*Sisiwe’s POV*
Ever since I left with Syamthanda I’ve been at my happiest. He made me throw away my old phone which brought me peace of mind. I sometimes miss Mpendulo but he promised we will visit him in one of these days.
It was around midnight and I was feeling restless so I went to drink some water. I opened a refrigerator and took a bottle of water and pour it in a glass and drank. I put it down and sighed but then I felt movements from outside the house.
There were people roaming our house and that could only mean danger because Syamthanda said nobody knew about his place and how did they get pass security so late at night.
I hurried to the bedroom and waked up Syamthanda
“Syamthanda, danger” he groan and I shook him “Syamthanda code 888”.
As soon as I whispered those words he was up and had a gun in his hand.
“What’s going on?” he asked confused.
“There are people roaming outside the house, where’s my gun?”
“s**t, in the second drawer in my underwear clothing” when those words escaped his lips he stood up and made his way to the kitchen.
I took my gun and went to him. He went to the kitchen counter and took a gun from the kitchen shelf and pressed on a button that was flashing purple. As soon as he pressed that button, the transparent windows were wide open and it was as if were outside.
The three men who were in our house were exposed and shots were fired. We went towards them as Syamthanda shot one of them to the knee and the rest ran while dragging the injured one.
He sighed and went back to the kitchen and opened another shelf and pressed a green button. The window were restored again and everything went back to normal. s**t this is not a normal house.
I was in awe as he came and hugged me tightly relieved I wasn’t hurt.
“Baby I’m sorry” he apologized “ It’s fine we weren’t injured” he kissed my forehead.
“Let’s go back to sleep” I nodded and went back to the room. I had many questions though but I’ve saved them for tomorrow for now, I needed to rest.
