Mission Impossible

“First, learn how to make yourself happy.” Unknown Spending the day with the boss really helped me a lot. He’s one of those rare people who can make you speechless. I would just look at him speaking about everything for hours without feeling bored or annoyed. He’s also very kind. He paid everything for us from the beginning till the end. He let me enter his world and I discovered that he liked simple things like riding a bike in the middle of nature. We rented them and I followed him as he leaded the way. He seemed to know that place quite well. We stopped by a small shop which was actually a library. It was crowded with people, but he grabbed my hand and walked to the end of the shop where there was a sofa in front of the fireplace. “You like books?” he asked. “Please.” I rolled my eyes. “I don’t understand people who don’t read.” He chuckled and tapped my back, “Good boy.” He invited me to sit while he looked for something to read. “I feel like reading a classic.” I heard him say. “How about an English classic hyung?” I smiled. “Author?” “Jane Austen.” He looked at me with a smirk, ”Pride and Prejudice?” I nodded. “Mr. Darcy is the man.” I sighed. He laughed and searched for the book in the romance section. “I also feel like reading it because he reminds me of someone.” I smiled shyly. “Tiger?” Namjoon chuckled and sat next to me. “As arrogant and mysterious as Darcy.” “And handsome.” He looked at me and laughed, “Look at you!” he flicked my forehead. “Talking about your crush so naturally huh.” I blushed and lowered my head, “Are you uncomfortable with it?” “What do you mean?” “Gay people...” There was a silence before he burst out laughing. “Oh god Jimin...” “What?” I pouted. He ruffled my hair and looked at me with a smile, “I can’t be uncomfortable with it, cause I am gay too.” I choked on my saliva. “YOU’RE WHAT?!” I screamed so loud that the people gave me weird stares, and I was the last one who should be attracting attention. Namjoon placed his index finger on my lips and covered his mouth, trying not to laugh again. “You never told me.” I crossed my arms. “You never asked.” he shrugged and opened the book. “Shall we r******w?” I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder. “Whoa, what’s going on?” he chuckled nervously. “I just love you more now that I know you’re gay.” I whispered. “Oh, that’s because you love me.” I could feel him smirking. “If course I do hyung, now let’s read.” I felt him staring at me for a while before he cleared his throat and started reading the first chapter of the book. It was a little late when we came back to the company. Namjoon parked his car in the private area and asked me to wait. I saw him walking around the car to open the door for me. I chuckled and rolled my eyes, “This guy.” “Can’t I be a gentleman?” he asked with a smile. “Yeah, you can. But why?” He shrugged. “I just feel like it.” he said. “It’s been a long time since I last had someone to take care of.” I saw a sad smile forming on his face. “But you always take care of the agents.” “That’s my job, of course.” he nodded. “But I’m talking about about helping someone...like more personally.” I smiled, “So, you’re not helping me just because I’m an agent.” He shook his head, “I really like you Jimin.” he smiled. “I never regretted stopping you from turning yourself to the police. You managed to change plenty of things in the company even if you don’t feel it. You’re a kind boy.” His words truly warmed up my heart. I was always the man who complimented others and I got used not to hear any from people. Heonwoo was the only one who told me sweet things, and rarely. “Thank you hyung.” I whispered and hugged him. “You saved me from a miserable life and I can never forget it.” He patted my back gently, “Let’s get inside, it’s cold.” ~~ The corridors were empty, the agents are used to go to bed early especially after a tiring day of training or missions. Namjoon wanted to accompany me to the dorms and I thought it was cute how he was ready to do everything to keep my smile and make me forget my pains. He stopped and I looked at him with confusion, “What’s wrong hyung?” He pointed with his chin and I saw the Black Tiger leaving the balcony to head to his bedroom. “I think it’s time for me to leave.” he said with a low voice. “Good night Jimin.” he squeezed my shoulder and walked away. “Good night hyung! And thank you.” I walked fast in order to reach the Black Tiger. “Hyung!” He stopped and I could see his body tensing. He slowly turned his head until I could see the tiredness on his face. He had dark circles under his eyes and he looked a little pale. I walked toward him, staring at him with contusion, “Are you okay?” I asked. He hummed. “Where were you?” “I was with the boss, he invited me out.” “I see.” he nodded. “I gotta go sleep.” he mumbled before heading to the room. I grabbed his arm to stop and face him. I looked at his eyes and crossed my arms, “Why are you ignoring me?” I asked. He cleared his throat and looked away, “I’m not ignoring you.” “Oh, really?” I scoffed. “You acted weird since you left the room earlier in the morning. Is it because of what happened between us?” “That’s n-” “You didn’t like it, right?” I pressed my lips, fearing his answer. “The hell are you saying?” he frowned. “I never said that I didn’t l-” “I know I’m a bad kisser.” I mumbled, avoiding his eyes. “You could just say it.” He sighed and ran his fingers in his hair, “Jimin...” “Or is it another reason?” I asked, thinking about my conversation with the boss. “Not a good one I guess.” “You can’t understand.” he said quietly. “Why can’t I? You shouldn’t t-” “I gotta sleep, I’m tired.” he mumbled and opened his room’s door. Smoke and a strong smell of alcohol slapped me in the face. I frowned, guessing he spent the entire day drowning in glasses of whiskey and flying with cigarette smoke. “Good night.” I heard him whisper before he closed the door. ~~ The next morning, I found myself alone in the dorms. I moved lazily on the bed and unlocked my phone. I read 11 am and I groaned because I was late and I needed to let go of my warm sheets. How strange it is that your body gets lazier and more tired during cold days. I wish I could spend the entire day in bed. I took a shower and prepared my training bag. I had my first session with the new coach in an hour. It was sad that I couldn’t train with Jungkook anymore. We always spent good time talking about everything, but Namjoon was right. I should concentrate more on myself and my fighting skills. I learned a good lesson after what happened with Geumsik. When I entered the cafeteria, I saw the Black Tiger sitting in his usual table, but this time he wasn’t reading or listening to music. His eyes were looking at his cup of coffee while his mind was travelling elsewhere. He looked sleepy and exhausted, his state was worse than the night before and t made me worried not only about his health but also about the mission the boss gave me. I was supposed to make him happy, but I’ve only created problems for him work the police, the boss and himself. I stood next to him and cleared my throat, “Good morning hyung.” He answered after long seconds without lifting his head, “Morning.” “How are you doing?” He simply shrugged. I sighed, “Still ignoring me...” He didn’t answer. I bit my lower lip strongly and mumbled a small “okay” before heading to my friends’ table. It was a bad idea. The silence was too awkward that I could barely taste the food in my mouth. Their smiles were so fake that I found it annoying. Taehyung gave me a glass of orange juice and brought more pastries for me. Jackson and Jungkook were just looking at me, I could feel they were trying to say something but they couldn’t articulate a word. And Hoseok...well he wasn’t even looking at me. His orange hair was covering his face and the red hoodie he was wearing completed the job. I lost my appetite. I looked around me and realized the entire cafeteria was looking at me. The groups of agents were whispering to each other and gave me those sad and pathetic smiles. They pitied me, everyone did. I knew the things were gonna get screwed up after they knew that I almost got raped by a man in his forties. Their looks totally changed and it made me so angry. I felt so small and so weak every time their eyes would lie on me. “No, I can’t.” I said with a broken voice before running outside the cafeteria. I ignored everyone on my way and headed outside the building. I sat in the garden and started crying because nothing was alright; the agents were seeing me as a weak defenseless man and the Black Tiger was ignoring me when I finally thought something was going to happen between us. Everything sucked. “Hyung.” My chest tightened when I heard Jungkook’s voice. He was someone I got close to in a short time and I hated to see his opinion changing about me. I wiped my tears and lifted my head to see him and his boyfriend looking at me with sad smiles. They sat by my side and squeezed my shoulders. “Leave me alone.” I mumbled coldly. “Jimin, we’re just trying to h-” “You pity me!” I shouted, making them both surprised. “We don’t!” Jungkook shook his head. “I know you do!” I stood up and faced them. “I can see it in your faces, I can see it in your eyes!” The couple shared a look then Taehyung tapped the empty space between them, “Sit, please.” he smiled to me. I sighed heavily and did as he said. “You misunderstand us Jimin.” Taehyung said, rubbing my back gently. “We’re just worrying about you.” “You don’t have to, I’m fine.” “I know.” he nodded. “But we’re sad because we couldn’t protect you...” I frowned, “It’s not your fault.” “The boss was right, you’re not ready to go on missions alone.” I rolled his eyes. “I’m sorry hyung.” Jungkook squeezed my thigh. “I should have taught you more things.” I looked at him and it broke my heart to see his sad eyes. Jungkook is someone who rarely smiles, someone whose heart is fragile and I felt bad for seeing him feeling sorry. “Hey Kook.” I ruffled his hair. “You did nothing wrong. You’re a good coach.” Both Jungkook and Taehyung rested their head on my shoulders and placed an arm around my waist. We stayed silent for a long moment, only enjoying each other’s company. At a moment, I spotted a silhouette not too far from us. I recognized the Black Tiger and I saw him looking with worry on his face. He must have left right after he saw me running outside. I didn’t know if it should make my heart flutter because he cared about me, or make it break because something was stopping him from getting any closer to me. The session with the new coach wasn’t boring at all. He wasn’t as friendly as Jungkook obviously, but he was great. He managed to teach me plenty of things during only two hours. It wasn’t just physical, he also taught me how to analyze my opponent’s facial expressions and the way he moves his eyes in order to predict where he will hit. ~~ It was 2:30 pm when I finished the session, showered and wore my suit. It was time for lunch and even though I was hungry, there was something I needed to do. I couldn’t stop thinking about it during days, the curiosity was killing and my conversation with the boss the day before even worsened it. I needed to know about the Black Tiger’s past. I was told the boss left his office earlier in the morning, so I decided to put the little tricks I learned since I came in practice. I walked slowly in the corridor, making sure no one followed me. I stood in front of the door and looked around me. I wondered why Namjoon put a high security system in all the company, but didn’t do any for his office. I opened the door and entered the vast space. I had no idea how he organized the things, so I needed to search without leaving any proof that I infiltrated to his office. There was nothing on the desk, so I opened the drawers but I found nothing special a part of some family pictures, cameras and a gun. I moved to the shelf and found a bunch of files piled up in boxes. They were sorted alphabetically and according to the year of arrival to the company. I remembered his notebook and hurried to search in the 2014 files, the year when it all happened. Surprisingly, the boss put the fake names instead of the real ones, probably for a matter of extreme privacy. “Found it.” I whispered when I found a file under the name of “Black Tiger”. I took a long breath and opened it with shaky hands. A part of me felt bad because I was not respecting his privacy and another part wanted to know everything in order to unravel the mystery. The contents of the file surprised me. Namjoon was a smart man indeed. He resumed everything in four simple and short lines, not giving anyone the chance to know about the agent. Black Tiger, March 11th 2014. Daegu. Consume of alcohol and tobacco. 2 people killed. He killed two people just like I did, but the real question is who were they to him why did he do it. What came in the next paper caught my attention. Updates: 06/06/14: No progress. 04/12/14: No progress. 14/04/15: No progress. 01/01/16: No progress. 28/11/16: No progress. 31/04/17: No progress. 05/07/18: No progress. 13/10/18: No progress. My heart shattered into small pieces when I saw that he hadn’t made any progress during the last four years. The boss must have followed each of his steps and he must feel bad because he wasn’t changing. It made me think about myself. Am I making progress? I got curious to read my file, but as I was searching in the 2018 section I heard a familiar voice. The boss was back. I froze and my heart beat faster. I hurried to put back the files in the boxes and sat on a chair, taking breaths. The door opened and I heard a small, “Oh?” I turned and gave him a smile, “Hey hyung! I was waiting for you.” “Waiting for me?” he placed his car keys on the desk and took off his jacket. “Anything wrong?” “Hum, maybe? I wanted to ask you something.” I lied. He sat in front of me and crossed his arms, “Go on.” “Yesterday you said that my mission is to make him happy, right?” He nodded. I must have looked so ridiculous because I had to come up with a lie in order not to make myself suspicious. Namjoon is a great guy and there was no way I would my relationship with him. “He’s still ignoring me.” I sighed. “When I try to talk to him and get closer, he walks away.” “I know, we talked about this yesterday.” I felt stupid. “Y-yeah, I know.” I said. “But...I think it’s because of another reason.” He raised an eyebrow, “What reason?” I hesitated for a moment before looking at his eyes and answering, “Me.” He furrowed. “Junsun didn’t choose my best friend just like that you know...” I rubbed my neck. “I’m boring. I remember he rarely laughed at my jokes and never said that he liked being with me. Yes, everything was fine during the first months, but then he started getting tired of me. I wasn’t satisfying him...even sexually.” I blushed. “Maybe that’s why the Black Tiger doesn’t talk to me. I’m sure he doesn’t want to get involved with someone like me.” I wanted to come up with a lie, but I ended up telling the boss what I had in my heart, what was really bothering me. “I can’t believe you.” he shook his head, a frown appearing on his face. “How can you say that about yourself?” “But-” “I mean look at you...” he sighed and ran his fingers in his brown hair. “How can someone not desire to be with you?” He spoke with such a tender voice that it made me gulp. “I told you that Tiger is still struggling with the past Jimin.” he continued. “He still can’t forgive himself.” I lowered my head and bit my lip, trying not to cry. He sighed and stood up. He walked around the desk and sat on the chair beside mine. He placed his hand on my cheek and said, “It’s not about you. He just thinks he doesn’t deserve happiness.” “He deserves it more than anything.” I whispered. “He saved me, he risked himself to take me away from that bastard’s hands.” “I know.” he nodded. “That’s why I gave you that mission. You should convince him that he’s not the bad man he thinks he is.” I was about to say something, but he cut him off. “You should also know that if you want to complete your mission, you have to make yourself happy first.” Oh? “You can never make someone happy if you’re not.” he said. “You’re lacking confidence Jimin and it’s bad.” he squeezed my shoulder. “You need to love yourself, that’s the most important.” “But how?” I asked, wiping my tears. He stood up and looked for something in his jacket’s pocket. It was a small blue handkerchief with red embroideries. He gave it to me and I smiled to him, “Thanks hyung.” “You should see the good side of you.” he said. “And trust me, there are so many.” “Like what?” He rested his chin on the palm of his head and stared at me with a smile, “You’re kind and generous. You like to help others and always be there for them. You’re very handsome, I know you won’t believe me, but yes you are. I know it may sound weird coming from me, but you have the most beautiful eye smile.” I chuckled and looked away. “If I was Junsun, I would have never failed you Jimin.” he added, surprising me. I looked at him with wide eyes. “I’m just telling the truth, and I confirmed it yesterday. I didn’t feel bored during the entire day, it was fun to spend time with you and I know it’s even better to date you.” “Even if I’m a murderer?” I spoke with a quiet voice. He placed his hand on my thigh, “Why do you think I created this company? Because I know there is more good than bad in you.” I smiled and hugged him tightly. “You’re too kind hyung.” He placed his arms around me and rubbed my back gently, “You deserve to be happy.” He looked at my eyes and approached his face to kiss my forehead, making me blush so hard. He cleared his throat and stood up, “It’s time for lunch. Your friends must be waiting in the cafeteria.” “Y-yeah.” I rubbed my neck. “Thanks hyung.” “You’re welcome.” ~~ He was still ignoring me. I tried talking to him again, but he would give me the shortest and coldest answers. My friends were still acting weird and it just worsened my mood. I had nothing to do, so I headed to the dorms. I watched some videos on my phone then slept. When I opened my eyes, I saw the sleeping. It was dark outside. I read 02:00 am on my phone and cursed because I would have a hard time sleeping back. I turned my head and saw Hoseok sleeping, all covered with sheets. We didn’t exchange many words since yesterday, Taehyung told me he was acting this way because he felt bad that he couldn’t help me. It’s sweet, but no one could have done something. I didn’t have the chance to use my phone and call for help. The Black Tiger saved me that night because he’s the one who truly knows me along with Namjoon. If it wasn’t for him, I would have drowned in sorrow and self hate. I left my bed and headed outside the dorms. I walked in the empty corridors, enjoying the piano notes. The boss insisted on leaving a relaxing music playlist on during the nights because he thought it would make us feel better. I smiled thinking about all the things he does for us. Footsteps interrupted my thoughts. I stopped and saw the Black Tiger walking toward the shower room. I followed him and called, “Hyung.” He turned and raised an eyebrow, “What are you doing here?” he asked. “I can’t sleep.” I rubbed my neck. “How about you?” “I have a mission in two hours.” “This early?” He simply nodded. He was about to walk away when I grabbed his arm, “Hyung, can’t you just stop ignoring me? That’s making me angry.” “Let me go.” he mumbled. “I won’t until you tell me what the hell is wrong with you.” “I’m in no mood for that.” he said, looking at me with his dark eyes. He pulled his arm away from my hand and entered the shower rooms. I cursed and followed him. I undressed myself and kept only my underwear. I ran my fingers in my hair and took a breath before entering his cabin. “The hell?!” he looked at me wide eyes. “We’re not finished.” I said. “I spent two days trying to talk to you, but you just ignore me and keep making me worried.” “Why would you be worried?” he averted his gaze from me. I knew I was making him nervous and uncomfortable because of my half-naked body. “Because I’m trying to help you and you don’t give me a chance to do it. I don’t even know if I did something wrong that pushes you away from me.” “You did nothing.” he said. “Then what? It started after our kiss. I won’t lie to you hyung, I really liked it and was anticipating for more, but you chose to ignore.” I said, feeling my cheeks warm up. I heard him sighing. “I know.” he said. “It was good, but...” “But what?” I approached him. “What’s the problem?” “I don’t know.” “Hyung.” I placed my hand on his arm. I felt him shivering not only because of cold but because of my touch. He rarely uncovered his arms and he must be ashamed because they were full of scars. “I know a little of what’s in your head and I just want you to understand that you’re not the man you think you are.” He finally lifted his head to look at me with sad eyes. “You’re not bad hyung.” “I’m a murderer.” “I am too!” I said. “I killed two important people in my life!” “That’s not the same...” he mumbled. I raised an eyebrow, “Why not?” He shrugged. “Hyung.” I sighed. He stayed silent for a moment. “Now, what do you want?” he asked. I placed my hand behind his cold neck and looked right to his eyes before whispering, “I just want you to be happy.” “That’s not happening any soon.” he mumbled. “I know.” I took his hand and made him walk with me until my back was against the wall. “But I’m going to try.” Our faces were too close at that moment. There was a silence reigning over the building, only the quiet piano music could be heard. We both were having a hard time breathing properly because of our bodies’ proximity. “Anything more you want?” he asked, making me bite my lip so hard because of his deep voice. I placed a hand on his left shoulder and hide my face in his neck and whispered, “I want you to f**k me against this wall.” He froze. He looked at me with darker eyes and let out a groan as be grabbed my ass strongly making me gasp with surprise. Our noses touched and my breathing slowed down when his eyes rested on mine before he jailed my lips between his. It was happening. The kiss I wanted to bad after our moment on his bed. I moaned when he bite my lower lip and sucked it slowly, his hands grabbing my ass tight. I opened my mouth to let him capture my tongue. I wanted to place my arms around his neck, but he won’t let me do so. He hurried to pin them against the wall and kissed my neck right after. I couldn’t help but let out a small moan when I felt our hard c***s touching. You must think I’m crazy, but damn you don’t know how bad I wanted that man. “Hyung.” I whispered between his lips. “Can’t wait.” He groaned and got rid of my underwear with a simple finger move. I hummed when his cold hands caressed my ass gently. It was just the calm before the storm. He surprised me by lifting me up. I put my legs around his waist as he kissed me harder with such a hunger, an impatience and passion. I used my toes to get rid of his boxers and chuckled when I heard him moan in my ear. “Damn you.” I bite my lip. I saw him looking around searching for something. “Forget it hyung.” I said. “We don’t need that shit.” He smirked and didn’t waste a single second to penetrate inside of me. I let out a loud moan and he covered my mouth with his big hand, “Shuu, they’re gonna hear you.” I gulped and held onto him, breathing sharply. “Oh fuck.” I cursed when I felt his c**k moving deep inside of me. He hide his face in my neck and pushed harder. I moaned in his hand and pushed my head back as I felt the pleasure reigning all over my body. “Faster.” I said with a breathless voice. My legs started shaking and my heart beat faster as he thrusted faster and harder every time. I opened my eyes for a second and chuckled when I saw the steam on the door’s glass. That’s how powerful our bodies are. “f*****g s**t!” he groaned and this time his movements were faster than ever. Thrust after thrust, I hit my back against the wall every time, feeling so full already. “Damn hyung I’m gonna cum.” He placed his hands on the wall as a support to push deeper, making me go crazy. I closed my eyes and opened my mouth, without having the ability to pronounce a word. In a matter of seconds, I felt a strange sensation in my body. It was so good that I wished it would never end. We came together and let out a heavy sigh as we took our breaths. I rested my head on his shoulder for a moment until I regained my energy. I looked at him and bite my lip. “So, are you gonna tell me your name?” “You already know it.” he said. “No, your real name.” He chuckled and placed a kiss on my lips, “Never.” he whispered. I pouted. “Now let me shower, I gotta go.” he said. I hummed and kissed his cheek, “Let me wash this mess first.” I chuckled, pointing to my sticky thighs. ~~ The next day, I could barely walk properly. I was too sore that I cursed him every time I made a step. But it was such a great moment. I never felt much pleasure before, it was so amazing to be real. I spent the entire day in the field outside learning how to master a gun. After lunch, I met with the boss on my way to the dorms. “Hey hyung.” “Hey Jimin.” I furrowed when I saw the paleness on his face. “What’s wrong?” I touched his arm. “Tiger went on a mission earlier in the morning.” he said. “I know.” “He told you?” “I...I was was him before he left.” I blushed. He looked at me with confusion, “I see. Did you see him leave?” “Yeah, I walked him outside and saw him get in the car. But why hyung?” He sighed and pressed his lips. “He didn’t come back.”
