year and don't have to choose a girl to take as our mate and Luna Queen' I tell him. 'Me too' he answered back.

  "Max go do what your mother asked you to do. She's right about how important this is for the kingdom." My father told me. "Yes father" was all I said back. After they walked I headed up to my apartment to do my fittings for the suites I will be wearing for the ball and crowning. ‘When we're done with this we should blow off some steam and go for a run.’ Chris suggested. ‘I think that’s a great idea. We can get away from all this for a little bit.’ I told him. After a long three hours we are finally able to go for a run. I love Christian’s form. He’s a huge black wolf with white on the tip of our ears and tale. We also have white passes so it looks like we're wearing socks. We ran for a few hours before we headed back to the castle and back to all the things my mother wanted me to do for the ball.
