On the other hand, Tarvan was still with the crowd waiting for ivy, who for no reason hasn't come back after a long period of him waiting. What will be keeping her, Tarzan thought maybe she could be with some little elves since she was always fond of playing with young ones, but it was quite late so that wouldn't have been possible. I decided to go check up on the horse, maybe she did take one back to the castle but no, the horses were still there knotted properly. I wondered what must have happened, then suddenly I saw two elves running towards me, at first I was frightened, felt like throwing up because of the fear, but I finally regained my cool, not knowing what to do I then shouted "Running from what strangers??" "Yes,over there" one of them pointed "What is over there?" I asked with some level of curiosity "a wizard, we got attacked by a wizard" "Uh....a wizard"!!!how possible is that, wizards in the elf kingdom do not attack strangers only if they mean harm to anyone around them. " Yes a wizard "they replied in unison " If you don't believe us, you could go there yourself, hopefully you will live to tell the story", they said while running past me. Fear crawled into my body, now I was hoping Ivy was still safe after this wizard experience I heard from these strangers Remembering the street, the elves pointed, I quickly took my sword ran over there hoping to find Ivy. On getting there I could see a bright light, but in a twinkling of an eye it disappeared. It took me some seconds before I came to reality with what just happened, was that the said wizard?or just a lighting? But it certainly wasn't a lighting because the weather was not that bad and beside there would have been a roaring thunderous voice following after the light. Walking back to the horses, I couldn't stop thinking about what I just saw coupled with the fact that Ivy was now missing. Now what ran in my head was what I was going to tell mom and dad when I get back to the palace, maybe I shouldn't have let Ivy join me, I thought. I walked from street to street for about an hour asking strangers if they had seen a young female elf, but the responses I got were not helping, now I was getting frustrated. For a moment I wondered why I didn't just join Ivy back to knot the horses with her, what got into me?, blaming myself now wouldn't help my situation, not even a bit. Now my head were hurting due to my much thinking. Walking back to the castle, this time not riding the horses hoping to see Ivy by the way, thinking of what I was going to tell mom kept on troubling me, I could remember mom giving me some warnings and reasons why I shouldn't take Ivy outside the castle walls without her consent. Getting closer to the castle I could feel the pressure and blood pumping in my veins and arteries move so fast, droplets of sweat ran all over my body soaking my rider's attire, was like I fell into a pool. As soon as I got spotted by the tower guards two meters away, the castle gates were opened before I got close enough. "Your highness" "yes" I looked up it was the tower guard "quite unusual, what kept you outside this late??", not knowing what to say, "i.....i"was the only thing I could say as my voice cracked before I got interrupted "Perhaps your highness might have met a pretty young damsel" one of the tower knights joked, I would have laughed some other day, but I was not in the mood for all that. Quickly I dropped the horses at the stable, dodged some knights to avoid some questioning, thankfully there were no knights at the stable. After a while outside the palace, looking at the sky, I watched how the moon shone its light and the stars just hanging up there not moving but all perfectly placed, all these might have been done by a great magical artist I said to myself. "Tarvan" with fear I turned back, it was Lisa, "where have you been"she asked with some urgency of seriousness written all over her " since when did you start treating me like a baby"I said while faking a smile "have been looking for Ivy, asked some maid, and I was told she followed you outside the castle gates, you know how mom detest her going out" "Yes, she did, but now we are back, I think she might be bathing" I lied with a smile not wanting further questions but what if she knew Ivy was missing? What if he could tell her?that would have at least made his problem have solved, but on a second thought it won't be a nice idea. "Okay, when she's done, tell her to come meet me at my chamber have got something to show her" " Yes your highness "I teased her just to ease the stress I was facing. As soon as Lisa left I quickly ran into the palace hoping to find Ivy in but all to no avail " What have I done"I said to myself, now I could feel my feet getting tired with my heart pounding in my chest, I need to get some rest but how am I going to do that when Ivy is still missing. Climbing the stairs hoping to see Ivy, but I didn't, getting close to Ivy's chamber I wished I could turn the hand of the clock or better still command Ivy to appear right now, all these were just magical thoughts knowing I was just a Prince elf and not a wizard. Getting closer to Ivy's chamber, knocked at the door waited for somewhile but didn't get any response, then I decided to open the door. While I opened the door, what I saw shocked me.
